The FTZ adapter allows for smooth integration of my Nikon F mount lenses on my Nikon Z6. This allows flexibility and opens up the range of possibilities for my photography using the capabilities of my Z6 with a large set of available F Mount lenses as well as my Z Lenses.

This adapter is a money saver! I’ve recently upgraded to a Z camera and was worried I would lose out on the experience with my old lenses, but this is a life saver. A must if you’ve already spent any money on DSLR lenses.

I havent tested 3rd party lenses, but so far with native everything works perfect. Its just heavy compared to other adapters. But i guess that means quality. Got it for $49 as part of the promotion. Full price i would just look into Z Lenses.

I was worried about having to buy new lenses when I bought the new Z6, but this adapter allows me to use all of my old lenses with my new camera! The quality is still stunning. I'm so happy I did not have to buy a whole new set of lenses.

Z mount lenses are expensive. This makes it so I can use my z50 with waaaaayyyy better glass than the kit lenses. That’s why I just bought the body and this. No reason to buy lenses that aren’t going to suit my uses and I already have the fmounts.

Works very well with my F-mount lenses, both the Nikkor and my Sigma lenses. I intend to keep my Nikon D-850 since I know that camera well but looking forward to using my lenses on my new Z7II as well. Like the versatility!

Very easy to use and allows you to use your DSLR lenses with no loss of function IF it's an AF-S lens. Note that some older lenses will be manual focus only with this adapter. Definitely check compatibility if you have older lenses.

Absolutely love it. If it weren’t for this converter, I would have to purchase all new lenses for this camera. I’m able to use my previous lenses from my DSLR for my new Z Camera

This is a must have while Nikon launches their Z lens line. Excellent that eye af still works with dslr lenses and also stabilization. Remember only af-s lenses will auto focus with this adapter. Others are useable but will not auto focus.

After a fury of firmware updating, my other lenses work well on the z6 body. I would only buy this ftz to use past lenses. For new lenses, personally, im gettin Z mount S lenses.
I’m basing my value rating on the full retail cost.

It works, but the bump at the bottom is odd...

This adapter works to use older F mount glass with Z mount cameras with one caveat - the lens must have its own built-in focus motor. This means AF-D glass and earlier is manual focus only on this adapter.
Honestly, I'm not sure I get the bump at the bottom either. Canon is able to pull of adapters without this odd bump. Why not Nikon? The bump can interfere with certain tripod mounts.

The adapter allowed me to use my lenses from my DSLR on my new mirrorless Nikon. If you buy the adapter when you purchase the camera body it's discounted quite a bit. All my lenses fit perfectly.

Does what is supposed to do. Easy to use F mount lens on Z mirorless body. Auto focus works well with Nikon lenses. Don't pay full price if you can get at discount price with a camera body.

The adapter arrived in excellent shape and in packaging that I'm sure would've kept it safe even if it was tossed a bit. Can't complain, does what it advertises. If anything, the shape of it can be a little obtrusive, but not the worst thing if you absolutely want to use any F lenses.

The FTX mount with AF-P 70-300mm zoom worked flawlessly, very sharp and the VR when photographing birds from boat was amazing. Value rating based on the package discount.

This adapter lets you put hundreds of Nikon F lenses on the new Z6 and Z7 cameras. You don't lose any functionality on the more modern lenses (anything built in the last 20 years mostly). You can use many other older lenses, but not with autofocus. You can't use the old lenses that used the coupler on top of the lens to transfer exposure information mechanically unless they are modified to be AI-S. (You won't likely want them anyway). Lenses made by other companies are hit-or-miss with all functionality. Absolutely get this if you're going to get into the Z system. And buy it with the body and save $100.

Needed for use of F lenses on Z mount.

Not much to say about this adapter. You need it to use your F mount lenses on your Z mount camera bodies. It's a little expensive but you seem to catch a break if you get it WITH a new Z body. Not sure how long this will be an option, but don't hesitate. You can always sell it later, probably for more than you paid.
The mount itself is very nicely tight fitting. In my experiences, the F mount always seemed to have some play no matter what body or lens I've used. The Z mount seems to have eliminated that and it's pleasing to feel that tight connection being made with this very expensive gear. It's light and almost unnoticeable when attached.

Allows me to use my older F mount lenses with my Z50. Autofocus works perfectly, adds a little length to your lens but it's not bad. Definitely worth it if you have a couple old lenses you love.

The Nikon Z is great. this is a must if you're coming from a Nikon DSLR. Allows you to use MOST Nikon F mount lenses. Some 3rd party lenses may not function properly so best to look them up before using them.
