NINJA IMPROVED, REINVENTED, REDEFINED THE BLENDER

"Ninja-1200 Kitchen System" has greatly improved, reinvented, and redefined the meaning of the blender. Note, that this review can just about apply equally to their updated 1500watt model, only designed with basically fewer attachments and, therefore, requires slightly less power consumption. On this model, both sensibly sized 40-ounce and 72-ounce containers come equipped with respectively compatible blade assemblies. The ingeniously simplistic concept of the ultra sturdy, sharp, and contoured multi-blades are clearly the actual reason for the capacity to accomplish amazingly fast, thorough, efficient chopping, pulverizing, mixing, blending, etc. Any kind of food item from, for example fresh carrots to ice-cubes, are altered and created into a liquid or any other form you may wish, with the mere touch of your preference of speed button. Nutrition can be enhanced with the easy preparation of any one, or a combination, of various healthy, fresh foods as they become created into any of many conceivably desired recipes, such as beverages, shakes, soups, even cake or cookie dough. If you want to do it, this device will help with speedy efficiency to help you make it happen. All container contents from bottom, middle, and top will be managed by the multi-blade assembly. Plus, with the more than sufficiently powerful motor, it is capable of unparalleled performance. Some might be initially thrown by the strong, loud motor rotation and vibration, though you'll soon realize this is literally telling you that the job is getting done amazingly fast. The base locks onto a flat surface for security and each container is accompanied with an accurately fitting, durable, locking lid for safety and cleanliness, since the contents will be processed at an incredible pace. My family and I, as well as numerous others we know of, have been struggling with the disappointing and frustrating inferiority of those previous, old-fashioned units or modern blenders- inclusive of claims of so-called professional grade models. The inefficient results of those models leave the user feeling as if they failed when, conversely, product manufacturer's claims failed the consumer. Then, so unfortunately, the user gives up and returns to seemingly convenient, processed, readily prepared but unhealthy junk foods. The amazing efficiency of "Ninja's" enhancements will, instead, make you feel like a winner and provides nutritional benefits that will make you feel healthy. Availability of the "Ninja Kitchen System-1200" at Best Buy leaves you assured of paying a reasonable price and while, fair pricing of excellent quality products is a definite consideration to me, the nutritional enhancements of this great product and, investing in my own family's nutrition, had been my primary considerations. You may likely question, "Why, in this world, would this person whom we don't even know say so many good things on this product review?", and that's a very understandable point. My answer is straightforward in that more people need to exhibit good-faith and share knowledge with one another of helpful stuff, and I can only hope at least some others may join me in spreading good -faith. In any event, we can certainly still care for ourselves, so join me in purchasing this fantastic product and begin living a healthier lifestyle.

    Dead after 1.5 years

I bought this blender locally because I did not have the money for a vitamix, Well it was a big mistake. The big blender pitcher was never really that great it always left my drinks gritty even after having it on for minutes at a time, plus it would leak through the pour spout on top even if I was under the max line. So I basically bought a blender to only use the processor and single serve cups -.- . Now the processor wasn't bad but I noticed it started collecting grime on the bottom near the part that the base connects to to make it actually spin and also in the handle. Both of which cannot be cleaned because you would need to unscrew the bottom part to get to the grime and when I went to go do that I noticed where the screws are the plastic was cracked, meaning if I took the screws out the plastic would crumble and I wouldn't be able to get it back together and it would be useless. And the single serve cups were to only way I could make smoothies and they were always waaay to small and also would leak. But mainly my reasoning for the bad review is because of what happened the other night. I plugged my blender in and it tripped my outlet, So I reset the outlet and plugged it in again, pressed power, nothing happened the light didn't come on. So I reset the outlet again same thing nothing happened, tried a different outlet, nothing happened. Tried something else in the outlet to make sure it wasn't my outlets and the hand mixer turned on. Very upset, I took the blender to another outlet somewhere else in the house and still would not come on. I've only had this blender for a year and a half and it is already dead. Don't waste your money on this faulty blender...

I had heard a lot of good times about the Ninja Blenders; some friends and family members have purchased them. I wanted to get one but was a little reluctant because of the price - the model I liked was $200. I decided to purchase it because of all of the health benefits it could provide. Of course, as I am checking out, I am asked by the cashier if I would like to purchase Best Buy's warranty in addition to the one that comes with the blender (1 year). With the money I was already spending, I decided not to. Unfortunately, less than a month later, the pitcher became defective (the part that spins the blades literally dropped out from the bottom of the pitcher). I took the blender back to Best Buy and was sorely disappointed when I was told because I hadn't purchased their warranty, I would have to deal with the manufacturer. I have heard of nightmares of friends calling Customer Service lines and not being able to get any useful help whatsoever. Additionally, I would have to pay for the shipping - I was not happy. I went to Ninja's website and noticed that they have a Chat you can use. I thought, "why not"? I clicked on the chat link, got a quick response, told my rep Megan what my problem was and waited for the list of charges and detailed instructions I would have to follow to fix the problem. Megan asked me four questions: 1) how can I help you; 2) what is the model number; 3) where did you purchase it; 4) what was the date you purchased it. She then asked me for my address and told me she was sending me a replacement pitcher at no cost to me and that I should be receiving it by FedEx in 3 to 5 business days. WHAT???? I don't have to pay anything? We don't have to argue back and forth? I don't have to call you names? This is what I call REAL customer service. Needless to say, I am a customer for life!!!

I was reluctant at first to spend this kind of money on a blender/food processor, but had heard so many great things about the brand, and wanted something that would hold up to regular use. I decided to take the plunge, after all, you get what you pay for, right? Well, it was great for the first three months or so of use, even making smoothies 4-5 days a week. Then, I started noticing some fine, hairline cracks in both the blender and processor bowl. I should’ve said something then, but didn’t. Now, it’s less than one year since I purchased this and the processor bowl is completely cracked open and leaking brown liquid everywhere, and the blender bowl is not far behind. I took the screws out to take the bottom off and was horrified by what I found. I’m very upset that this pricey piece of equipment didn’t even make it a full year before I had to start throwing parts of it out. Ninja really needs to make glass bowls for their blenders if they are going to charge that much. Will not purchase again.

The Ninja System has become one of my family's daily used utensils. I make smoothies in the single-serve cups every morning for me & the kids. I also use these cups for making quick nut-butters or bread crumbs (from croutons). Clean up is super easy if you do it right after using. The pitcher blade is easily removed but a little tricky to clean if you've got something thick on it. It was a little confusing when I first started getting used to how the lids work because you have to match the arrows and secure the lid down before the machine will even start - great safety feature since the blade is not secure without the lid. There are several pieces to this system, and they're pretty clunky and difficult to store. I don't worry about that too much tho, since I still use the machine daily. That being said, I still recommend it to my friends & they have bought it based on my recommendation and are happy with it too. All-in-all I am very satisfied with this purchase, its the best machine I could afford while I'm working my way up to a VitaMix!

    Great Blender Better Customer Service

This blender works great. It is very powerful, it will blend up anything, it is versatile and smoothies are so good for you. We even purchased a food processor/cheese grater attachment (have to purchase directly from ninja) and it works terrific. The only complaint is that it is very noisy, even to the point of insanity. All the other comparable, expensive blenders are quite loud also. There was a problem with the blade base for the small, single serving blender containers. I called the manufacturer to get a replacement blade base and they sent me a completely new blender and full set of blender containers. They also sent me a return label for the old unit and accessories. Once I received the new unit and set it up, full knowing that it was working well, I sent the old back. That is one of the best warranty return customer service experiences I have ever had with any company. The only other companies that have comparable warranty service is Apple and Nintendo.

I just love my ninja. I am always a little apprehensive about spending a lot of money on something that claims to be the great and has constant infomercials. But I have to say, I would have paid more for this....My son makes fruit smoothies every day and uses the personal cup that comes with it. I have used the processor for just about everything but my favorite is making tomato sauce fresh from tomatoes. Is crushes the tomatoes just perfect. I really bought it for the use of the dough blade, I like to make pizza dough and cookie dough. It works wonderful. After you use this blender for tropical drinks you will throw your old blender out. Unlike other machines I have that you avoid to use because it takes too long to clean and not worth the effort. The ninja cleans up really easy. No cracks or crevasse that things can get caught up in. I have to say, I never review anything but I really felt this was something to share...

I have only owned this product for about a week and used it a couple of times for Margaritas and smoothies. The product does perform well, and includes several useful accessories, if you have space to store them. The build quality on the other hand, leaves much room for improvement. The 72 oz. pitcher and 8 cup processor bowl is made from cheap plastic that will not stand up to heavy use year after year. The single serve cups are also plastic (to be expected) but seem to be of okay quality, comparable to other travel mugs/cups. With light use and proper care this blender can serve you well for many years, but a heavy user can expect to replace this item after a year or so. I would only recommend this product for light use or to someone who's budget doesn't allow them to invest in a higher quality product or if you truly need/want all of the accessories this includes. I believe you can find a less expensive, higher quality blender that will produce similar results if you do a little research. When it's time for me to replace, I will invest in a better product.

After fighting with our old Oster blender, we decided it was time to invest in another blender that could make a decent smoothie and be easy to clean. We researched blenders on the market and were impressed with the comments and rating of the Ninja. We do a lot of baking, so we were also interested in the food processor accessory. Everything about this system is awesome! Makes a great smoothie and we chopped nuts in the processor. We ordered it on Wednesday at 5:30 pm and it arrived 2:30 pm on Friday. No shipping cost and fantastic delivery time. Will definitely consider Best Buy again. Price was cheapest anywhere. Also purchased the protection plan for $29.99 for 2 years - BB will replace if anything happens to this bad boy. Definitely substantial. Really strong suction cups that hold it to the counter for stability. And blades are super sharp - blood has already been shed. Bottom of container is large and flat so it's easy to load and clean. Frozen fruits don't get bogged down. We are really satisfied so far.

Great all in one kitchen appliance. Does everything it says it will. Except blend hot things. It shut down on a me a few times. Not sure if it was because my kitchen was too hot, or if it was because the potatoes i put in it were hot still. Either way, that shouldn't happen given the book says you can blend soup in it. When the potatoes did finally come out....they were the smoothest thing ever! And yes, it really can whip a merangue, and despite not having traditional juicer parts, truly can juice things. If you want your juice more "store bought" you'll have to strain the pulp yourself tho, and add a little water to some things, like carrot juice. Also, the plastic may be BPA free, but it scratches easily when using the scouring part of a sponge. I suggest using soft things to clean it. Or get best buys protection and continue to get a new one.

got it for Christmas. I got the Ninja pro package that is the same like this one but has extra, personal smoothie container and other things. the machine is really big and take over the counter but the worst thing about it is that without the little personal containers you can't get a liquid smoothie. i think it is a bad design of the blades. it chop the fruit and veggies but if you just use this large one you will feel chunks of food. no matter how long i ran it for, i still had to chew the chunks. i have to use the large container first and then transfer smaller amount to the small one to make it drinkable. for this price you have a lot of better choices. this one is going back. the container are made with cheap plastic and after couple of days the seal on the small one ( not coming with this package) started to stretch and not sealing it anymore. we own a 12 year old one that does a better job.

First of all the blender claims to be very powerful and it is. The downside to that is that it's very noisy. I'm not really complaining because it's not like one uses a blender for long time, I mean you use it for a minute or so and that's it. The single serve cups are what I really love about the ninja. They are really convenient to make a quik post workout shake or smoothie. Now to what I don't like about it. The large blender blades leave a lot to be desired. They really don't do a very good job at cutting up whatever you put in there. I bought the blender to replace my old one not to make smoothies. The blades are on a sort of stem and I feel it also needs a set of blades on the bottom of it like a conventional blender. I feel it's missing this because unless you're filling up at least half of the pitcher, it's doesn't do a very good job of blending. I really can't comment on the dough mixer because I haven't used it. The blender itself feels solid and I think will last. I just wish the pitcher was made out of glass not plastic.

My wife and I were looking to buy a blender under $50.00. However, our Best Buy Sales Person, Timothy, showed us this Ninja. He fully explained all of it's features and mentioned that there were an abundance of things it does that we would eventually really appreciate. He was right. This device has been great. We use it very often for blending and juicing. It's very powerful and does the job efficiently. We probably would not have purchased this unit if it would not have been for the expert advice and help from Timothy and his boss Billy. Everytime my wife and I visit the Aventura store #558 we are treated like family. It's the best place in the world to shop. I've been all over the world and I can honestly say that these Best Buy Aventura employees and managers are second to none. Many congratulations to Raphael (GM) for developing such a wonderful staff.

I've worn out blenders. Many blenders. I use them to make things like hummus. After burning out the motor in a cheap blender obtained by another big box *on the first use,* the carcass was chucked because it would have cost more in gas than to return it. The Ninja came with lots of stuff that I thought I'd never use. Now, we have smoothies, granola, and hummus. This has so much torque that it exhibits a desire to rotate in the opposite direction of blade spin. It goes through *everything* in a fraction of the time that any other blender would take minutes to process. It works so well that it justifies the higher price, *and* it's so quick that it makes it worthwhile to use the attachments. If you are on the fence, hop off. If you remember the old infomercials, well, they weren't kidding. This thing really is a ninja.

I have sold professional food service equipment for over 15 years. I also happen to be a certified chef. I was quite skeptical of buying a product that runs on info-commercials. I was looking for a blender and also a food processor for home use. When I tallied up the price tag for two separate units, it was 2X what I paid for this combo with the added benefit of additional individual single "bullet" containers. It is loud. But, it is powerful. I am skeptical if the thin tines on the blades will hold ip but it has a three tier helical set-up, so I am pretty confident that it will hold up. The vessel design is very solid and rugged. The "dummy proof" aspect of locking it closed is very nice. The locking lid is also very nice and intuitive. Overall, I can see this unit performing well for many generations.

Incredibly powerful motor. Easy to use even if you do not read the instructions. The instructions and recipe booklets are simple and easy to follow however. Be very careful handling the blender and food processor blades. They are both very sharp. This unit makes snow from ice with ease. The only issue is for speeds 2 & 3 and single serving cup speed, the unit is very loud. The lids for the blender and the food processor bowl might take a few tries to master but nothing will leak with them in place. This system might seem expensive but it is an excellent value. Highly recommended.

I was highly skeptical of spending much more than $50 on a blender. I read reviews on this product, and they finally sold me. Once I received my Ninja, I put it to the test immediately. I was not disappointed. For diet shakes, the blender turns your shake (with ice) into a smooth beverage that's easy to drink. The processor was also included with the purchase, and I used that to make homemade salsa. I don't know if I can go back to bottled salsa ever again after making my own with my Ninja. I use it at least twice a day, and I haven't had a single issue so far. I am very happy with my purchase, and it was well worth the money - especially if it keeps performing this well for years to come.

This set is awesome! I decided to upgrade from a regular Black & Decker blender after it started smoking during use (I make this smoothies). This Ninja system comes with the standard blender, a prep container and two blending cups you can take on the go. The power of this appliance is amazing and the blades are SHARP. While cleaning it after I just got it out of the box I sliced a finger pretty good. So, be careful when you clean the parts. All of the containers are made of very thick plastic and I feel like they wouldn't even crack if they were dropped from a few feet. It is very convenient to have one base that has a full-size blender, smaller smoothie cups, as well as a modified food processor that you can make cookie dough in! I'd highly recommend this product to anyone who uses a blender a lot for smoothies.

So it was time to retire the Oster food processor I inherited many years ago. So far this ninja has done everything I have thrown at it and more. I couldn't be more happy with it. Others have written that it is loud, I really do not notice the noise. I have crushed ice, all sorts of frozen fruits even used frozen fruit to create ice cream and the product was still frozen when I finished, all sorts of fresh veggies. I have been following recipes from Dr Furhmann and every recipe seems to have some sort of processor or blender needs. In the last 2 month I have lost 16lbs (not over weight 6' 3" 220lbs but for high cholesterol) and I attribute the ninja to being a part of this transformation and allowing me to eat and drink healthier!!! Thank you!!!

I bought my Ninja in January 2017. I was excited to replace my blender and food processor with one machine that did everything. We loved it and used it daily for the first few weeks. Then it went into the cupboard for occasional use. Loved that it was an all-in-one. Unfortunately, the warranty expired a week before the food processor bowl (the one I used the least) broke. Very disappointing that it couldn't hold up to even occasional use. Not worth spending $160 on something that only lasts one year. Pros: * Can blend anything * Love all of the different tools and blades * Super sharp blades * Will not work if lid is not on Cons: * Broke one week after the one year warranty. * No way to control the speed
