The figure is great! Well designed and neatly done. I bought these for my six-year-old daughter, who is a Mario nut. She did not realize it was not poseable, niether did I. Needless to say, she tore his hand off the first day. Nothing a little crazy glue wouldn't fix, but that's not the problem. It's the concept of the Amiibo that I don't get. In Super Smash Bros., it is its own player. What's the fun in that? To recap: Figure is an awesome but delicate little collectible that plays your games for you in case you are too lazy or not in the mood to handle a controller.

These are fun! I like that they work with several games instead of just one title (like the Infinity and Skylanders). Granted, I don't feel like they do as much as the previously mentioned titles, but it's cool that you don't need anything extra. You just put the character on your game pad (you don't have to buy extra pieces) and use it with your game.

It's a great little plastic statute. No it's not worth $80 like Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, or Villager (why didn't someone tell me Nintendo was discontinuing those when they were abundant? I could have retired.) but it's a great little representation of Mario. And you can do things with it in certain games too, I haven't done anything with that yet.

These figures are awesome especially Mario! I really really like using my MArio Amiibo with my friends for added fun in super smash bros.

I'm collecting these figures when they're available (the only downer with this whole Amiibo thing...). The quality is great... the paint is perfect on all the figures I have and the details make them worth every penny to me. I open them, but display them more than use them for games. Either way, pretty cool figures.

Nintendo amiibos are more than just collectables, they're functional collectables. Many new wii u games have amiibo functionality for unlocking items, stages, etc. the figures themselves are very well constructed and well-made. It's hard to just get one, once you start buying them!

I thought that they would be able to play with these characters, however, they are able to train them. As well as fight alongside them, have them fight for you, or against you. Its Awesome. Great thing about this one, is that you can use it for 3 different games.

This mario Amiibo is perfect for playing or just for putting it on display.

If your kids are really into Amiibos, this is a great one to add to their collection. From my experience, get it when available. Once an Amiibo is hard to find, you usually pay more for it if you have to get it through Amazon or EBay....

As a child of the 80s, I grew up playing Nintendo games and have been a fan of their franchises ever since. Their new Amiibo line is a great way to add special functionality to some new games – but it's also cool just to have little statues of the characters on display by the game system. They make for a good collectable – that is, if you are into (and can afford) such a hobby.

This is a great mini figure. My son loves to play with this, and it handles pretty sturdy. I have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old, both play with the figure, and toss it, but it still stands, and it still works. And the detail is excellent.

Mario is probably, not surprisingly, the best looking amiibo. He's a simple character, but it seems like they put in a lot of effort to make him look great. He has the semi-translucent fire ball that looks great, but his overalls have texture to them that looks great up close. Paint on my figure seems to be the most accurate of any others I have. Also - He works with 3 games right now, and will probably work with a ton of games in the future, so you will get a lot of content out of this character in the future.

Amiibo's are Nintendo's way of entering the interactive figurine game, and so far it has boomed quite well for them. It does what it needs to, give small bonuses in the games it works on for the Nintendo Wii U.

Mario is back and looks better then ever. His figure captures a great pose with a trademark fireball. Works with Smash Bros on Wii U. A good first Amiibo for any fan of Nintendo. Level him up to lv50 in the game.

My brother wanted one and I didn't see the big deal until I bought one. This thing has great detail and records the player's style of play. Pretty cool to be fighting myself in ge and see my flaws.

My son started his collection amiibo collection and is on his way so when it came time to get one of his "best friend's" a birthday gift, he insisted that his friend needed his own Mario too!!!

This Mario figures looks very good. The NFC feature is also nice. You can fight Mario is Super Smash Bros., unlock a Mario racing outfit in Mario Kart 8, and more. And it looks nice on my shelf.

My son used this for Smash Brothers, and trained him up to level 50. He loved to play against it, but at level 50 it got pretty tough to beat.

The Amiibo's are interactive toys that come to life when placed on your Wii U gamepad. Only a few games support the Amiibo's at this time, but the Wii U is coming out with more games soon.
