A top-notch coffee maker. Easy to use, easy to program, and makes very tasty coffee. Open and removable water reservoir is a big plus. I took a chance on this, replacing my old Cuisinart pot that had lasted forever. So far, it has proven to be a good decision.

After many years of service, our old coffee maker had stopped brewing. My wife and I needed a solution, and quick as I am a monster without my morning coffee. After a panicked search, we saw that the Ninja coffee maker had good reviews. We already own the blender and figured it would be nice to have a matching set of small kitchen appliances. I am so freaking happy we bought this! The Ninja 12-Cup Coffee Maker exceeded our initial expectations. While unboxing we learned more and more about the attention to detail Ninja has implemented into the brewing process.
The water reservoir is detachable while makes filling with water in the mornings a smooth process. No spills from pouring water from your pot into the water reservoir. The coffee strainer is reusable which we love as we are conscious of our environmental impact. If you purchase reground coffee the scooper has a built-in mounting point so you don't have to sleepily fumble around the kitchen to find your precious scooper.
The coffee maker itself feels weighted and the stainless steel makes it look elegant. That isn't the only elegant part of this machine. The coffee maker also has a delay brew feature. This has made my life easier as I no longer have to brave the dark cold house to make my morning coffee.
I am not sure if my friends and family have taken our advice about this coffee maker, but we have certainly told all our friends about this new amazing part of our lives.

Love this coffee maker - the removable tank for the water is very handy to fill with filtered water from my refrigerator. Using the filtered water reduces the frequency of having to clean the unit. I would recommend including the Geek Squad protection - we have used it a couple of times with this product as the product seems to fail within months of the warranty expiring.

Makes excellent coffee as a very easy to use clean cycle I run once a week keeps the coffee tasting great and brewing fast.
It's also awesome to have the removable water filling tank instead of filling the crafe and pouring it into the coffee maker making a mess.

Makes good coffee but is slow at making it. I hate pouring water in the back of a machine it always makes a mess so to have a separate water reservoir is awesome. It’s super easy to set up and set a timer for morning and an option for a smaller batch and - measuring spoon included and can program how long it stays warm up to 4 hours.

I love this coffee maker best I’ve ever owned. (CE251) been using over 3 weeks now I discovered when I filled to 12 cup line it was a little harder to raise up into position to slide down into position. Not a problem for less water levels, I found that filling the carafe full and pour into reservoir for 12 cups is best less wear and tear on the seals, after I make my coffee I take the lid off reservoir to dry out. The carafe has a wide pour spout I haven’t spilt a drop of coffee yet. I love the option to keep my pot hot up to 4 hours, coffee tastes great (rich brew) it’s very easy to use just read the manual. This maker is only hot brew no cold brew feature. Some 12 cup coffee makers are only 50 oz. this is gives 60 oz. I highly recommend this model CE251.

Have had several coffee maker brands in my life, this is by far the most favorite. The design is a well thought out product that is very easy to use, and way less mess and easy clean up then any other brands we have had.. Love it and so happy when our coffee is ready.. Makes a smooth tasting rich coffee!! Love it!!!
I would recommend this to a friend

I've had this Ninja coffee maker for 2 months and I love it. Brews the hottest coffee I've had except for coffee shops! The water tank is easy to access and easy to see when pouring water in. This is the first carafe I've ever had that truly does not drip after pouring. And when you interrupt brewing to pour a cup -- there is no drip.
Overall, very impressive. There are 2 things that are not ideal. One is there is no temp control for the burner -- I like to not keep the coffee in the pot on the very hot setting, but since I don't use that feature often I can live with it. The second is the buttons to turn power on and then brew button need to be pressed firmly and I have to hold the coffee maker to make sure it doesn't move back.

I purchased this because I didn't need to buy filters, I love that I can use them if I want to though. Coffee is great tasting and stays warm, I can also set a timer for morning coffee. It's a super quick clean up. So far no complaints.

One of my favorite features of this coffee maker is the removable water reservoir. It is so easy to fill, but the lid of the reservoir is removable and also makes it so easy to fill without removing from the coffee maker because it is so big. How many times have you tried to pour water in a tiny little space in other coffee makers? I love that the lid to the carafe locks in place, I love the rich brew feature. It is very easy to program. You can program to start in the morning by pushing the delayed brew button. It doesn't make coffee fast, but that should not stop you from buying this. I also love the warming plate, it does not appear that the coating is not going to chip like my Cuisinart did. Most of the parts are dishwasher safe. They give you a coffee scoop that attaches to the side of the machine, I don't use it because I have one in my coffee can and put it back in the can after use... It looks great on my counter! Highly recommended.

This is a very good coffeemaker. I've had this Ninja coffee maker about a month after my OXO 9 fell apart after years of use The OXO produced a very good cup of coffee but I wanted a change. I read great things about this Ninja but also read concerns about quality control. So far, so very good. The coffee quality is great. I love the easy pour, dripless carafe - it feels balanced in your hands when it pours. The ability to transport the water tank to a dispenser is convenient. The Ninja is easy to operate, and looks good in the kitchen. It's not the cheapest coffeemaker, not the most expensive, but is a very good value for the money. And no quality issues to speak of.

Has worked flawlessy every time we've used it. Whether in our kitchen or in our trailer while camping. Well made and reliable, consistently provides the same well executed cup of coffee.

Overall, this is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. Admittedly, I have always gone for the $20 Mr. Coffee makers in the past...I used to put up with all manner of leaking, buttons malfunctioning, lukewarm coffee temperatures, and, worst of all, the wretched plastic taste. I would always end up going back to the French press for the taste. I wanted something programmable and easy without sacrificing flavor. This coffee maker absolutely meets that need. I wake up to near pour-over flavor coffee every morning now. Here are my highlights:
-Flavor: The most important factor for me. It tastes excellent and is customizable. I especially appreciate that not only can you select small batch, but you can combine this setting with "classic" or "rich." I typically only make coffee for myself, so this is amazing. Not many reviews seem to mention this, but the "shower head" spout is one of its best features. The water evenly drips through all parts of the grounds and is more comparable to the pour over method. More expensive coffee makers feature this, but not many in this price range. Nice! (I was a little worried that all the plastic inside (stainless steel only on the exterior) would give it a bad taste, but I am picking up no weird plastic taste.)
Ease of Use: Very easy. The water basin detaches for easy filling, the parts are easy to clean, the buttons feel high quality, programming and setting the time works as intended. The coffee scooper attached to the side is pretty gimmicky to me, but can be convenient I'll admit.
Build Quality/Design: Good, but not perfect. It looks nice, albeit a bit aggressive appearing. It might be too large for some crowded counter spaces as it seems to be moderately bigger than other 12 cup brewers. The stainless steel looks great, but most of the inside is sadly pure plastic. Luckily, it hasn't given off any weird flavors or smells.
The biggest con: The steam. It is not a deal-breaker, but this coffee maker sure does steam a lot while brewing. And I mean a lot. It can be an issue if you are placing it right under a cabinet space, but it hasn't posed any problems for me.

This is my second purchase of this model.
I like the finished coffee and the size is perfect for me.
My first one eventually started leaving a pool of water on the counter. This one has leaked the entire contents of the removable water tank overnight once. I’m sure it was my fault for not making sure it was fully seated.
