Customers are saying

Customers have good things to say about the Smart DoubleStack XL Air Fryer's ease of use, large capacity, and space-saving design. Many appreciate its cooking performance and the included thermometer's accuracy in achieving desired doneness. While some find the controls could be more intuitive and the noise level a bit high during operation, the positive feedback on its size and cooking capabilities outweighs these concerns. The Smart Finish feature, allowing for simultaneous cooking of different items, is also a highlight for many users.

Very cool unit! The Ninja - DoubleStack XL Smart 10 QT air fryer is a genius design! It is surprisingly compact yet offeres a totalof 10 quarts of airfrying capacity. But what's cool, is they break it up into two 5 quart drawers. To make it even cooler and more functional, each drawer can set for a different time and temp. In addition to all of that, each bin has an optional wire grate so you can cook 2 seperate items at the same time in each bin. This was clearly designed with a small foot print to save counter space. It was also designed to fit on the counter and slip in just under the cabinets of most modern houses. My house is a little older and it is just about a quarter inch too tall, but it should great for most. If that is not enough, it also comes with a built in thermometer so you can get that chicken (or whatever else) to the perfect cooked temp and remove whe it's perfect. They thought of everything! I have had multiple Ninja products over the years and I have never been dissapointed. So far, this air fryer meets my previous experience. Overall build quality is great. It's easy to use, intuitive and stunningly versatile! The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star rating is that the chord strikes me as unusually short. I wish they would have added a few inches to the chord length. Other than that, this is an excellent choice and I would reccomend to a friend.

Ninja is slowly taking over my kitchen with all their appliances. The quality and convenience of their products are literally 2nd to none. The DoubleStack XL replaced my ol' reliable due to the amount of food it can cook at the same time. When I received the box, I initially feared that it would not fit on my countertop or just take up too much space. Once it was out of the box and even next to my old air fryer, the design was perfect for my needs. The 2 giant 5 quart baskets can cook up to 4 different types of food at the same time using the included racks. Not only can you air fry, there are 5 more options to cook with including Broil, Bake, Roast, Dehydrate and Reheat. So far with the food I make, I have only used the air fry, broil and reheat the most. Behind the display is the optional temperature probe you can plug into the bottom fryer (see pic) and can monitor the temperature to make sure perfect cooking. The picture does not lie by the way. I put an entire chicken into one of the baskets and it fit perfectly. Other things I loved to cook was crispy spicy chicken tenders that I cut into my salads, fries and tater tots. Everything came out delicious and extra crispy (especially when using the included racks). Another thing I did was reheat my mom's leftovers when she made me homemade eggrolls and potstickers. Also, I used to preheat my air fryer, but for the Ninja, it isn't required. I am almost using the Ninja on a daily basis when cooking my meals and just love it. One cool feature I absolutely love is the Smart Finish option. What I did was in one basket I put my chicken tenders and the other basket was fries. What it does is start the food with the longer timer 1st and when the other basket's cook time is reached, it starts that one so they both finish at the same time! No more setting up multiple timers and making sure I try to time things right or make 1 thing at a time making the 1st cool down too much. The other option is Match Cook. It does what it implies. If you are making the same thing in both baskets it matches the temp and timer to cook more quantity in half the time. As mentioned before, I love this Ninja DoubleStack and wished I got one sooner. I am spoiled with the features it includes and can't see myself wanting to use any other brand. The convenience of 2 baskets in 1 makes it a top choice for the market.

The Ninja Smart DoubleStack XL 2-Basket Air Fryer 10qt is a game-changer for anyone who loves quick, crispy meals with less oil. With its dual-basket design, this air fryer allows you to cook two different foods simultaneously, each with its own temperature and cooking time. This flexibility makes it perfect for families or meal prepping. The 10-quart capacity is large enough to handle meals for 4-6 people, and the Smart Finish feature ensures both baskets finish cooking at the same time, no matter the food type. Whether you're air frying, roasting, baking, or dehydrating, the Ninja excels in versatility and ease of use. The crisping performance is top-notch, with food coming out golden and crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. The digital control panel is intuitive, and the Easy-to-Clean non-stick baskets make post-cooking cleanup a breeze. However, it is on the bulkier side, so make sure you have enough counter space. Overall, the Ninja Smart DoubleStack XL is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to save time without sacrificing flavor or quality. Pros: Dual-basket design for multi-tasking Large 10-quart capacity Excellent crisping and even cooking Easy to clean with non-stick baskets Multiple cooking modes for versatility Cons: Larger footprint, requires ample counter space Can be a bit noisy during use

    Feature rich but adds complexity

Coming from an older PowerXL 5.3 quart air fryer with 3 buttons, the new Ninja DoubleStack has 4 times more buttons and features that I never knew I needed from an air fryer. Not only does this new Ninja DoubleStack have time and temp like my older PowerXL, it also does Air Broil, Bake, Roast, Reheat, Dehydrate along with the standard Air Fry. The Ninja is double in cooking capacity as my older PowerXL and still fits underneath my cabinets while taking up the same footprint as before (see my pic). With the extra features and buttons, using the Ninja does have a bit of a learning curve. With two separate drawers, you first have to turn the machine on, select the basket, select the cooking mode, finalize your cooking temps and time and hit start. A lot more steps than simpler air fryers and this is where I would allow it because of the other advance features. Not only can you cook two drawers at different times and temps, you can also have them finish at the same time with the “Smart Finish” button. A good example where I would use this is when I make my kids chicken nuggets and French fries. The chicken nuggets need shorter time and lower temps than the fries. I put frozen chicken nuggets in the top drawer at 375f for 7 minutes. I put the frozen French fries in the bottom drawer at 400f for 15 minutes. Hit the “Smart Finish” button and the French fries will start, then the chicken nuggets will automatically start later so both nuggets and fries will be done at the same time. The ”Smart Thermometer” was complicated at first to learn but pretty awesome when you figure it out. What the smart thermometer does is that the Ninja air fryer has a built in temp probe you can plug in that you can monitor your internal temps and stop the cook accordingly. I tried chicken breast and it worked amazing (see pics). I first put Brussel sprouts coated in olive oil and salt in the top drawer at 400f for 15 minutes. Then seasoned and placed chicken breasts in the bottom drawer with the temp probe in the meat and plugged into the front port. Set which type of protein it is, my desired doneness and the time will automatically be set based on how it’s cooking. Chicken should be cooked to 165f internal temp and the air fryer automatically turns off when it hits your desired temp. No more guessing and poking your meats with a temp probe. Simply set and forget! In summary, I do highly recommend this air fryer to anyone that has a large family to feed. It’s relatively a small footprint for the capacity and all the features will make you feel like a complete cooking pro. The many buttons and different cooking modes can add complexity and might not be for you if you’re only looking simple time and temp type of cooking.

Pros: Air fryer works very well and is super easy to clean. The size and dual baskets may it very easy to cook either small or large quantities. Most appliances make it easy to spot temperatures like 300, 325, and 350 but it's not as easy to spot 335 or 345. This model makes it very easy since it uses buttons and allows you to set in 5-degree increments. I love that. The stacked design saves a lot of counter space. I'm very short, and I was hoping that this thing wouldn't be too high. I was concerned that I may not be able to look down into the top basket easily - but that has not been a problem for my 4'9 height. Neutral: This model is noisy - especially the cooling down period after a cook is completed - but the good news is that the cooking down noise doesn't last for more than a minute or two. Cons: In my opinion, the temperatures don't have enough flexibility. In Air Fry and Reheat Mode, the range is only 300 to 400. If I want a higher temp, I am forced to use a different method such as Broil. If I want a lower temp, I am forced to use Bake or Roast, which both go down to 250 but max out at 400. If the temperature range had more flexibility, I would have given it 5 stars.

    Tower of Cooking Power

This air fryer makes cooking for a larger family easy peasy. Each basket already has twice the ability of most air fryers with the metal rack that creates two levels. I've owned several air fryers and I don't know why this isn't a standard feature. Not only does it create more space, but the rack allows more air flow to the food on the rack, making food extra crispy! One basket would already make me happy with the cooking ability, but there's two! So many options with this air fryer. You can make a meal with mains and sides with the touch of a few buttons. This air fryer also features a meat thermometer so you can cook meat without worrying about it getting overdone. I never thought to cook steak in an air fryer, but tried it out with a piece of flank steak, and it came out with a nice char and perfectly cooked to medium rare (with french fries cooking below it). The one main con about this air fryer is the size. It is tall and long. I can't think that many people have a cabinet tall enough for this air fryer to be stored in. I luckily have one cabinet, but it is higher up, and because this device is also on the heavy side, I have to be the one to put it away and get it out. So just a consideration if storage is a concern for you. It's also on the loud side when it cooks. One cooking tip: it has suggested cooking times all over the materials, but I feel it cooks faster. So just monitor your food until you get used to the cooking power. All in all, definitely the best air fryer I've ever used. Highly recommend!

Waiting on the oven can be a war with inpatient children. With this you get all your snacks and frozen stuff in a quarter to half the time, and usually cooked to perfection. 2 trays means you can cook your meal at once but items can have different settings.

I absolutely love the Ninja Stacked Small Space Air Fryer! As someone who values efficiency and organization, this air fryer is a game-changer. The stacked design is perfect for small kitchens or limited counter space, yet it still offers plenty of capacity to cook meals for my family. One of the standout features is the dual independent baskets, which allow me to cook two different foods at once without flavors mixing. It’s incredibly convenient for preparing a full meal without having to use multiple appliances. Plus, the Smart Finish technology ensures everything is ready at the same time—no more juggling cooking times! The air frying function delivers crispy, delicious results with minimal oil, and I love that it can also bake, roast, and reheat. The controls are user-friendly, and cleanup is a breeze with the nonstick, dishwasher-safe baskets. If you’re looking for a space-saving, versatile air fryer that doesn’t compromise on performance, the Ninja Stacked is a fantastic choice. I highly recommend it!

I've had the same old front loading air fryer you'd typically see, I was looking to upgrade to the 2-Basket Air Fryer that Ninja has, this is the end seems like the winning ticket. The double stacked design makes this just as big as our existing air fryer, but moving the controls to the side allowed both 5qt compartments to simply stack on top of one another and save some space on our counter. In the box your get the Ninja Doublestack XL and a guide and a couple other informational pages. The thermometer sits behind the control panel ready to use when needed. Both 5qt compartments have a rack inside to crisp on the bottom and crispier top. The quick start guide provides a few meal ideas and some cook settings and times for guidance. Air Fryer is the main part of the title that stands out at first, but it has quite a few features to provide you with more meal options in one machine. Each tray can be set individually or you can match cook allowing the same cook, temp and time to both. The Ninja DoubleStack XL can be used to Air Fry, Air Broil, Bake, Roast, Reheat and Dehydrate. As mentioned before, I was looking for an air fryer with two compartments, the boys always like to have their frozen snack and never wanting the same. This gives the option to heat both up independently, not having to wait for one to be done before cooking the other. If you pull open the basket it will continue the cooking cycle, so be sure to pause as it doesn't automatically do this. These multi-functional machines that Ninja has out are great! We have mostly been using this for Pizza Rolls, Corn Dogs, Chicken Tenders and Nuggets. The Air Fry functionality is amazing and shows off the sort of crunch you can get with a well made machine. I am curios to see if I can find some other recipes online, the one that I am looking to do is the meat loaf, really curious to see how that would come out!

We have used this a handful of times now and it works very well. I made wings a couple times and I can not say they come out better than in the oven but easier. You do not need to preheat a large over so its faster. It is easy to clean. You still need to turn the wings over to get them even but if you don't you will still have good wings. It makes a really good Ribeye and gives you a nice caramelized finish on the outside. I am sure as we get better at using it I will dial things in for an even better finish. They demonstrate two layers of food for each try, and I feel like that would affect how well air circulates and would diminish results. That said I have not tried it yet so it is just an opinion right now. We made a whole chicken as well, took it out early twice and cut into it each time to find it was not done. That will take practice. EVEN WITH cutting it when we did remove it the chicken was really moist and very good.

When my wife and I first got a no name brand air fryer, we weren't about it. We got this through a Best Buy drop on a whim and have used it in some way for almost every meal since we got it. The multi-level per basket has us making 4 things in it at the same time. The smart cook feature lets us put in different items at different temps for different times and it syncs it up to be done at the same time. Lastly, we don't really have a ton of counter space so the stacking baskets make this the perfect space saving option without sacrificing the basket space. 10/10, would recommend to my best friend and worst enemy
