SO after much research and pursuit of the elusive "perfect rig" I've found that picking the right pieces isn't easy. When selecting home theatre amplification understanding that all watts aren't created equally is critical. I have a Denon AVR-3300. It's a premium yet entry level when tapping into "audiophile" quality. Adding power like the Niles allowed my speakers to open up and breathe properly. At 100x 2 for 8 ohm load the amp isn't much different than the internal amp but it performs and delivers a much more impressive sound stage. The Niles can deliver more perceived volume but also much more dynamic sound. because of if being a discrete amp that isn't pulling multiple duties it does it's job much more efficiently.
The niles amp is able to take the processing of whatever pre-amp it's paired with and deliver an ultra clean and articulate sound that most audiophiles will be completely happy with. My Bowers and Wilkins S2 683 towers sound better than ever. They are now pushed with full and clenr power that makes music and movies sound rich and open like they should. I couldn't believe that my towers sounded like my subwoofer was present when it was bypassed. The Niles won't make your bad speakers sound amazing but they will make your good speakers that perform well now sound Great! Highly recommended.
