Customers are enthusiastic about the 12-Cup Coffee Maker's coffee quality and ease of use. Many appreciate the removable water reservoir, overall performance, and sleek design. While the timer feature is also liked, some find the coffee maker a bit overpriced and mention that it runs a little loud. A few customers have also noted its bulky size and that some coffee grounds occasionally pass through the filter.

Have had several coffee maker brands in my life, this is by far the most favorite. The design is a well thought out product that is very easy to use, and way less mess and easy clean up then any other brands we have had.. Love it and so happy when our coffee is ready.. Makes a smooth tasting rich coffee!! Love it!!!

I purchased this because I didn't need to buy filters, I love that I can use them if I want to though. Coffee is great tasting and stays warm, I can also set a timer for morning coffee. It's a super quick clean up. So far no complaints.

Finally upgraded from my old $20 coffee maker. Love this one, coffee seems to taste better! Easy to use, not too many buttons to confuse my "getting slower, old brain" !

I am really happy with this purchase. The coffee maker looks nice on our coffee bar. It is easy to setup and use and the coffee tastes great, much better than the individual Keurig k-cups, although we still use that brewer when we just want a single cup of coffee later in the day. You can tell that Ninja put a good deal of thought into the design. The water reservoir is removable and it is shaped so that there are indentations for where you would grip it, so I feel it would be good for those with little grip strength. We grind the beans fresh every night when preparing the pot to auto-start the next morning. It does beep when brewing is finished, but it's not obnoxious. I would recommend!

This is a very good coffeemaker. I've had this Ninja coffee maker about a month after my OXO 9 fell apart after years of use The OXO produced a very good cup of coffee but I wanted a change. I read great things about this Ninja but also read concerns about quality control. So far, so very good. The coffee quality is great. I love the easy pour, dripless carafe - it feels balanced in your hands when it pours. The ability to transport the water tank to a dispenser is convenient. The Ninja is easy to operate, and looks good in the kitchen. It's not the cheapest coffeemaker, not the most expensive, but is a very good value for the money. And no quality issues to speak of.

Overall, this is the best coffee maker I have ever owned. Admittedly, I have always gone for the $20 Mr. Coffee makers in the past...I used to put up with all manner of leaking, buttons malfunctioning, lukewarm coffee temperatures, and, worst of all, the wretched plastic taste. I would always end up going back to the French press for the taste. I wanted something programmable and easy without sacrificing flavor. This coffee maker absolutely meets that need. I wake up to near pour-over flavor coffee every morning now. Here are my highlights:
-Flavor: The most important factor for me. It tastes excellent and is customizable. I especially appreciate that not only can you select small batch, but you can combine this setting with "classic" or "rich." I typically only make coffee for myself, so this is amazing. Not many reviews seem to mention this, but the "shower head" spout is one of its best features. The water evenly drips through all parts of the grounds and is more comparable to the pour over method. More expensive coffee makers feature this, but not many in this price range. Nice! (I was a little worried that all the plastic inside (stainless steel only on the exterior) would give it a bad taste, but I am picking up no weird plastic taste.)
Ease of Use: Very easy. The water basin detaches for easy filling, the parts are easy to clean, the buttons feel high quality, programming and setting the time works as intended. The coffee scooper attached to the side is pretty gimmicky to me, but can be convenient I'll admit.
Build Quality/Design: Good, but not perfect. It looks nice, albeit a bit aggressive appearing. It might be too large for some crowded counter spaces as it seems to be moderately bigger than other 12 cup brewers. The stainless steel looks great, but most of the inside is sadly pure plastic. Luckily, it hasn't given off any weird flavors or smells.
The biggest con: The steam. It is not a deal-breaker, but this coffee maker sure does steam a lot while brewing. And I mean a lot. It can be an issue if you are placing it right under a cabinet space, but it hasn't posed any problems for me.

After owning a LOT of coffee makers I think I've finally found a keeper. I just hope it lasts. Well made thought out design. Easy to set up and to use. Excellent coffee with no grounds in it. Easy to fill with the removable tank. What more can you ask for.

Great low to mid range coffee maker in a world with $300+ brewers. After not being able to find any more chemex filters, I had to find a quick replacement method.
Pros:
The Ninja brews fairly quickly and makes hot hot coffee. The warmer plate can be activated again afterwards and it actually makes the coffee pretty hot within 15 mins! It has a huge sprayer, so you know all the grounds are getting wet. The removable water reservoir is a must and you'll never want to go back to a fixed one after.
Cons:
The buttons aren't a one finger press. You actually have to hold the machine or it will slide. With all the tech out today, I'm surprised they weren't made touch. I didn't care for the taste when I used the gold tone filter it came with, but after I switched to unbleached paper filters and gave it ample time to cool, the coffee was much more palatable.
Overall I would definitely buy it again, as I had it narrowed to a cuisinart and kitchen aid, but both had a few too many bad reviews. This particular Ninja model had excellent reviews across multiple retailers, which is what ultimately sold me. After owning it now for a month now, I'm glad I went with it.

Absolutely wonderful coffee maker.
Pros-
>Water reservoir is removeable, which makes it easy to fill up and a bit easier to clean by the sink.
> The glass carafe is a nice weight.
> Easy to make a small batch of coffee or many cups.
> Easy to clean with removable top filter (also good for cleaning).
> Takes up a small amount of space in comparison to other large coffee makers.
Con-
> The only thing that MAY cause an issue for some people is when you raise the top lid to put coffee in, some people may not be able to put it underneath some kitchen cabinets depending on your set up. That is literally the only issue you might have.

This is my second purchase of this model.
I like the finished coffee and the size is perfect for me.
My first one eventually started leaving a pool of water on the counter. This one has leaked the entire contents of the removable water tank overnight once. I’m sure it was my fault for not making sure it was fully seated.

Has worked flawlessy every time we've used it. Whether in our kitchen or in our trailer while camping. Well made and reliable, consistently provides the same well executed cup of coffee.

Not a super fancy coffee brewer but it does the job very well! It's not super quite when it's brewing (comparing to my previous De'Longhi) but not a big deal at all. No issues at all since we bought it.
I also like the fact that you can detach the water tank to fill it up as opposed to having to pour the water into it (my DL was like that and it was not convenient at all). Also, the water tank is clear and it has the measurements marked so you know how much water you are putting in. I've found that Ninja is very reliable - this is not our first product from this brand . I'd definitely recommend this product.

The Ninja coffee maker brews an excellent cup of coffee. The water reservoir is a very smart design ,very easy to use. Also I would like to say that the control functions are very user-friendly.

I bought this coffee pot as a wedding gift and honestly I was a little jealous I had to give it away. I love that it has a detachable water reservoir and ice coffee option. The bride was so happy!
