This thing is awesome! The sound is good, not great, so don’t expect hi-fi sound. It works exactly as advertised; makes your Echo Dot sound better and portable. I like having the ability to move the Echo Dot around. Listening to an audiobook while cooking dinner or music while sitting on the porch, etc. all while having Alexa available. For the price it’s a great addition.

I love the sound this produces and to be able to move my dot around and keep it powered up is fantastic. Connects easily to the Dot.

I purchased this as a gift for my mother on her birthday as a way she could enjoy her echo dot outside. She loves sitting on her deck during the summertime, and this speaker enables to enjoy the tunes from Amazon music wherever she wants! The sound is an excellent upgrade to the Dot's tiny speaker.

If your looking to get a little more out of your echo dot this speaker is great. It looks awesome and the sound quality is fantastic as well. I have 3 of these once for each dot and I now have whole house music since I can sync Alexa to play on all dots and now with these speakers it sounds great.

I opened and setup it up with no issues. It looks and works great. Not sure if parents I got it for will use it portable but watching the connection port. I heard rumors about the cord connection getting wear and tear from unplugging it a lot but might not be issue if not moved.

I have one and bought an extra for my parent's Echo! It is great to not have to keep it always plugged in and the battery lasts a few days, even if you keep turning it on/off alot.

One of the drawbacks of the 2nd Generation Echo DOT was its poor Audio from a Weak Speaker. It was really noticeable when I got a 3rd Generation. This Product gives the 2nd Gen DOT much Fuller and Louder Audio. I wish I bought it sooner.

I have enjoyed using this with my echo dot on the patio. That being said, the sound is not great. It can get loud, just no bass at all. The battery life is also short, maybe 3 hours...maybe. I do leave it plugged in mostly. So, I guess I could just plug my dot in outside and connect it to my UE Boom for an all nighter with plenty of bass and depth. If you only need it for 3 hours, you don't mind subpar sound, and you are paying full price, look elsewhere.

The perfect companion to the Echo. Bought multiple Echos during a sale, now completing the set-ups with these speakers. The sound is great, much better than expected. Will buy again, especially on sale.

I didnt believe the sound of this speaker once I connected the Echo Dot. Pretty amazing. I can connect other devices too and it works perfect with any device using a 3.5mm jack. Recommended.

The VAUX speaker was really one of the first of its kind. I could not find other speakers that could cradle the Echo Dot, and many online reviews pointed to this as an alternative. Since then, many have copied it's looks and functionality. For that reason, I say it's a good product but not Excellent. I knew the sound quality wouldn't be as good as some of the newer speakers now, but it looks great, sounds decent, and the charging capability is an added bonus.

Very, very good speaker for alexa. Now I think it's discontinued but it was a good product.

I bought this to compliment my amazon echo dot in my large livingroom and it works perfectly. The sound is clear with just enough bass to sound amazing. I would highly recommend!

This speaker is really remarkable in the way it takes the smaller Dot and turns it in to a Echo. The Dot fits in to the Vaux like it belongs. The sound is very good as well.

The sound was great. The price was right. The best thing is you can take the Echo Dot out to the patio.

The sound quality is nice and loud with the attached echo, but everytime its connected and turned on the speaker makes a popping sound. Also, I dont know if this is due to the speaker or not but for some reason the drop-in feature does not consistently work with the echo attached to this speaker, but all the others work fine in the house.

I have this in the family room. Good for listening to music or just simply asking alexa a question. Kids love it!

Works better than I expected the sound was very good and clear I would buy another one for a gift to give to my daughters

What a difference this makes the Echo Dot sound. Get one. It sounds much better and louder than without one.
