This is easily one of the best standard zoom lenses I’ve ever used. It’s a workhorse that delivers top-tier performance in nearly every scenario. If you’re a Z-series shooter looking for a reliable, professional-grade zoom, the NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S is worth every penny

    Optically perfect workhorse. Lacks character!

THE GOOD: Outstanding optically! Corner to corner sharpness is second to none. One of the best zoom lenses on the planet. It's as sharp as prime lenses in its range. It's absolute perfection with minimal to no CA, minimal to no distortion. THE BAD Lacks character. Its lack of flaws in turn makes the rendering a little boring. Also, the build quality doesn't feel as premium as I would expect from top-of-the-line Nikkor. The OLED display is cool but unnecessary for most applications. Could have saved a little size and price by not having the OLED display. For landscapes, this lens is a no-brainer. However, for weddings, events, portraits and fashion, I actually prefer the F-mount 24-70mm f/2.8 due to its slight optical flaws and more captivating rendition.

Amazing lens for landscapes and portraits. It's fast and sharp at every focal length. Used it to take my graduation pictures and covers enough focal lengths to be used as a daily.

This lens has been a game changer for me! I'm usually a prime lens person, but the versatility of this zoom lens has definitely upped my game. It allows me to get different looking shots without even moving my body. The low f-stop and S line is worth every penny to get sharp images with a fast capability.

Incredible lens—tack sharp, beautiful color rendering. I used to only shoot primes, but really wanted to give this lens a try for more variety with weddings. This lens delivers. So happy with this purchase!

If you are serious in photography this lens is a must have. Great colors, excelent aperture, an also excelent zoom range. Nikon has similar prices everywhere, so having it from your nearest Best buy and get some rewards is great. I recoment the lens and recommend the purchase in Bestbuy.

I’ve been a photographer for almost 50 years. This is the lens any Nikon Z owner must own. I had the AF-S with the adapter ring and there is no comparison. Don’t bother getting a knockoff if you’re serious. If you’re going to spend money on a z, this lens should be your main lens.

I bought this lens for my z6ii. It is amazing. It is so much lighter and more compact than the dslr version and is super sharp. Great contrast and flawless in backlight.

This 24-70 is a nice upgrade from many f-mount Nikon versions. I purchased this one to replace my Tamron 24-70 G2. I didn't want to use the FTZ adapter anymore as another reason to get this. In regards to ease of use and quality it is top notch. The images come out sharp. The weight is a nice balance with the Z6ii with grip. There is a dedicated lens function button which is a nice addition for custom control. I'd highly recommend this to those who need shallow depth of field, weddings and portraits, work in low light.

An excellent lens made in Japan that is pricey but well worth it for several reasons. Solid “pro” like feel, sharp focus, nicely weather sealed and great for walking around photos, street, portraiture and landscapes. Don't look past this as an option because of the price, try it on your nikon Z camera and see for yourself what quality brings to the table.

This lens is perfect for me when I'm out and about and I don't want to carry multiple lenses on me! I was worried it would be too heavy, but it's actually really comfortable to hold.
