Its not really fair to call this a toaster oven. Last October our wall oven broke and parts were on manufacturer back order. I saw this Ninja on sale and decided to try it so i could still bake for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. I was skeptical but pleasantly surprised by what a fantastic oven this is. It has multiple options for baking, roasting, air frying and dehydrating. One draw back is there is a limit to the size of the baking dishes, pans and baking sheets you can use but I didn't find it to be a problem. It has a meat thermometer that goes into tge meat to monitor temp while food is cooking and I found it to be very accurate. The oven cooks very evenly. I have cooked a spiral ham, pork roast, chicken, baked au gratin potatoes, green bean casserole, bread, cookies and muffins just to name a few and everything came out perfect. I HIGHLY recommend this versatile oven and its easy to clean. Only other concerns were the high temp is 400 so not really able to adequately sear meat, it sometimes makes a rattling noise when at the highest temp and be careful not to put to close to tile wall on counter because the hot air coming out the back could potentially discolor the tile. We use a cutting board against the wall to protect tile and make sure there is adequate space between the wall and back of oven.

After having this for almost half a year, i would say im really enjoying cooking using this product. The options is comes with is just great. I tried baking, air frying, broiling.. everything comes oit perfectly.

The temperature is accurate! It preheats quickly! All functions are clear & easy to use! Mostly I love using a small oven during the summer. The downsides are clean-up of the oven is difficult. Can’t use oven cleaner. And I wish the screen around the fryer fan was removable to wash, doable in my old air fryer.

We have had many toaster ovens over the years, some good, some really bad, none really great. As the name states, "Toaster/Oven". Most do toast, some do oven, but none have done both really well. The Ninja Foods Smart XL does it all, and does it great. I have tested the following functions to see if it simply can. Toasting, air frying, baking, roasting, reheating, warm hold and even dehydrating. They all worked, and great. It makes great toast, and fast. Air-Frying made awesome fries, fried cheese sticks and fish. I baked an apple pie and even two loaves of white bread which it did a fantastic job. I roasted a whole chicken to perfection, reheated leftover dinner and kept it warm. Dehydrating apples was also a success. There are other functions I just haven't gotten around to testing, but so far, this has replaced my conventional oven for most tasks. I can do it all in this countertop toaster oven. I mean it really does it all, and it does it great. It is super easy to use, has lots of space for bigger foods, and it does it quickly. Now for the fun part. We had a power outage yesterday for over three hours. I got my big 3600W power station, plugged in the Ninja Foodi XL and got to cooking. It saved the day. We love this thing and we HIGHLY recommend it. It does it all and it is unbelievably versatile at a terrific price. 5 stars from us.

I have had this for about 3 months now. And I use it ALL THE TIME!!! The size is phenomenal. The quality is superb! This thing cooks chicken wings like no other. The air fry feature is the whole reason I bought it. I was looking to replace my conventional toaster oven for something I could use for more than just that without having to buy a secondary air fryer only appliance. My friends love this, I love this, even my cat loves this when I make fish and give him some of it. Super quick to heat up and easy to use. Cannot wait to test out the dehydrate feature to make my own jerky!

Great toaster oven. I don’t really think I’ll be using my stove oven anymore. I was able to fit a 7 lb turkey great in this oven and it cooked to the preset temp in less than an hour and a half. There was plenty more room left inside, too. There’s enough space to have two trays of food. The temp probe is accurate and shuts the unit down when it hits the set point. Easy to clean and operate. The controls aren’t terribly intuitive, but the instructions are easy to follow

So far so good with this countertop oven. If you are thinking about purchasing it, just try it. It is a time saver for me. We are using my microwave less since we purchased this oven. Yes, it actually cook whole pizzas. We are a pizza household so this is an extra feature we love. This is the first countertop oven that everyone in the house likes to use.

I’m so impressed with this ninja ! My six-year-old gas oven broke, and I had all the ingredients out to make cookies I was able to successfully make my chocolate chip cookies in the pan. I even was able to line it with parchment paper. I love how the light comes on with the last minute of cook time so you could add more time if you want. Toast is perfect. Bagels are amazing. Cookies are incredible. The pizza on the reheat setting comes out perfect. So far, easy cleanup once I did the initial start up. I followed the directions to let it run empty and when I open the door, I had a plastic bag in front of it, and that melted to the glass, but since it was so hot, I immediately scraped off the melted plastic. This is a massive oven. I have it in the corner of my counter and I generally plan to just use it for toast. I wish I had like a small toast version, but this was on sale there’s a temperature probe that’s included and I’m not sure if I will ever make anything super messy in it. There’s a crumb tray. I would maybe like to get the wood accessory that goes on top just so I could put some things on top. There’s a nice tone when the item is done cooking everyone in my family enjoys using the ninja foodi.

Does what it says it should do. I’ve been a hard core Breville toaster oven fan for years and still have one in perfect working order after ten years of hard use. We gave the Ninja a try because we needed the size and we wanted the air fryer option. So far, we are really happy with the results! This machine looks nice, is smartly designed and cooks well. There is a learning curve just like with any other new machine, but we are happy. I’m a big fan of Breville and always recommend their machines, but would also recommend this machine without reservation. Especially if you need the extra size.

This air fryer is the largest multi use air fryer unit we have ever owned. We have owned it for a short while and I strongly recommend it. It works great for anything, awesome chicken, toast, warming up a dish instead of in the micro. I'm anxious to use the dehydrate feature. A+ 5 star indeed. ;)

It is a wonderful addition to my kitchen. Cos just like a regular oven. The large capacity gives me an extra oven when I need to bake a lot at the same time. Living in AZ looking forward to using it instead of heating up my house with the oven. I highly recommend it. I have a very small kitchen with not alot of counter space but it fits just right.

Used for breakfast sandwiches, for delicious lunch and dinner, surprisingly easy to use and prepared all we needed

We have replaced all of our countertop appliances to ninja but this oven is our main go to. Not to mention the easiest and user friendly of them. We bought the extra racks and trays along with liners etc which makes clean up so easy and they’re all dishwasher safe. After months of use almost everyday it still looks new as it wipes out easy. I recommend a microfiber rag and water so you’re not introducing cleaning chemicals into your units.

This is seriously an amazing machine. Someone put a lot of thought and time into designing and making it. From the buttons being on the handle to put it far away from the heat as possible, multiple cooking racks, great size, multi functions, pre-heats in seconds, cooks evenly & fast, comes with a cook book & manual, crumb catcher but I’m OCD so I put foil as well, a built in meat thermometer & it’s fairly quiet. I would purchase again. Anyone looking for s great multi functional cooking machine I would highly suggest this one. I just took it out of the box excited to cook chicken wings on air fry. I love this air fryer, definitely one of the best purchases I have made, I USE IT EVERY DAY and my meals turn out perfect, and what I love most is that it is easy to clean, I have had it for 8 months and I always recommend it to my friends.

Love it! I stay in motels a lot for work and I can cook anything in this thing. Small yet big enough for cooking anything I want. Food is Delicious cooked in it. I would buy it again!

Bought this as a gift for my chef wife... Its a fantastic replacement for our past basic air fryer. Just have to get the used to the temperature and timing variance because it is so much more bigger. Air frying a whole chicken in this is a game changer. Your proteins will cook perfectly with the included thermometer provided you use it. Chef wife decarbs her plants perfectly. Only real negative is cleaning this jeavy hitter. Oil seems to burm in towards the back of the oven close to the vents. Good luck.

Amazing little oven! I shouldn’t say little because this has large amount of space and has completely taken the place of my actual oven! The price was perfect and product is amazing! Great warranty right out of the box too very easy to set up! Overall this has been a great purchase! Highly recommend this Ninja 10-1 oven!

We bought this just before Christmas. We had a smaller toaster oven, and both of the ovens in the house we recently purchased have quit. So, this one will fit my smaller casserole dishes and a small pizza. I think we have used it every day since we brought it home. So far, we have not noticed any problems, but we have only been using it for 6 weeks. My two biggest users have been my husband and second daughter .. they love how easy it is to check the temperature and set it for the type of cooking they want. Daughter loves the air fry setting. The two younger ones love that they can pop a pizza in for lunch or dinner. The veggies cook great too. And with two tray levels, it is possible to cook two things at the same time. It's not the same as having a full sized oven, but it sure has made our life a ton easier.
