I am in love with Ninja products. So, when the Foodi OL500 became available I jumped at the opportunity to add it to our kitchen arsenal. We own dedicated pressure cookers, air fryers and countertop ovens so the idea of a single solution for all of these functions is very appealing. Let me just say that this thing just works. Each of the functions we have used is simple and efficient. If you've never done "simple" tasks such as hard boiled eggs or Jasmine rice in a pressure cooker - run, don't walk, to get one of these! Air frying is similarly delightful. Ninja has provided a flexible rack and "cook and crisp" plate that are critical to positioning your food at the right height while allowing the heat to circulate evenly around your dish. Burgers, fries, frozen food - it all comes out great! I am still experimenting with the steam-and-crisp function but the included cook book and the extensive on-line community means I'll be spending a lot more time trying out new dishes! I need to tip my hat to the control panel design. This is how all appliances should be controlled! Simple, comprehensive, large displays and appropriate audio cues make this thing an absolute joy to use! Downsides? This appliance is huge! You'll need to make sure that you have plenty of free counter space and brace yourself when you lift it up. Another interesting design choice is that the lid hinges open sideways (from left to right) rather than the traditional front-to-back. Two observations about that - it can make accessing the inside of the unit awkward if you are left-handed. It is also more of a challenge to reach down into the unit to work with or remove your food. Be careful, things get very hot inside these cookers and you can get burned. These observations notwithstanding, this appliance is another hit for for the Ninja team and I highly recommend you have a look!

I believe this is the best pressure cooker you can buy! It allows you to pressure cook, steam, or air fry without switching lids. I purchased it to replace another brand purchased elsewhere that only lasted a few months past the one year warranty. Having the Best Buy Total Tech I know I will have this one longer than that! It has worked very well so far.

All the different modes of cooking make my Ninja way better than my Instapot. I love being able to sear my meat then go straight to pressure crisp to finish it off.

I honestly thought I would use it more than I do. It gets the job done, but when it comes down to it, I’d rather just use an over or a frying pan in almost every case unless I need a pressure cooker.

Fantastic! Best air fryer I’ve ever had, only con is probably the inner casing starts to chip away after a few months.
