The Nikon - AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-200mm f/3.5-f.6G ED VR II Zoom Lens is a great all around lens and has a range that allows you to keep this lens on your camera all the time without the need for changing to other lenses most of time. This is the lens that I keep on my camera all the time.

Went to Best Buy Honolulu checking out the Nikon lenses and the lens was on sale at a bargain price of 1/2 off. Lens was not in stock and Best Buy was able to send the lens from the mainland. I received it in a few days and am very happy with the lens. Great all purpose lens.

I use this as my walk around lens even though I have a much better lens in my bag. There is enough zoom to get in close if I need to. I can also use the crop mode on my D7100 if I need more reach and I still get good results.

I bought this lens as a replacement for a 18-105 mm kit lens. It is sharper and has better construction (metal bayonet adapter vs. plastic). I like the versatility so that I don't have to switch lenses.

If you can only have one lens with you this lens is very versatile and great to have on a hike or a kids game of soccer. I take a lot of action pics of my boy playing soccer and the focus range is needed so I don't have to move so much. My 300mm is too much at times and I miss close up goal shots. So far I'm happy with the output.

Best lens to carry on vacation and everywhere else. I don't have to carry multiple lenses or have to switch out lenses to zoom in or for a wide angle shot. Very convenient and takes sharp pictures.

I bought this lens to replace 2 kit lenses and not need to switch lenses when I am traveling. It won't replace every lens but it does a great job for general landscape and outdoor portrait photos. It's a little heavy, but fast to focus and has a decent f range for the cost.

Very happy with my purchase of the Nikon DX 18-200 ED VR II. I is a fantastic piece of glass and a great upgrade from the two standard kit lenses. Best Buy did a wonderful job locating and ordering it for me.

We wanted a better lens that would be able to do close up and distance pictures, but not have to switch out between 2 of them. This was perfect. It was a little heavier, but worth it.

To me, this lens is the sweet spot. Great range (indoor birthday party photos to distance shots of whales off the balcony of a cruise ship. Stabilization works great. Manual zoom is smooth and holds setting until you want to adjust it.

We had the older version of this lens and it needed to be replaced due to heavy usage. There are several new features on this lens that make it even more versitile than the older version.

Bought this lens when the original 18-135mm that came with the D80 was damaged, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Worth the price!

Lens works great. It is a little large, and heavy, but worth the extra weight for not having to carry 2 lenses. Also the length of the lens blocks the built in flash for up close shots. An external flash is required to resolve this.
