The camera takes great pictures, fairly easy to use, the bundle was a good buy. Only negative is having to change the lense to get a telephoto picture, that lense is purchased separately and is pricey.

The kit with two lenses is a great value. The camera is lightweight and user friendly. There are a lot of settings that can take amazing quality photos, but the beginner settings also take good photos too.

Only videos for just under 10 minutes at a time. Focus goes in and out too much, poor audio. As a camera it is fantastic. Only thing I don't care for is the flash.

I love this camera!!! I'm an amateur photographer and have used exclusively Canon cameras in the past. Nikon has blown my mind with the quality of pictures and how lightweight and compact this camera is. Great for whatever your trying to shoot. Almost no editing required.

I was looking for an upgrade camera from my iPhone 11Pro. The last SRL camera I had was a Canon AE1 years ago. This Nikon D5600 was a reasonable choice to introduce me to the DSRL capabilities. This Nikon kit with two lens made it a reasonable price point. With the aid of YouTube, I’m learning all the features and trying to utilize them. It’s a lot to absorb. Personal guidance from a friend with a similar camera also helped. I took the camera on vacation within a week of buying. I fumbled but got some nice photos including a shot of a California condor, that was good enough to verify my sighting. I’m an artist who wanted a camera for photographing landscapes, wildlife and birds that could also be used as reference for future paintings. Overall, it’s a good starter DSRL, price wise, with features that range from automatic to complete manual for personal creativity.

Super fine picture quality, light weight, easy to use. Touch screen with vari-angle monitor is very convenient. Highly recommended.

Hi - the camera is super-easy to use on auto and takes great pictures right out of the box, even before mastering all the other considerable options. I ended up buying the “Nikon D5600 for Dummies” to walk me through all the choices, and it was worth it. The camera does incorporate lots of instant “help” buttons for all features, which are extremely helpful. I haven’t bought a new camera in a decade (before lots of the technical enhancements were incorporated), and this was a great selection for me. I’m very happy with it.

I was sold on this camera when I saw how easy it was to get the pics on my phone using Bluetooth instead of wi-fi. The ability to choose different scenes easily is a great feature for someone like myself with no experience!

The NIKON D5600 offers so many options for photo taking. In addition the user friendly touch screen simplifies the photo process. I love the fact how much natural light the camera lenses takes in especially in dark rooms or settings. It brightens up a photo automatically. The 2 lenses that came with the kit provides versatility for regular settings and the long range zoom lens provides exceptional zoom. The battery provides a long time frame of a charge. Also the charger provides about 1 1/2 hours to fully charge the battery. I found this camera to be a great quality camera from how you hold the camera to the quality of photos. Great job NIKON!!

Great camera easy to use, takes amazing pictures. Best of both worlds with the two lenses. The LCD touchscreen makes it super easy to change the aperture, f stop and shutter speeds.

I love everything about this camera. The set came with two lenses that are great to get you started. It is not very heavy and I connect two different RODE external mics to it.

Have not use it much but I like it. I want to start taking fotography clases and it is a great camera for a stater, even for knowledgable users. Not a pro camera but great

Light weight and compact for travel. Easy to use. The tele zoom in the kit does not have vibration reduction. Even with the cheap tele zoom price on the package was good.

This is my first DSLR and my first Nikon. I purchased it to take nature and birding pics and this will not disappoint. The first time I took it out, I was amongst all these pros with large lenses that required tripods and I took amazing shots that was shared and posted online by several orgs. I have since watched some online videos for more info and there are a ton of tutorials for this camera. I'd recommend it for beginners because you'll ramp up fast and will want to add lenses and have features to take pics like the pros. This does that. So seriously easy with its out the box auto features. You'll get fancier with the other features but this captures nature so well, way better than any mobile phone and the included 70-300mm lens captures those birds up in trees. The shutter speed also allows catching those crisp action shots, it just takes some practice. You will not be disappointed. Just keep taking pics and learning the settings and in no time, you'll be wanting to decorate your home with the pics you took. You won't regret this purchase.

I bought this camera to replace my dated D5100. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of pictures I have been getting, along with the lens selections. The built in flash seems only good for very close pictures, but I already have a speedlite, so that wasn't a concern. I also love the SnapBridge app, as we can see the pictures just moments after taking them online ready to be uploaded to other apps. It does have a more "plasticy" feel, but I am certainly willing to live with that as it is also much lighter than my old 5100. For my hobbiest needs (take around 500 pics / month), it fulfills all my needs and exceeds expectations. A great value.

I love this Camera. I've heard it referenced as a good beginner Camera from people who want to justify spending $2-3000.00 dollars on their Camera. Well, if you want to spend that much money, to feel good about yourself, be my guest. My D5600 takes outstanding photo's, with such clarity and beauty that I really don't need to do much editing. Several photo's I took in New Orleans were so beautiful they are being printed to hang in my home and office. If you are looking for a feature packed Camera that is easy enough for a beginner, but has the chops to play with the big boys. This Camera, once you learn everything it can do, will give you the ability to take professional photos that you will be proud to show and display. You can't go wrong with the Nikon D5600 DSLR

Bought this camera for my 12 yr old granddaughter for Christmas. She used the same model when she went to visit her aunt out of state a few months before. She handled it very well and I decided to get her her own. She always loved to take pictures with her phone and make videos. Now she certainly moved up in the world of photography. She had set up the tripod (does not come with the camera) and was taking amazing pictures of the family on Christmas Day! It didn't take her long to learn the basics. We live near Disney and she takes the camera with her every time she goes with her mom. The pictures that she takes are incredible. She is constantly experimenting and learning more and more. A great investment.
