This is my 2nd ninja coffee maker. Last one lived 11/12 years and this one is the best one ever!!!! I can use coffee grinds or kcups and all the other features are amazing. Make sure if ur using a ceramic cup, rinse it in hot water or all the heat from coffee goes into the cup. U HAVE TO BUY ONE! Its amazing. Daughter in law loves hers too

Got this baby about 8 months ago (for reference) after our 4th other “k-brands” pooped out after about 2 years each. Let me just say that NINJA has done every little thing right that annoyed the heck out of me with the other “k-brand” over the years. I mean everything! The first few weeks my husband and I kept texting each other “OMG..the coffee maker can do this or that!” Best Features -the little whisk on the side!!! I use it everyday to mix my collagen powder into my coffee. Or make my kids chocolate milk -the dial to choose cup size goes from 2-55 oz.! -there are NO limitations (like the other brand) on anything when making choices - there is a button to switch to water mode! So your hot water won’t be slightly coffee flavored or have grounds in it. I use it for dissolving bullion when I am cooking. - The CLEANING CYCLE!! You no longer have to sit there and brew cup after cup after cup. Just fill it up and it spends 75 min cleaning. - There are no extra parts that you have to store separately! Everything stays on the machine. The top slides back and forth if you want to brew a pot of coffee. Even the coffee scoop attaches to the side! Things I mildly didn’t like (lol) - I with it came with the cone shaped brew basket because it is hard to find online. But it does come with some paper filters - even though it was not hard to use at all, it took a few days to learn all the amazing features. Just take the time to read the instructions! Keep the manual around for reference.

Brews cold and basket design is poor

This would have been a great maker if made the coffee hot and kept most of the grounds in the basket and out of the pot. On the brewed coffee, the temp was just not hot enough, it was at best a high side warm brew. I may have been able to live with that if it was not chock full of grounds. K-Cup seemed to work well, nice and hot. I tried everything the instruction said, everything I could find online, nothing kept the basket from overflowing and pouring grounds into the pot. I can only attribute this to the basket design, the over flow holes are just too low, allowing the grounds to pour out of the basket and into the pot every single time. We were using standard cone filters. It is entirely possible the gold basket would have corrected this issue. At a price tag of $249.99 I could not justify having to spend the extra money on the gold basket on the chance it was going to correct the brewing issue, and it would not have corrected the brewing temperature issue. I returned it and bought the Keurig dual brew, which came with the gold filter basket for $199.99. Right out of the gate, a perfect brew temp and zero grounds in the pot, not a single ground has made it to the pot. The Keurig has performed flawlessly since it came out of the box. I really wanted to like the Ninja, it had many nice features, a wonderful touch screen and looked very modern and sleek. It just could not perform it's primary function correctly. Had they included the gold basket, and it performed well with no or few grounds, I would have kept it regardless of the brew temp being too cool. Overall, I sadly cannot recommend this machine, it just fell short of basic expectations.

    Excellent Coffee and Tea Maker

We have had this machine for over a year now. It makes excellent drip coffee for me every day. When I'm out of town, or if I forget to set the automatic timer, my wife uses it to make K cups faster and better tasting than our commercial Keurig ever could. We also use it to make tea one cup at a time faster than we can make it any other way. My son uses it on the lower temperature setting for herbal tea, while I use the boil setting for my Irish breakfast. There is no coffee affect to the tea water because the hot water tubing is completely independent of the coffee brewing equipment.

Things I love about this coffee maker are all the settings it has such as multiple size pots to brew, plus the single cup feature. I love the frother and the attached measuring scoop, and I love how quickly it brews a pot of coffee. The negatives are that the coffee does not stay hot very long at all, requiring me to microwave my coffee. The letters on the logo came off after not even a month? Why, I have not idea. Although I enjoy the frother it’s at a weird angle to hold and froth cream. Lastly, the cool lock off feature to pour midway through a pot has never worked successfully for me.

This is such a great coffee maker. I wish I had bought it sooner. It is so easy to use. It remembers your last settings whether you’re using it for a whole pot or a single cup, so you just have to push two buttons and the coffee starts brewing; no configurations to chose each time. And the separate hot water and coffee lines are great when you live in a house with both coffee and tea drinkers. Everyone is happy!

I love coffe and Ninja brand so as soon as I so it on sale it was a go time! I love slim design of it, looks neat on your countertop. It brews good coffee with clasic setting, but you can set it up stronger for specialty drinks. I really like metal carafe (as I managed to break glass one in the past), it keeps coffee hot for a while and eliminates nead if heat pad. The cup stand perfectly fits my 12oz cup and you can chnage to dofferent sizes. Also I love drip stop function, it’s very useful then brewing that one cup. I’m really happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a coffee maker that had a metal caraffe. I had already went through 3 other coffee makers because the glass caraffes break so easily. It keeps the coffee hot in the metal caraffe even after the coffee maker has shut off. I actually have used the hot water dispenser for tea more than I thought I would. I like that it has the frother although I haven't used that yet. I was even happier when I realized that it was on sale when I purchased it and saved me an extra $50 dollars. I was ready to pay the $249 plus tax on it. This is a coffee maker that will last you a long time. I love it!

Very good coffee maker, high quality materials. Variety of coffee styles and super easy to change functions. Fast and efficient. Use No4 filter and all types of capsules. My only criticism is two things; All the models I had seen came with the option of keeping the coffee hot and this one did not / the other annoyance is that since it has 3 needles for the capsules, it sometimes leaves coffee residue. You can get coffee spots in your cup and sometimes it's annoying.

The "Deal of the Day" on this multifunctional coffee maker may be the deal of the year! As long as it keeps working like this, I'll be delighted. Especially nice is the metal coffee pot that keeps the coffee hot for hours without scorching it. All features have been tested, and it is a great appliance!

By far the best coffee brewer I've ever used. Very convenient and intuitive to use, along with the attachments like the frother are very nice and easy to clean. I will say it might just be the way I make it but it tends to brew coffee grounds not as strong as a pod.
