I've used all types of cameras and while I've had good and bad experiences with many types, Nikon hit a home run with the Z30. The camera is super easy to set up and use, picture and video quality is superb, and the package gives me plenty of options with distance. I use this for high school sports videography, and it is steady both on and off a gimbal.

I bought this camera as it was recommended to me by a sales associate that also takes professional photos in his spare time. The camera is easy to use and if you have any difficulties there are several videos on YouTube with a step by step guide on how to use this particular camera. It has a long battery life and is easy and light to pack on the go. Would definitely recommend this camera for new photographers as well :)

Battery drains very quickly (after taking 100 HD snapshot). Brightness and contrast in display unit is not auto adjusted under the sun. Very difficult to use that unit under the bright sun light. Kit lens are poor quality. Specially the smaller one. In low light or indoor with low light, image quality drastically decreases and pixelated.

I REALLY really like this camera. I bought it in 9/2022 and it’s now 1/2024 and I use it to shoot my kids activities. Wrestling, gymnastics, theater, baseball and soccer. I also take a ton of video. It’s not a purchase I regret. Even with the steep price.

lightweight camera, easy to handle and use. comes with 2 good lenses.

The only thing I disliked is the Telephoto lense. How it shakes something moves when that happends. But other than that the camera has Great quality and shutter speed. I shoot with mailbly sports so its so great for that

Great camera. Images are sharp and colorful. The menu is familiar if you’ve used Nikon before. My only gripe is the lack of a viewfinder, it can be difficult to frame a shot in bright light.

Bought this camera for my wife as she likes making video. It works fine and I was surprised at how well the pictures were.
