I picked this up for my son because it kinda of reminds me of Mortal combat. It was a cool game I use to play that when I was younger.

The title may bring warm memories to mind but don't be fooled. This game is boring and slow. Not like past entries.

Loved the high difficulty but the wii u controller can be a strain on your hands due to the frantic gameplay

If you have a wii u then you need to add this game to your collection.

Don't be fooled by the title. This is not a good game even for the $5 I spent on it.

A great game for my Wii U. Fun to play with my cousins.

I was disappointed with this game. I expected a different game based on the cover info.

To the surprise of many, the Wii U is a pretty competent home to action games, with titles like Wonderful 101, and Bayoneta 1&2 at the top of the list. Those games set a pretty high bar for the genre, and I really enjoyed the previous two titles done by Team Ninja, although the man in charge of the studio, Itagaki, was no longer with them during the development of Ninja Gaiden 3. The story, as many stories in games coming out of Japan (especially in this genre), is a convoluted mess, which is expected. That's what the 'skip' button is for. The gameplay is better, but not tremendously so, and while it may be serviceable for a launch window game (which I believe this was, despite it being a port from the 360/PS3 generation), at this point in the system's life span, there are too many great to waste time playing a game like this unless you really enjoy action games. It's easily the weakest NG game in the current series that started back on the original Xbox, and it's nowhere near as good as either of the aforementioned titles on Wii U. It's a serviceable game, but even at the discounted price I purchased it at, the game hardly seems worth it.

With it's release way back when, Ninja Gaiden has always been a series with major flaws, whether it be seemingly impossible difficulty setting, or just poor game mechanics in general, they always existed. However, Nintendo has really laid something new on the table with the most recent game towards the franchise; Razor's Edge. From it's stunning gameplay and characters, to its fine-detailed environment and action, this one is truly the masterpiece for the series. Giving and overall 8.5 out of ten, the game features AWESOME fun, and great controls and mechanics, allowing the player to feel a lot more comfortable when playing. The graphics, as previously mentioned, are beautiful, and really immerse a player into the game, This allows all the fine gore and epic combos and weapons to feel realistic, giving the game an overall nice tone. Almost all of the flaws of the series' earlier components, have been improved. While the game is nice, the plot could use a little refining, but overall, it's more or less supposed to be a beat-em-up hack and slash, which is why not too much is deducted from this lack in feature. To summarize; great buy, worth the play for all those contemplating. Happy Slashing.

Can be a little overwhelming in the beginning while learning how to control your character, but once you get the hang of it game-play can be really smooth. Graphics look great.

I was looking to be able to play with my kids and I cannot because it is bloody. I would recommend if you are ok with that.

Great for the current price. No it is not as deep as the old games but it is still good. This also contains all dlc

I bought a Wii U Pro Controller for this game, because it was just that weird to play Ninja Gaiden with a Wii U Game Pad. That said, it wasn't awful-- just expect your hands to get tired after contorting themselves everywhere!

This is an excellent game and the graphics are amazing!

I was able to score this game for about $7 from Best Buy. Can't complain about that price!
