Before purchasing this blender I tried the smaller duo Ninja. It did not do what I wanted so I decided to give the Ninja brand one more try with this one and I love it! I use it everyday for green smoothies. It IS loud so that may be a problem for some but I’m happy with it.

I spent about 15 minutes in store comparing this blender, a vitamix, and a blendtec. I decided that this one looked like it would get the job done for a fraction of the cost, and I was right! It has blended everything with ease! So glad I saved money and went with this one.

I purchased this blender after comparing it to the vitamix and blendtec. I’ve never owned a high powered blender, and I’ve had this one for six months now. Blends everything I’ve given it to blend well, and much less than a vitamix or blendtec!

This blender is a beast! But is also simply a beautiful appliance. If you’re someone who likes to experiment in the kitchen with new and different recipes or someone who might be in need of a more automated experience, this Ninja Chef 72 oz. blender is sure to perform above and beyond what you might expect. I was certainly pleasantly surprised at what this machine can do. Once the blender is plugged in and powered on, you’ll see the digital display. By using the Smart Dial you can easily switch between Auto-iQ pre-set programs (which take the guess work out of it), and Manual Control Mode, which allows you to choose how much power to use with a turn of the variable speed dial. Other modes include: Clean (which enables you to wash the blender pitcher while it’s sitting atop the motor base), Timer+, and Pulse. The included Tamper is used to push ingredients down towards the blades, as needed. Take care when using the tamper while the blender is on. Included with the Quick Assembly and Instruction Guides, is a handy booklet filled with 50 quick & easy recipes. There are suction cups on the bottom of the Motor Base for added stability. The heavy duty cord can be wrapped around a special lip at the back of the motor base for convenient storage, or to shorten the cord so it won’t get in the way. The pitcher, lid, lid cap are made of heavy duty durable plastic and are dishwasher safe. I particularly appreciated how the lid clipped onto the pitcher. This really provided a tight seal. On the blender pitcher itself there are useful cautions and clearly marked guides - pay close attention to the MAX level lines. An available accessory (not included with this model) is a single-serve cup, which would come in handy for people wanting to blend a quick beverage for ‘on-the-go.’ *DO read the Product Warnings and review the Care and Maintenance Instructions. Pay particular attention to the information regarding the blade assembly - they are sharp! Safety features include: If the pitcher is not properly installed on the motor base, a ‘JAR’ message will appear on the display. In the event that the appliance overheats (or you overload the blender), a thermal switch will activate temporarily disabling the motor, and the control panel will not function along with an ‘Err’ message being displayed. There is a procedure to reset the motor thermostat, described in the instruction booklet. This unique safety system prevents damage to the motor. ‘Cons’: Loudness, this blender isn’t quiet. But you wouldn’t expect it to be, what with the amount of power the Ninja Chef’s motor has going for it. Also, this machine isn’t tiny, it will take up a considerable amount of room on your counter or in your cupboard. However, it’s “bulkiness” really does give you a sense that this is a heavy duty piece of hardware - so that’s also a ‘Pro.’ All in all, I’d agree with what the recipe booklet says - this Ninja Chef blender is “Your Culinary Dream Come True.”

If you want a blender that is the best, it grinds everything in seconds, I love that it has several functions, you can do multiple things with this super recommended blender.

This is the best blender I have ever owned, my some had made me buy this blender and I am glad that he did. Love this product and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional kitchen tool.

I have other Ninja blenders and they have been amazing over the past 3-4 years. I have bought this as another collection for me. It is withouht any arguement the best product by the best company.

It works great in all settings. The setting for nut butter could be a little longer on time frame. I will say, it is a little louder when on. But have been enjoying using the Ninja Chef

Powerful and does a great job on many types of food. May have to use the included plunger when the food moves away from the blade.

This blender is amazing at making making protein smoothies and I use it to make the filling for my raw vegan cheesecakes. It blends everything so smooth. We love it!

Base is a bit bulky but it does a great job. Performance was much better then the base model ninja I have and it doesn't have the annoying vertical blades.

After doing a lot of research and not wanting to spend an arm and a leg, but also wanting quality I decided on the NInJa Chef and I use it daily and love it!

This new generation Ninja Chef blender makes my 4 year old Ninja look week. I am happy to see Ninja taking a proven product and making it even better. The amount of power is amazing, taking everything I can throw in it. Salsa is now easy to make, no more chopping into little cubes, it pulses just right to get the best salsa consistency I have ever seen from a blender. I finally was able to make homemade ice cream for the first time in my life, and wow, smooth and creamy ice cream, my kids were all smiles. Smoothies are easy as well. I used my Ninja juicer and then added the juice and ice to the blender, amazing, simple as that, I am in love with this blender, period. The only downfall is the massive amount of noise, this may be louder than anything I have ever used in my home. Positives: Powerful Super easy to clean Many settings to make any meal or snack easily Negatives: Very Loud Size is huge, makes storage difficult I highly recommend the Ninja Chef Blender, just know you cant use it when your family is sleeping.

I like this Blender. It is working very good. It has a lot power to blend everything. I am happy to have it in my kitchen.

This blender has great modern looks and it’s just as powerful to do just about anything. Very happy with this purchase.

I was put on the spot to replace my former variable Ninja the other day. I was upset till discover that all of my old canisters could not be used with the new variable speed model OR any of the other models. I decided to buy this one regardless because it seemed comparable to several Vitamix models at a fraction of the price. My main need was for it to puree cooked pumpkin for the pies I was in the middle of preparing when my original Ninja died. It couldn't handle the pumpkin. I didn't over fill it, either. The motor started to give off a burning plastic smell or electrical burn smell that was stronger than I ever experienced with my older, comparable hp one, So I quit and returned out. I feel that it isn't as good as the older version that grave the ability to add the triple blade chopper to the container.
