Wife’s verdict? “Wow . . ."
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ninja Air Fryer (AF101). Wife’s verdict? “Wow . . . I’ve been trying to get my French fries close to restaurant quality, forever. The Ninja got it right on the first try.“ I need to be charitable here as I describe our previous (unsuccessful) efforts at cooking fries. Soft and soggy, or dry and cracker-like, or just burnt. We adjusted our expectations and rarely bothered to invest the effort to add fries (or similar sides) to a lunch or dinner. We’re now experimenting with other foods. The Ninja Air fryer is able to turn those “I wonder if it’s worth the effort” cooking tasks into, “Ooo, I’ve got to add this to the menu.” Success is very motivating. This is a very easy-to-operate, average noise-level, efficient (1550 watts) air-fryer. The Ninja uses a ceramic coated basket that has a ceramic coated crisper plate (optional use) and stainless steel rack to add another layer of cooking. The basket pulls out easily (the handle stays comfortable), and a simple shake or stir with tongs lets you ensure even cooking or check for doneness. Little heat is lost and you can stop fretting about heating up the kitchen or lengthening cooking time. Cooking times are always shorter than you’re accustomed to, but they get easy to predict with experience. The easy-to-use interface has a temperature setting from 105 up to 400 degrees for it’s 4 functions (Dehydrate, Reheat, Roast, Air Fry). The timer varies depending on functions, but can air-fry up to an hour, roast up to 3 hours, and dehydrate for 12 hours. It has a 14”x11” footprint and is 13” high. It should cook a 2-pound bag of fries. SUMMARY: The Ninja isn’t a small appliance. But, when you consider how flexible and useful it is substituting for an oven, while using a fraction of the energy, cooking time, setup time and cleanup time, we’ve concluded it’s earned its place on the countertop. As a fryer, all the above is still true, but the significantly lower amount of oil needed (and discarded) also makes it a healthy decision. We like the Ninja, and the expanded menu options, quite a bit. Recommended highly.

Air friers are the new thing
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.“Air fryers are the new thing.” I asked my wife & that was her response. Enter the Ninja 4-Qt Air Fryer. “You need to add spray (Pam) before you turn use it.” Another one-liner, but after reading the instructions, I decided NOT add any Pam. Good, because I didn’t need to. First thing cooked: Trader Joe's Hash browns. Drop the suggested oven temperature by 25 degrees and instead of 20-25 minutes, it was done in 6 and there wasn’t a soggy potato to deal with after - it was insanely crispy. Then, some cinnamon rolls - about 4 minutes / flip / 4 minutes to get a good cook-through. Nachos? Yes please! About 3 minutes for melted cheese and hot crispy chips. Bacon. It tends to blow the pieces around a bit, causing some clumpage (is that a word?). Good old bacon will make a bit of smoke, but not enough to set off my smoke detector, which is quite sensitive. But all said & done, you can have it crispy or chewy … both of which came out perfectly. One thing that just isn’t right, is the ‘preheat’ part. You’re supposed to preheat before you start cooking (makes sense), but the preheat part is 3 minutes at the heat you want, then it shuts off … doesn’t maintain temp like an oven would. It’s a pretty sizable appliance (?) so you’re going to want to be sure there’s a place, or at least somewhere you can hide it, should counter space be a concern. Overall, if a family member wanted one for Christmas or the like, I’d gladly get one for them.

This Fryer Wowed Me!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I researched a little bit and set mind on this air fryer because of 4.8/5 reviews. I made purchase today and in just few hours I was making my first ever dish in it. It’s very easy to work with. Instructions are crystal clear in the recipe booklet. I cooked Salmon in it and I was wowed as how crispy the skin and outside was; and inside was so soft and pink exactly as I wanted. Also the size is great, fits perfectly on the counter of my small kitchen. It’s more than enough for a single person but can accommodate a family of four. Also would like to mention that I agree with other reviewers that this doesn’t come with bunch of accessories, just a multilayer basket and a crisper; also it’s a bit noisy. But still I’m very gladly live with it as this product is awesome. Please don’t think just get it, you will be so happy and pleased.

The best small appliance in my kitchen
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best air fryer in the market and it has to be Ninja. This is the best help I’ve got in my kitchen, you can air fry, roast, reheat and even dehydrate food for a healthy meal. This 4qt air dryer comes with a multi layer rack , ceramic coated plate and 4 programmable cooking functions with a digital countdown and it includes a receipe book. The auto adjust fan automatically adjust speed base on your cooking function and also has a variable temp. The size of this air dryer is perfect to fit your entire family and the temp and speed range from 105-400. For best results on your first time use, its recommended that you use a tablespoon of oil, also I recommend to check and shake your food while cooking for better results.

The grill plate stays put when you pour out you scrumptious, perfectly air-fried contents. Perfect size for two people and doesn't take up too much counter real estate. Clean up is a breeze too. Highly recommend this unit.

Great Air Fryer!
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought myself this gift for Christmas. Wasn't sure I was going to use it much, but so many others were using air fryers. This is easy to use, very easy cleanup, and love that I can do various potatoes, but was surprised how great pork chops and some other meats tasted using it! Just the right amount of buttons/settings too. I don't need it to replace my oven!

Best Ceramic Airfryer
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used this product for over a year now and I am very happy with its performance. The main reason I purchased this is because the cooking area was ceramic not plastic. I waited till this item was on sail to purchase. (69.99) I enjoy how great it does bacon. I just cut a 1/2 # in half and stagger the slices checking very 8 mins and I shake the drawer or rearranging the meat. Comes out perfect. I have done steak and salmon with no turning and it is cooked throughly and very tasty. Roasting Brussel Sprouts is wonderful. It is easy to clean due to the tray that is easy to remove and drain the main pan if needed. A little Dawn makes short work of the cleaning due to the ceramic coating.

Best air fryer for my kitchen
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced another air fryer and I like this one much better. It is just made better. I chose it due to no teflon, it is enamel. The plate has rubber feet and fits snuggly. It is easy to use. It is a bonus that is has other setting other than air fry. The heat up option should be really useful. It was better than I had expected and all I had hoped for. I might buy a second one just for when I need to run two at a time. The no teflon aspect is a big deal to me the qualtiy is a relief.

THE VERDICT
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been having this fryer for 2 weeks now and it has NOT rested yet. I LOVE IT & wonder how I've gone this long w/out one. Before I start bragging on this thing, I am by no way endorsed by Ninja or getting paid by them. I've owned a few Ninja products blenders and still have one that's over 10 years old. They make quality machines. This fryer is a life & time saver...especially if you're a lazy cook. I have been researching air fryers for the past few months and nothing comes close to the Ninja. The basket size isn't the large 5+ quart capacity like the bigger fryers, (Ninja is only 4qt), but this thing cooks so fast you won't miss the extra 1 qt. It comes w/ a crisper that works perfectly, a recipe book and a multi-layer rack. The first night I had it I made wings and I tell you that I will NEVER buy fried chicken again!!! Yes, they were that crispy and tasted much better. I bought the Louisiana fried chicken flour from Walmart, battered the wings, spritzed w/ a little olive oil and had fried chicken in 10 minutes. No greasy mess, no 3rd degree burns from hot oil, and your house doesn't smell like a chicken joint for 4 days afterward. Because the Ninja uses a ceramic coating on their fryers the clean up is very easy. Next, I made sweet potato fries! Had a bag of frozen ones in the freezer and popped those babies in for 10 min. They were crispier than McDonald's. I tried homemade fries but the procedure takes too long. You have to peel, slice, soak potatoes, dry them...I'm just ready to pop them in the fryer and eat! It has been nonstop air fryer cooking in this house! I hit youtube to get a few recipes and it's been on ever since. What I like best about this fryer is it has a dehydrator feature and how fast it cooks. Frozen chicken wings? No problem! Throw them in the fryer for 10 minutes and they're defrosted. I've cooked pizza, fries, wings, reheated food, fried zucchini, and tonight I baked a chocolate cake. Everything came out perfect! Next up is donuts! The only thing I don't like about this fryer is 30 seconds after it finishes cooking it shuts off. I know this is a safety feature but I always have more items to cook. In 2 weeks, I have used my microwave twice, and that was to reheat coffee. Before I forget, I did cinnamon rolls too! I used the canned Pillsbury ones and it normally takes 20 min in the oven. In the Ninja? 8 minutes and that's if you like them brown. I actually could have stopped it at 5 min and they would be perfect. My house smelled like a Cinnabon factory! I have used every feature on this fryer except the dehydrator but I'll be making beef jerky soon. Overall, I am VERY pleased! The best selling feature was the price & the size. The Ninja is much slimmer than some of the bulkier fryers and fits under my cabinet nicely. I'm also happy it only used 1500W unlike some of the larger fryers that burn 1800 which could kill your light bill. The outside of the fryer doesn't get hot so you won't have to worry about getting burned but do take caution when taking your food out. Is it loud? My exhaust fan on my stove is louder than the Ninja. The extension cord on it is long so you don't have to worry about being limited on where you can place it. I think I've covered everything? This thing is THE BOMB! If you're wondering what cookware you can use, just about anything you place in a microwave you can put in the Ninja. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a few 7" foil pans I use to reheat food & bake in. Also, grab you some silicone tongs while you're there so you don't scratch the surface of your fryer. This thing has been almost as good as a kid getting a new bike for Christmas. You will NOT be disappointed w/ this purchase. Happy & healthy cooking!

perfect appliance
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the product because it looks beautiful; but of utmost most importance though is it’s ability to cook perfectly rendering delicious food and less oil and it’s so easy to operate. We love to use it over and over again each meal.My son”s friend saw him cook with this air fryer and he wants to buy one for his family also . My son does not want me to put it in the cupboard after use because he said it’s convenient iti leave it out for ease of access each time he wants to use it again for the next meal.

Quick and easy dinners
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had been holding off purchasing an air fryer for a while now. I was worried they were just tiny convection ovens. It was yet another appliance with a very narrow usage. I owned a deep fryer. Finally, there was a good enough sale, an we've been trying to eat better... Now, I wish I bought this a while back. I don't know how it compares to other air fryers, but I'm very pleased with ours. In the few days alone, I went out of my way to try and compare to traditional fried foods, and just use it in general. These things are quick. They are convenient. And most importantly, they deliver a crispy, crunchy finished results that rival traditional frying. They won't taste the same. When deep frying, the final product has a great deal of oil added, which will make it taste different than air frying. It does give a very comparable result in terms of crispiness. This one is the perfect size for the two of us, and the instructions are just right for someone who hasn't used these before. 24 people found th
