All in all a very nice coffee maker. There are 2 reasons why i enjoy this maker. Sturdy and design.
The maker is sturdy. At a glance it seems a little compact but after looking closer it is actually a pretty thought out design. One thing that annoys be with coffee makers is that the actual peculating device (pump) inside is somewhat cheaply made, I didn't think that was the case with this maker, it actually seems to be a quality build.
Secondly, the design. I think having a completely clear water reservoir is a cool touch. I have never seen this before. It usually has that transparent "guess" line. This reservoir leave no guess to the actual amount of water that is in the storage. I think this feature plays into why i am gaining more and more trust for this brand.
All is very thought out about this sturdy futuristic coffee maker.

I have had this coffee maker for 7 months now. We clean it everyday and do a deep cleaning with vinegar when needed. My main issue is the reservoir which is ironic because I initially bought it hoping the reservoir would be simple to clean unlike like my previous coffee makers. However, as time passed I saw that although we clean the reservoir everyday the bottom part does not get cleaned even with a deep clean there's just no getting into that area and cleaning it as much as I've tried nothing gets that area clean. I'll include pictures so that anyone reading my review can see what I am talking about.
In my opinion this coffee maker is not worth the money and stress. I used to like the ninja products now I do not. I had a ninja blender and thought the coffee maker would be a nice addition but even the blender has run it's course. I'm thinking of investing in a Keurig.

This is a quiet and fast coffee maker and will take a #4 paper filter with ease. A paper filter (not included) allows for the easy removal of coffee grounds and transfer to the garbage can. You can use the included gold tone metal filter as desired that works as advertised.
Timer works but I mainly use the manual options. Unit has lighted display buttons to tell you what the pot is doing at all times.
Brewing coil does not shut off until the drop of water is forced out of the chamber.
The warmer off feature is nice so you can walk away from the pot and never worry about it being on.
The removable coffee reservoir is a game changer. I can go VFR direct to the refrigerator filtered water dispenser and fill it to the 10 cup point, If you have a taller dispenser you fill will vary. To fill mine to 12 cups I needed to manually add two cups.
There are no cup markers on the carafe.
The carafe does not leak when pouring. First pot that has not leaked for any brand.
All parts to this product are sturdy and well built and were a welcome replacement to my $14 coffee maker.
At the advertised price point this is worth the few extra dollars to get a unit that is not messy and user friendly.
Excellent product.

If your tired of your old coffee pot and don’t want to get a single cup coffee maker this is the coffee maker for you. It brings the new features of a single cup coffee maker to your old pot and then some. The best features I like are the carafe is heated which you don’t always get with other brands. You also don’t need to fill up the carafe any more and dump it in the back this machine allows you to remove the water tank fill it up and attach it back to the machine. If you really want you can still fill up the carafe and dump it into the tank but the new way let’s you save time and less chances of water spillage. The option of selecting a smaller batch is cool but you could do that with your old system by just dumping how much water you wanted. Your standard timer is provided and easy to use and a feature my single cup brewer will never have. I wouldn’t switch from my single cup machine but this is a good machine for the weekends for when I want more than one cup or company comes over. I included pictures of the exterior so you can see all the features and options. Way too many to list.

Well-designed, simple to use, decent price. Coffee comes out almost as good as an individual pour-over. Only drawback is no control over the time the warming plate stays on.

Because the best place in our kitchen for a coffee make is under an upper cabinet, it would be difficult to fill the water reservoir if it wasn't removable. This model makes it very easy. In addition, the controls are clear and let me set up the night before so coffee is ready in the morning.
This is the second maker of this model for us. The first one stopped working when the internal wiring apparently melted after three years of use. I hope this one lasts longer.

Even brewing, timer is useful, metal filter saves money, heater doesn’t cool coffee, and detachable water tank make it useful. Better than an ultra cheap model, and a solid performing maker with some frills, but not too many. Built in spoon holder is very nice it comes apart easily to ensure a good cleaning.

My grandmother loves to drink coffee. She has it several times throughout the day and into the evening. For quite some time, she has been using a single-serve coffee pot and we decided to give her an upgraded system for the holidays this year. Since she drinks coffee multiple times per day, we wanted her to have a full size coffee pot and since we have used other Ninja products, we thought this 12-cup coffee maker would be a good investment for her long-term use.
This coffee maker is easy to use. There are easy to read labels on it and it’s fairly self-explanatory. I really like that all the components — including the filter — are washable. There are several brewing modes, which comes in handy since the members of our family all like their coffee just a little different. The small batch setting will work very nicely for my grandma as it will make 1-4 cups of coffee (approximately 1-2 large cups) which is perfect for her uses.
This coffee maker has a sleek, attractive design and it’s very sturdy. I love that this is easy to use since my grandma appreciates technology, but doesn’t always understand how it works. I like that this is a high quality coffee maker at an affordable price. I would recommend this to others.

We've been using this coffee maker for about a month and we really like it, but there are a few improvements that could make it better.
Some of the things we love about the product are:
- Easy to setup
- Cleaning is very easy and parts can easily fit in dishwasher
- Doesn't need paper filters
- Stays hot for up to four hours
Things that could be improved:
- If you fill to 12 cups, it is right to the brim so you have to be careful not to spill
- Not 1-button start, need to turn on and hit start
- Would be nice to have backlit buttons
None of the items above are show-stoppers, or even major annoyances, but little things that could improve it in the future. The timer works as expected to have a hot cup of joe ready in the morning.
Overall, we like the Ninja Coffee Maker and would recommend it to others.

Coffee Lover Tests Ninja

The Ninja Coffee Brewer can brew coffee using a permanent filter or a #4 paper filter. I first sampled coffee by placing a paper filter in first and selecting Classic Brew. The coffee came out good but had a bitter taste. I then decided to Brew coffee with the permanent filter and selected the Rich setting. The coffee had no bitter taste and tasted smooth. My family and I all agreed that we enjoyed the Rich setting better than the paper filter setting. I am a coffee lover and could drink the coffee in either setting. But if you like a smooth flavor to your coffee, I recommend the Rich setting. The coffee takes about 12 to 15 minutes to brew.
My favorite parts of the coffee brewer are:
1) the measuring spoon attaches to the coffee maker
2) the ability to set the time I want the coffee to brew,
3) having options of what type the type of coffee I would like for example (classic or rich brew)
4) being able to set the timer off when I want the coffee maker to start brewing the coffee
5) the ability to pull the carafe off the coffee maker in mid-brew
6) the fact the coffee brewer will turn off after it has been left on for an extended time. This helps me greatly as I live with elderly family in the house who sometimes forgets to power the machine off.
When filling the water reservoir, I would prefer glass instead of the container being made of plastic because it makes me wonder if the measurement of the cups will eventually come off. Other than that, I like the product. It gets the job done!

This is a great coffee maker. It makes an excellent cup of coffee (noticably better than my previous coffee pot). I also love that it comes with a scoop for scooping the right amount of coffee and love the delay brew feature and the different levels of brew strength. Highly recommend!

We purchased the Ninja coffee 12 cup brewer due to our other drip coffee maker failing again (twice in two years). My wife and I LOVE the design on this Ninja. Very easy to refill with water, The carafe DOES NOT drip like others when pouring. We just wished Best Buy had the 14 cup model.

Easy and logical to operate. Keeps coffee hot. Removable water reservoir makes it easy to fill. Fits under my cabinets and doesn't take up too much counter space. And oh, by the way, it makes great coffee if you use great coffee grounds!

Makes coffee like a dream. I have been using the delay brew option lately and its nice waking up to the smell of coffee. Brews perfectly, zero issues. Easy to clean. Reusable basket or takes filters. Large capacity water, makes enough coffee for a few people. I would definitely recommend if you need a new coffee maker.

I expected better from Ninja and the price point. The upsides to this brewer, IMO, is the included scooper which is long, and doesn’t allow for an excess of grounds but is precise. Additionally, the removable water tank is a must for me. Programming is straight forward, and intuitive aside from the power button which isn’t as simple as just a switch that allows or disallows electrical current.
What I don’t like is the lid because it has a stem requiring a straw brush if you want to hand wash. 12 cups is really pushing it as I did get some overflow from the strainer.
Overall, it does the job but after using, I wouldn’t pay more than $50 as this is a basic coffee brewer.
