It isn’t perfect, but for those who like hack-n-slash games they should enjoy this. Controls could be a little better but all in all, worth playing, IMO.

I will recommend that you play this on your TV because any text is hard to read on the Switch screen. I also suggest using the Pro controller if you can, because using the Joy-cons, even in the Grip, isn't great for this kind of game. Despite those warnings, Nights of Azure 2 is a pretty easy pick-up-and-play game given the timed mission structure. It’s not perfect, but I’m having a good time with it. I encourage you to save often, though, because the game crashed on me three times and resulted in lost progress. Annoying, but at least it’s not hard-locking the system.

Nights of Azure 2 builds on what was good from the first game, and explands on combat. This game is more fun, and just as beautiful. I am having a blast with it, easy to pick up and play in short segments, and great to play on the go. I recommend it to those who played the first game and had a good time with it.

If you have played the first Nights of Azure, you'll definitely like this one. If you haven't played the first one, don't wait, its a great game. It's hard to put this one down as the story really draws you in.

Pretty decent game overall, I wish the camera wasn't as awkward to maneuver. This is one of those games where there's a mechanic that I end up mostly ignoring, and for this game that mechanic is the Servan system. I hardly use/change them and kinda wish they weren't in the game or were implemented differently. Also I'm not a fan of running against a clock, which you do in two different ways. Firstly you can only go out for 10 minutes at a time (this amount gradually increases as you level up and invest in specific skills) each day, and each day advances the moon counter, which when it runs out, it's game over. This is just a personal preference, it's not a big deal.

loving the art direction of this game, not to mention the gameplay. glad to see they made a sequel for the original game.

I put around 10 hours so far into the game and it's alright. It's an action rpg with lots of repetitive grinding. Voice acting is good. Gameplay and learning curve can get complex as there are constant tutorials. Graphic is sexy especially once players unlock the pool area. And this is on the switch that you can play on the go which makes it even better.

This game is almost like playing through an anime series. Good character detail as well as an interesting story.

I bought this game on a whim. It's well made, but just not for me. I've yet to even get past Chapter 1, I either die or time runs out. I don't really understand much about the game's world either. I looks good, and the controls are ok.

This is an enjoyable action RPG that really shines on the Switch do to the limited time missions -- that means it's perfect to play on the go or when you have it docked at home.

Unique role playing game that's fun to play at home or on the go

Visually stunning, gameplay is fun, cute characters, and nice story, only one downside... There is a timer pressuring you to do nothing but hurry through the game, can't look around, can't explore, can't fight enemies for leveling up, you literally run out of time and when the time runs out it's game over.

If you like Japanese game you will like it. Good but weird.

Anime based action RPG. Pretty interesting story, a step up from the original. Play on the go is a plus with Switch.

One good thing about the switch is you get access to hidden gems, such as this one, that I normally would be able to play! Story is great, game is awesome!

Really fun game if you like jrpgs. Having it in the go is a plus as well

Feels like the game Folklore mixed with Dynasty Warriors or Fate series. Very complex story but worth the gameplay.
