For my new Nikon Z5, I wanted a lens to accomplish several goals. I knew compromise was needed on speed but the ISO flexibility of this camera and high resolution should work out fine for what I intend to photograph. Reviews I have seen are excellent, though not an S lens, and the VR stabilization of Nikon lenses has never disappointed me.

It is more useful than 24-70mm. It is hard to distinguish the difference between the two. The extra 200mm can help me to catch the subject closer. For the casual travel photos I am really satisfied with ability of the zoom. It is on my Z6. I think I will use this more than 24-70mm f/4. There is some shaken images at 200mm closeups. Overall it is far better than I expected. Great value forvthe price.

Great travel lens. This is so fun to use. After using a 24-70mm on a beach vacation, I realized I needed a longer lens. No way I'm bringing my f/2.8 's to the beach. I use this on a Z6II. I also recommend the Z 40mm f2 in case you need something for low light. All fits great in my PeakDesign 5L Sling

NIKON NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 C Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2023 This is my lens of choice for my Nikon Z6ii camera. It has the reach for most shooting and wide enough for buildings and scenery. The lens is sharp enough for all my shots. I also own a Nikon 300, F/r prime lens that is sharper but use that for birding, and off-raod races where I like to say further away from the track, and the dust
