I took many shoots with this Lens and my D500. this is a Fantastic DUO. The Lens is sharp, the VR is amazing and the SPORT mode hepls when the subject is moving fast. This is a MUST HAVE Lens.

The aperture size is really nice. It gives max exposure of the subject. Excellent choice for outdoor and even event photography if correct focal lengths are chosen.

This is not an everyday lens but is a powerhouse for shooting sports or just catching spontaneous shots of my kids when they are playing around awY from us.

Used primarily for wildlife and birding, this lens is the best buy for your money. 5.6 all the way through and very sharp.

I'm eagerly awaiting my trip to Canada to really test this out. It's definitely a bit heavy and I would suggest a sturdy tripod, but it's well worth it.

The quality of this lens is what one would expect from Nikon. Built solid, very precise action when handling it. Great focus.
