Absolutely love this lens. It is a high quality lens and has a high quality price. It is a bit heavier than most of my lens but it takes get photos. Still getting use to it but so far love it. It makes take good shots very easy. It is a great match for my Nikon D850.

This was an upgrade to my F-S NIKKOR 24-70mm f/2.8G ED Lens and perhaps this one is sharper for a ver unnoticeable difference the E ED VR is Just Amazing to shoot hand held and low light performance is just unbeatable... Im glad I did Got this new version and even more with US$ 500.00 off from the regular price.

Great lens, works perfectly well on full frame and crop sensor cameras. Incredibly well built. You can feel the metal When you hold it. Personally it was a bit too heavy for me to handle. Weight balance was a bit off as this lens weighed twice the weight of ny camera body.

I have been wanting to buy this lens and finally decided. I don’t regret it! Great focus, fast, strong build. A little heavy, but with the wide option at 24mm and the ability to zoom at 70mm, you won’t need to bring 3 prime lenses.

Amazing lens. Should have gotten this before the 70-200 f/2.8E. This is now my go to lens as it is fast, sharp, and perfect for low light. Cannot recommend this enough.

Took this lens on a trip to Dollywood yesterday. This is by far the best everyday lens I have have ever owned. Pictures were crystal clear and razor sharp. With the f/2.8 aperture there is enough light and depth of field for stunning portraits. Not inexpensive but highly recommended.

Fantastic lens for everyday use. Exceptional build quality, crystal clear optics, and the perfect zoom range for day to day use. While on the heavier side, the optics and build quality are worth it, especially when you can snag it on sale.

Tack sharp straight from the box. I used to rent a 24-70 mm from Borrowlenses.com when I needed to use one, but I could not pass up the sale on this phenomenal lens. The addition of vibration reduction to the previous model elevates this lens to another level. Cannot wait to get outside and shoot g with it!

Lens is a bit heavy but f/2.8 worth it. Happy to get at reduced price.

I bought this lens to use on my Nikon D850 DSLR. I was hesitant because a few reviews said it wasn't pin sharp in the middle of the picture. I have spent 2 months testing this lens in every way I can think of and IT IS pin sharp not only in the middle but to the edges, which I understand the lens it replaces was sharp in the middle but lost some toward edges. Congrats to Nikon for designing as they did. Quality build and smooth to use. It is a little heavy but I love the weight for stability when hand holding shots. Glass is heavy, it comes with the territory on a quality lens, IMO! It is a large lens and I love it. Delighted I bought it!

very happy i got this lens. I use it of street and landscape photography. super sharp but heavy. love the way it performs, if yo shoot Nikon it should in you bag period.

Every review I read about this lens stated that it was great but heavy. Well, all of those reviews were correct! I took five photographs without the VR, and one of those was not perfect (I blame the photographer). With the VR set to normal, all photographs I have taken since then have been excellent! I really like this lens, but I will probably not use it as often as prime lenses on hikes.

Upgraded from regular non VR 24-70 and wish I had done so years ago. It is a super sharp lens ! Love it

Wonderful lens. Taking my photography to another level. I was able to get it at a discounted price.

I purchased this lens to use with my Nikon D750 camera body. They work seamlessly together taking pressure off of getting ‘the shot’. Large glass has some weight but gives you and camera programs the most latitude in settings. VR helps when you cannot be as stable as you would like; not as critical on this as a long lens but a nice option to have. Provides all of the common lens lengths ( moderate wide angle to moderate telephoto ) in one package. I use it around home and carried it through Walt Disney World with family and got about all of the shots I wanted.

Nice upgrade for me to cover the range below 70mm that I am short on given the update to a new camera body. I've only taken a few photos with it so far but it seems to be very good for the range it covers

This is a big lens with good performance when mounted on a D850. Focusing is very fast. Struggles a little to get accurate focus on close subjects. I also notice some CA at the edges, but Lightroom fixes that. Landscape work is really nice. Really good for low light. Very nice results when doing focus stacking. Would be 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive.
