The mount fit easily and smoothly on my Nikon Z6 with my fx lens from my older DSLR. The mount itself is not as heavy as it may look.

Allows you to use your DSLR F mount Nikon lenses on you Z mount Nikon body. Be aware that not all lenses will work with all features- mainly auto focus on older models may not work. Lenses made in last 10 years seem to be ok. Check nikon USA website for compatibility list. Given what new lenses cost even if you can only use a couple of older lenses it’s probably worth the money.

This product fits perfectly and has a tripod mount on the bottom for a more balanced mount. It doesn’t have any glass, which is what I thought it would have. Instead it is just open so the sensor gets directly to the lens. That means no cleaning! It comes with a cap on both ends. It’s perfect if you don’t want to fork over cash in Z mount lenses just yet.

If you have been shooting Nikon for a while and got a few Full Frame F-Mount lenses, the best thing you can do is buy this adapter. The In-Body stabilization of the Z system works great with your Non VR lenses when using this adapter. Also will save you a lot of money since almost all your old lenses will work perfectly

I bought this so that I can mount my 24-70 f2.8 Tamron and it works really well. I'll admit it's overpriced but the money I saved buying a third party lens than the Nikkor zoom makes up for it. The electronic pins make it so the autofocus works well. This opens up the rest of the f mount lenses.

The FTZ Mount Adapter is a must if you plan on using any of your DX lenses. I paired it up with the DX 18-140 and was surprised by how well it worked. The focus was good and I saw little hunting if any. Make sure you have the latest firmware for the Z50 and the FTZ adapter.

Yes, it works with a Z camera. I used it with one AF and another AF-S lens. AF-S lens auto focus is good. I did not notice lag at all but with AF lens it is not auto focus, you have to do manual focus because the adapter does not have a drive so the MF.

If you have F-mount Nikon lenses and you want to use them on your Z-mount body, you have to pick one of these up. For most of my lenses, it works fine. No real loss of speed using modern glass with my Z6ii. Knocked one star because it does not have the parts to make it screw drive. So, any of the older lenses of Nikon will not autofocus. You can use them, but only in manual focus mode (but will auto-meter). Wish Nikon would have had a version with screw drive for some of my older lenses, but what can you do?

Have never been a fan of interface adapters and prefer actual direct connect products, specially when it comes to electronic equipment. I must however state that Nikon's FTZ mount adapter is one solidly made product which (once installed), it looks and feels like it is part of the camera body. Well Done!

Works great and does what it’s supposed to. Allows you to use F mount lenses on Z mount camera. It’s a little clunky not too bad. Would be nice if Nikon could make a more compact version but with the z mount having a large flange compared to f mount that may not be feasible. I would rather have the large flange z lenses anyway. Also, won’t AF screw type lenses. Not a huge deal. But the price is really too high without package discount. $99 should be the normal price not $249.

The adapter appears to work well. It does add a little weight. I have used it mostly with my Tokina Macro and autofocus does not work with it but with Macro, you are typically manually focusing. Would have been nice if it had worked. It has something to do with that lens as most other Tokina's work.

You can't have a Nikon Z camera without the FTZ adapter if you have F mount lenses. All of my previous lenses work on my Nikon Z50 by using the FTZ adapter. If you are thinking of going mirrorless buy the FTZ at the same time for a reduced price.

As an owner of multiple F-mount lenses, this is a must have if moving to the Z-mount until the older lenses can be upgraded. It’s smaller than it looks, and works flawlessly. It would be nice if it had the focus drive pin. Great deal when purchased in a combo with a body.
