Writing review after a year of using it. I mostly use it on Z8 for video shoot, and so far hasn't disappointed me. The focus is always spot on, and lens seem to work as expected.

Really nice wide angle lens. Images are crisp edge to edge. The quality of these Nikon Prime lenses is very high compared to other lenses. I now have two (50mm/1.8 and 24mm/1.8) Nikon Prime lenses and am looking forward to adding a third lens (70mm to 200MM/2.8) to give me the coverage I need.

Excellent Lens For Close-ups

The Nikkor Z 24mm f/1.8 S lens that i purchased at a decent price, has done a nice job for me in taking close-ups, especially of small animals. A definite recommendation for your Nikon Z6 or Z7 camera.

This has become my favorite lens to use for close up portrait, group, landscape and basically anything close up i can capture it. Works great at night, images comes up sharp. Would definitely recommend.
