This is an incredible lens! From 14mm - 30mm, great range... This is my first native glass for my Z6 and it works great for photos and video. No FTZ adapter needed and all of the benefits from using native glass. Very sharp, stable (With FTZ 3 points of stability in camera, no adaptor the number goes up to 5) compact, & with a reassignable focus ring. If you're looking for a lens in this range hit the breaks, this is a real winner. I love it! It also cost less then the 14-24mm F2.8 - (12yr old lens technology), wide open this is an F4 with a larger element. With my Z6 I'm very ok with it.

Love this lens, as I do all my native Z glass. A must have for any landscape shooter with a Z camera. Light, compact, sharp, weather sealed, and takes filters. With the larger lens mounts, and resulting size and weight reduction, it’s easier to carry all my Z lenses in my bag. I’ve bought nothing but native since going Z, and don’t intend to. Waiting for Nikon to release the 105mm macro, although the F mount is a great lens! Example photos are with a Z6: f8, 1/30, iso100, @ 16.0mm, and f9, 1/10, iso1250, @ 23.5mm respectively.

Great lens fir the price. With the ability of the new Mirrorless cameras and the ISO capabilities, the f4 is no issue. I have the 14-24 f2.8 as well, but for the price, you cannot beat this lens

If this lens is this amazing I can’t imagine what the 14-24 2.8s is like and God willing I’ll have it to but if I don’t this one is Competition grade.

Incredibly sharp from end to end. No Parallax. Renders images very nicely.

I shot on a 14-24 f/2.8 F-mount with my Z6 since Nikon released their mirrorless line and I feel like I'm finally enjoying shooting wide with this lens. The 14-30 is very portable and the optics are great. I mainly shoot outdoor adventure sports so a lightweight wide angle has been a game changer. I got this one on clearance for ~30% MSRP. I would strongly consider this lens if you need a wide angle. My only qualms are the barrel feels very "plastic-y" and it doesn't have a FN button.

Excellent lens. Very sharp at typical F8-F11 landscape aperture ranges. Typical lenses in this focal range are very heavy, expensive and don't take filters easily. This one is hiking friendly budget friendly and takes standard 82mm screw on filters. If your main purpose is astro photography, the 20 mm Prime lense or the more expensive 14-24 mm 2.8 will let in a lot more light. For general landscape or real estate photography, however, this lens is a great choice in the Nikon Z mount system

IF you're looking for a wide-angle for a Nikon Z camera, this should be on your shortlist. It's a good price point. It's likely the best value right now for an ultra wide-angle without having an F-mount lens on an adapter. Very sharp, even wide open. Compact for it's range and otherwise just works. VR on a Z6II can really help - assume it would be the same with other Z-range cameras with in-body VR.

What can I say... 14mm.. f/4 .. with SCREW ON 82mm filter threads!? Anyone whom has carried around a 150mm filter holder and filters knows why this is such a big deal. Tack sharp. Great IQ. I love this lens as a light weight ultra wide option !

Excellent wide angle lens for the Z cameras. The lens is very sharp edge to edge. It’s also amazing how compact and fairly light it is for travel. I have been eagerly awaiting for this lens since it’s announcement and I am thrilled to be enjoying it now. So far I think this is a must have if you enjoy the native Z system lenses like I do.

A great compact, excellent quality wide-angle zoom for the Z-System. I consider it a really practical trade-up from my F-mount 14-24 f2.8 and while it's a stop slower, the ability to use filters I already own and compact size make it a must have lens for the Z-system. Very impressed with the overall image quality at any focal length. Using the lens on a Z9.

Nikon Z lens's are no joke. This f4 lens is so close to my 14-24 z 2.8 in image quality and performance. Much smaller and lighter, great color and sharp! Great option for my z9 when i don't need 2.8 and want to save weight and size. Also accepts screw in filters which is amazing for such a wide lens.

This wide angle lens is super sharp. I use it on my Z6 and am very happy with it. The nice thing about it is that it supports filters - which is rare on a wide angle lens like this.

This is a fantastic wide angle lens. The NIKKOR Z 14-30mm has a great focal range, especially for landscape or city photographers. It was the only lens I brought with me on a trip to Italy, and I never found myself wanting or needing a different lens. I also appreciate that this lens has a thread for filters.

I do landscape photography and this lens is great: not too big or bulky, and a good range for a wide zoom. Very sharp lens. Auto focus with a switch on the lens to focus manually. Love this lens on my Z7 II.

The lens is light to carry, compact and delivers crisp images. Exactly what I was looking for in a wide angle lens.

Previously used a Nikon 16-35 VR, and this lens is a nice upgrade, Sharper, wider, and much more compact. I was sold on this lens when i saw 14mm with 82mm filter threads.

The fact that I can have a 14mm ultra wide zoom that closes itself down to a manageable size is amazing. PLUS.... can put ND filters on it without any large adapters. Great job, Nikon!
