Really happy with this camera so far. The photos come out super sharp and the colors look great straight out of the camera. The autofocus is fast and accurate — it locks on to faces, eyes, and even pets really well, which makes it easy to get good shots without a lot of effort.
The camera is light and easy to carry around, which makes it perfect for travel or just everyday use. The flip screen is really handy for selfies or shooting at weird angles, and I like that it charges over USB-C.
A couple downsides: the battery doesn’t last super long, so a backup is almost a must if you’re out for the day. There’s also no built-in stabilization, so you’ll get the best results with stabilized lenses or when shooting in good light.
Overall though, I think it’s an awesome camera for the price. Great option if you want something better than your phone but don’t want to spend full-frame money.

It takes really good pictures but battery does not last very long. I mainly take sports photos but this camera unlike my canon, does not have an in motion/sports feature.

I needed an upgrade from my DSLR camera but was hesitant to purchase a mirrorless camera. It's so great! It's faster and produces much crisper images. Love, Love, Love! I also love the wireless transfer feature. So many great things about this camera.

Absolutely Love this camera. The photo settings can have you lost but the good side is Nikon has plenty of YouTube videos introducing all the features it has to offer. I would recommend getting a shutter controller for manual focus images. Nikon always makes great quality images. The Battery is much thicker and lasts longer. Would also recommend buy a standalone battery dock.

This is my 4th Nikon over a number of years. Some parts are different, so I had to read directions. However, it takes great pictures and is easy to use.

This was my first mirrorless camera purchase. Very happy with the camera and 2 kit lenses that came with it. The camera itself it’s pretty user friendly and takes great pictures with the kit lenses. There’s plenty of room to grow with this kit as you become more experienced, but it’s a great start for a beginner like me!

I’m fairly new to photography and this is my first mirrorless camera. I have to say that I am very pleased with what I have done with this camera although I’m still learning. The photos are crisp and clear and the 4K video is astonishing. I wasnt too sure about the price but if you want great photos, you have to pay for them. I would definitely recommend this camera. I am very pleased with it so far.

I bought my first Nikon SLR as a teenager around 1965, since then I have purchased at least one new Nikon camera body (and a few lenses) every year, to keep up with new developments and my own personal needs. This year I bought the Nikon Z 50 II and am more than happy to report, that it was the best possible choice for me at this time. I now look forward to purchasing a number higher end lenses that have been announced, for a new generation of Nikon ZX camera bodies.

The Nikon Z50 II is a well-rounded, budget-friendly mirrorless camera that balances portability with modern performance. It’s best suited for enthusiasts, travelers, and content creators who want strong stills and video without investing in full-frame gear. If you’re coming from an older DSLR like the Nikon D50, this feels like a massive upgrade in speed, connectivity, and creative flexibility.

This is the best camera I have ever owned and it is so easy to use. The main reason I got it was to take pictures at my grandsons football games and it is perfect.
