Easy to use the instructional disk that accompanied the camera answered most of my initial questions, I was taking quality photos in no time.

I like the camera so far even though it is a little bit overprice after I submitted the order. The Nikon D5300 is a perfect intro camera for beginner to learn about DSLR. The camera bag is a plus in the bundle and it can store lots of things including an iPad. I will definitely recommend this camera bundle.

I have always had an interest in Photography as a hobby but never owned more than a point and shoot camera. I just recently bought a drone and got into filming and taking pictures. I also got into editing the pictures and have found a renewed interest in photography. I decided I wanted to buy a nice camera to supplement my aerial photos. I did a lot of research and talked with my friend who got a nice camera last year. He bought a Nikon which I never even thought of. I have always thought of Canon when thinking of a nice camera. Boy was I wrong. Don't get me wrong the Canon's are great but they are over priced for what you get. With any of the Nikon's you get way more for your money. I decided on the D5300 because I wanted the added features of the flip screen, GPS and Wifi. The only thing it does not have that I thought I wanted was a touch screen, but once you get used to not having it it is just great. Also after using the camera I think it might be a problem as I have a tendency to hit the screen with my nose when using the view finder so not sure what that would do with a touch screen. This camera has so many features that I am still learning what all it does. I do recommend shooting with the kit lens for a while and decide what type of shooting you will be doing before buying another lens, then buy one for your style shooting. Thanks for reading my review.

I love the quality, configuability and flexibility of this camera. The auto sensor is great for beginners, and it offers full manual, program, shutter speed and aperture priority modes for the more sophisticated user. As a Nikon, there's a large community online offering support and tutorials.

I really love this camera. My exchange student has one so I got to use it extensively before I purchased mine, and it is a great purchase. I really love that it does not have a touch screen because they drive me a little crazy.

The camera is easy to use and the photographs come out great. Many settings to choose from. The wifi is a bit tricky though, hooked up to my cell phone OK but am still having a problem connecting it to my computer wirelessly.

So I have now owned this camera for 2 years. It has been amazing every step of the way. It has held up to traveling all over and my general clumsiness. It was my first DSLR and it was a breeze to figure out how to work it. I'm not a professional by any means but I do love photography. I get compliments from a lot of photographers I know on my picture quality. They usually aren't surprised when I tell them what camera I use, it has a good reputation. I've even dropped it on it's lens and it held up perfectly and still takes perfect photos. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to buy it.

For my first dslr camera purchase, I'm very impressed. A little pricey but worth it with all that it can do. Love all the features and can't believe what it can do. So far so good, and still learning of what it's capable of doing.

I am really enjoying my new Nikon camera. It takes great pictures and has lots of options. I am glad I got the D5300 instead of the D5200 because of the option to pull out the monitor and rotate it at different angles. It really makes a difference when trying to take a difficult shot.

Very happy with this camera. Very easy to use with auto options, but can also be set to manual mode to experiment. The only feature I wish the camera had was the ability to assist in creating panoramic photos.

I have been an avid Sony Camera user for about 10 years. I switched to this Nikon DSLR because it had all the features I had grown used to in the Sony. This camera is so much nicer. It takes the best sports shots I have ever taken! The only thing I have found hard to get used to is the delay it has when taking a picture using the screen. I used to take all my pictures that way and the Nikon really makes you use the view finder because of the delay using the screen.

I owned the D5100 and needed a second camera for projects I was working on. The menus took a little bit of getting use to. But I have been using for a little while now and love the pictures it takes. Even with the kit lens the picture are clear and crisp.

After much reviewing I bought this camera, over using my moms D3200. Took this camera to Germany. Blown away by the photos. So happy with my purchase. The options on this camera are great. And make this worth buying. The D5500 is almost a step back.

I'm very surprise of the quality of picture and response of this camera. A lot of people don't know that this camera actually has equal sensor as the Nikon D7100 yes the D7100 Has Way higher megapixels and higher price tag but I'm very happy with this D5300. The wifi makes it so easy to transfer pics to any device. I highly recommend the Nikon D5300. I recommend the camera body but I don't recommend 18 - 55 mm lens that comes with in most kits. I use mine with an 18 - 105 from my previous camera with the 67 mm filter size and it's way way better. I hope this helps make your decision.

This is the second professional grade camera I have purchased. The last one I had and still own was a film camera. I enjoy this camera because it takes amazing photos. The screen also makes it easy to make sure you get the perfect shot.
