it's good, very high speed, don't know if that is what is always needed. When making nut butters or grinding hard objects to powder or butter it scratches the plastic surface and makes the containers look frosted, never to be the same as when new. I have only made a few smoothies and they were good, well mixed. Don't know if using ice will also scratch the plastic surface. I am thinking the more hard objects to scratch the surface, soon you won't be able to see through.

The Ninja Twisti High Speed Blender Duo is a great blender. Following are my observations after testing it out: - The blender comes well-packaged, with the electric base and 6 individual pieces, plus a recipe booklet, a flyer with a couple of recipes and a brief description of "Drinkable" vs "Spoonable" functions, a Quick Start Guide and an Information Guide. - Assembly and use is quite easy, with easy to follow instructions on using all the settings for drinkables and spoonables (bowls). - I love the fact that all the pieces (except the electric base) are dishwasher safe. This makes for very easy clean-up. - I tested the blender out by making a smoothie first, using frozen vegetables and fruits, and fruit juice. I filled the single serving cup, screwed on the blade assembly and then turned the cup upside down, clicked the assembly into place and used the Smoothie option, which is preprogrammed. The control panel shows the length of operations until it will be finished. If the smoothie is thicker than you like, you can add extra juice and/or use the pulse button to continue until it is at your desired thickness. It made a very good smoothie with no chunks and a nice smooth texture. - I also tested out making a smoothie bowl using the pitcher. I just poured in milk, frozen fruit and vegetables and used the preprogrammed "Bowl" setting. It made a smoothie bowl with nice thick smooth consistency, almost like a gelato. It took very little time, less than a minute. - The blender has no trouble blending liquids and fresh or frozen fruit and vegetables to a smooth, creamy texture. I am very pleased with the power and how well it blended up the frozen fruits and vegetables, as I have had problems with other blenders handling the frozen items. - I feel like the size is a little more compact than other blenders I have previously owned. It's not as tall and the base is a little smaller. This is great, as I can leave it on my counter and it fits nicely under my cupboards. - I also love the fact when I am done mixing my smoothie, I can flip it over, remove the blade assembly and screw on a pop top lid and its ready to take with me and drink it on the go, right out of the cup I blended it in. There are two sizes of cups included, with two lids, as well as the pitcher. - I really don't have anything I dislike about this blender. I would say it seems a little louder than other blenders I have used, but I believe that is because it is a more powerful blender. This is a great blender and I'm looking forward to making blended margaritas and using it for various other spreads and drinks, as well as for my daily smoothies.

I like this blender. It blends well but is a little loud.

this is a high quality blender great for prepare juice, smoothie and my green juice. Also I cook some sauces for the Italian Pasta. If you like cook, it is a product that you should have.

Use this daily for my smoothies as well as general cooking. Very powerful and versatile. Different settings depending on what kind of blending you need to do.

It works very good,the only thing that is concerning that when you clean it you have to take the rubber band out and sometimes its hard to take it out.

This is the third Ninja branded blender that I have had the opportunity to test out. One thing that I have learned over the years is that Ninja makes a terrific blender. That said, my impartial opinion is that they scored again here with the Ninja Twisti High-Speed Blender DUO. Out of the box, the Twisti is sleek and stylish. Its aesthetic presence is very complementary to our minimalist countertop setup. We do have a small four-person family but like our counters relatively clear because our kitchen is just not that big. The unit is small but heavy and has two suction cup feet that lock it securely to the countertop. It comes with three jars. The 34oz pitcher with tamper, one 24oz nutrient extraction cup with spout lid, and one 18oz nutrient extraction cup with lid. The lids all have lock tight seals, and everything feels exceptionally well made. Operationally, the Twisti is a rock star. The unit quickly and easily chops through anything. The device has 1,600 watts of power and I am fairly sure that I could blend and puree a rock into a drink. For comparison, most kitchen counter blenders top out at around 1,200 watts. The Twisti said the heck with that and added 400 more watts. Using the pitchers tamper, you have complete and total texture control (as they worded it) of whatever you mix up. At first, I thought the tamper spikes were a bit gimmicky. However, I experimented with some of the recipes from the mini recipe book provided and found that by taking advantage of them you really are able to shove the product down to the teeth. We do have another blender with a drizzle feature and so we always use this because it is quite useful. Again, the appliance whips, chops, blends, and purees better than most blenders twice its cost. I do have some negatives to share though too. First off, those 1,600 watts are indecorously loud. Totally worth the noise but it is loud. I made smoothies for everyone one morning and by the looks I received from my entire family that morning it let me know how loud they thought it was too. Next, this one is a bit nit-picky in today's world, but I like a glass pitcher. I feel like they could have gone glass just as easily with the Twisti. The pitcher and jars are each very thick plastic and solid to the touch, so I am not discrediting them. This is just my opinion of what could have just made this unit standout that much better. Then I read on the back of one of the included pamphlets that the unit is dishwasher safe but to handwash with warm soapy water... I am not sure, me being me will continue to throw it in the dishwasher, I just found that strange. Wonderful performance, accompanied with a hip cool design. I think I am most impressed though with its puree ability from that motor. I make a spinach banana strawberry smoothie. But I like to puree as much of the spinach first as possible without any other ingredients. The Twisti goes to town on the pitcher and reminds me of those old old juicer commercials. It is a win for me, and I would highly recommend.

Wonderful blender. I turned it on and was shocked how powerful it was. I made a smoothie and that it was. Not a single chunk of frozen fruit. I recommend it.

So so beautiful color. That product is small and very util. And you can use the others 2 items. I have used to make juice. Recommend 100%

Great replacement for our 3rd nutribullet. Grandparents wanted something light and easy to use and this blends to perfection.

I was a little nervous as this was to replace my Ninja Smoothie Bowl Maker and Nutrient Extractor. I use it everyday! Morning coffee and protein and then juices later in the day. And this has surpassed my expectations! The smoothies are even creamier and the extractor gives you a fresh juice with minimal if any pulp. And the pitcher gives me the option to prep more than one at a time! I’m really happy with it and have already recommended it to my friends!

This machine is incredible! It has great power, it is definitely a great acquisition!
