Got it for my wife. She had been wanting a ninja for a while. So far it has worked great. Thing is crazy loud compared to our old blender but not a big deal for us.

Love using this but i live in an apartment building and when turned on it is very loud. This limits my use to 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and there are nights i want to use it.

It’s been years since I was an avid user of blenders but with a need to start eating healthier, I gave this a shot. It’s incredible. The 1500W is very powerful. I’ve blended everything from energy drinks and smoothies with rock-hard frozen fruit to milkshakes to salsa. It never skipped a beat. With the pre-programmed settings, it was made easy. My first batch of salsa was made on manual because I was nervous about it coming out too “liquidy” after making several smoothies, but after my second batch with the pre-programmed setting, I realized those concerns were unwarranted. The small recipe book included has recipes to make a variety of items, though many of them had ingredients I don’t normally stock. I pulled out my old blender recipe book and have rekindled my fondness for smoothies and blending of all things. The suction cup feet keep this high-powered blender stable and securely attached to the counter top at even full speed. I like the way the 72oz. Container drops down and then twists into place to lock. I am confident when I turn it on, I can just let go and wait for it to finish. Cleanup is a breeze as well with a self-cleaning option. If you don’t feel comfortable with it for whatever reason, it’s also dishwasher safe (container and lid… not the base)! My only grip is the loudness. I will not be making anything with anyone sleeping in the house! It’s not outrageously loud as blenders go, but it is louder than my old Sunbeam blender. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone that enjoys making things from scratch at home. It has a many pre-programmed settings, lots of power, and very stable on any hard surface.

Has some problems with extremely thick liquids but that’s to be expected. Works like a dream!
