This may be the easiest item I have used. Everything was a breeze, just plug and go. The information is correct (I didn't even need to calibrate), and a great motivator to keep me moving through my 10K training. Thanks Nike and iPod.

I just discovered when the sensor loses power - you have to buy a new kit . There is no battery replacement. Last about 5 months

I got this thinking it could work with my iPod video, but it didn't. Fourtunately, my brother lets me borrow his iPod Nano for when I run so I can still get some use out of it. And when I do use it, it works great!

I bought this for my wife so she could track her progress. Calibration was required and after it was calibrated the distance closely matches our treadmill. However, she is frustrated that the calories don't match. The device can't account for inclines and even on flat runs it seems short on the amount of calories burned. It is a nice data logging device but that is the extent of its value.

If u do biking, elliptical, stair climber, this does not work for you. This strictly running; walking;. If your gym has the Nike + aerobic machines this will work. My gym is a large facility run by the hospital. Beautiful pools; tracks; equipment, but no Nike + machines. So no recording of data. You really need Nike+ shoe. Although you can purchase a pocket for the receiver, it really does not work as well as with the Nike+ shoe. I see there is also a Polar accessory avail., but when used, all info HR; miles, Cals., are not all viewable on the Nano screen.

This products is great. I just recently got into running and this has helped with the motivation 110%. Its so simple to use, just plug and play for the most part. Being able to track how far and fast you've gone is the perfect tool during training. I highly recommend this to anyone!!

Unit worked well after rebooting iPhone in order to get to work after 1 time. Has worked well since. Tracking of workout times and distance actually challenges you to work harder next time to beat prior time and distance. Provides great information. Had to buy pouch to use in non-NIke sneakers. However, I can now use for other applications, i.e. hikes, walking distance during golf, etc.

Great product; I enjoy syncing stats online with Nike to review my exercise progress. I use the Nike+ shoes, so finding a spot to use the insert is no problem. Disappointing waste that I must buy a replacement kit rather than replacing the battery.

You can challenge frends and family, keep track of your runs daily and work through customized workouts from professional trainers, all for free!

Its a great way to keep a track of your progress in running. I am still discovering new things everyday...... hopefully will grow more fitter.....

This product is amazing. I really have no problems with it. The only thing I wish you could do was an non timed workout. SOme good things about it are you can choose from workouts like a basic workout, timed, distance, or calorie. Also you can calibrate it so you can get more accurate workouts. Also it keeps istory of all your workout stuff like total distance, total time, total calories, best mile, farthest distance and # of workouts.

This product is great if your wanting to get back into running. Helps you track your distance, speed and calories. You can also download your progress on nike.com and make a chart of how far you have gone. It tells you how after a certain amount of distance how far you have gone and how far you have remaining! EXCELLENT PRODUCT!!!! You can also buy and use with other shoes besides the nike shoes.

I love this product! Well worth $30. I love knowing how far I have run and my pace. I can also upload my runs to the nikeplus website and keep track of all of them. It has increased my motivation 100%. You also don't need the special Nike shoes with this product. You can find an adapter for about $8 - $10 that you can tie into your shoe laces and use it with any shoe. Wonderful!!

I love my Nike+ I'm very active and love to tote this with me everywhere. I truly feel that it has helped me with my fitness goals and recent loss of weight. I love it's features and the fact that you can use it to interact with the Nikeplus website. This product is a big necessity when trying to lose a certain amount of calories.

The shoe insert is supposed to fit into a pocket in your shoe. I have searched for shoes with this pocket ot no avail, so I cut one out myself. DUMB idea!!! No this pair of shoes is uncorfortable with or without the transmitter. Also, the interface needs to be accessed dueing the run, which means the iPod is back in your hand or pocket, and not your running sleeve, which is also cumbersome.

I bought a pair of Nike+ shoes specifically so I could use this iPod gadget. I love the gadget, but the Nike+ shoes are just okay. I have seen devices on Amazon.com that let you attach this to your shoelaces, but I haven't tried any out yet. The Nike+ challenges are really motivating.

This is a very good product. I definately recommend this to any runner ready to take it to the next level. It allows you to be competative and helps you work extreemly hard. This is definately an essintial to all high athlete runners.

I purchased this item to track my runs to get ready for a marathon. After running with it in a pouch connected to my laces I found it to be very inaccurate. No matter how many times I calabrated it, it was still giving me inaccurate data. It would tell me that I ran 6 miles when I ran 5 miles. I tried calabrating it on a treadmill and at .70 miles it said I had 200 M to go, which is about .15 miles. I then put it in the little hole of the shoe that is recommended and the tracking was still inaccurate. I would recommend looking at other options before purchasing this item.
