What can I say? I love my amiibo! Not only is it well made and just cool looking,but the functionality of it is great. You put in smash brothers and just touch it to the game pad. You train your amiibo how to fight. You can fight against him or you can have him on your team. You CAN'T control or play as the amiibo. He's like your buddy. You can watch him fight,you can have him on your team or fight against him. Not to mention you can take your amiibo to a buddy's house and upload your amiibo.

If you're thinking about collecting Amiibos then this is a must have for your collection. The detail on this figure is one of the best I've seen so far. A perfect little gift for the Mario / Nintendo Fan Boys.

My 10 year old is enjoying this and wants to get more.

It is what you would expect... A Mario Amiibo character that you can use with certain games.... You can also just collect them as collectables like me.....

Can't go wrong with Mario. This amiibo works on a lot of amiibo games. I missed out on the gold edition Mario Party Mario amiibo and will be planning on getting the limited edition silver Mario amiibo.

To be honest I just got it for my 3 year old because he was driving me crazy at the store. I do´t know how to use the toy neither does he. I bet you it is already under the bed like everything else.

This particular model is more fragile than the rest due to the flame off of the hand. My 2 year old loves playing with the Kirby and Samus models which seem darn near indestructible, but this one broke after two days. oh well, still works for the games.

I recently started my Amiibo collection ( I have about 12, tsk tsk tsk, not much) and I really enjoy seeing them in their packages and open them. Hopefully, I will have my own Amiibo glass display.

i'm a big smash fan and nintendo fan. these figure are not a must have to enjoy the game, but it is a nice collecting figure. very well details and up to nintendo stand IMO.

This Mario amiibo is the first figure I purchased for use with Super Smash Bros Wii U...it does the job and is a very well crafted figure! Great start to my collection!

Amiibo are pretty fun to play when trained. Customizing them is fun too. I put an led in the fireball and painted him to make him an ultimate fire flower mario.

The original #1 amiibo. Will be strange times soon, when the most common Mario soon disappears off the shelves, and becomes rare. Get him while you can!

Great addition to an already cool game "Super Smash Bros". Not only for Smash but also other games. Very cool concept to add to an already cool game. Get it!

Nice looking figure. But be careful the fireball can detach easy from the hand. With glue you could fix it. I wish more games used this figure tho.

It seems Nintendo is trying to jump on the figurine bandwagon with Skylanders and Disney Infinity. I'm not sure I'm a fan of the whole concept. It seems rather harsh to charge regular game prices just to get the game and then ding you an additional $10-15 a pop for the characters. So far I don't see the amiibo's providing much substance. They give you access to a racing uniform in Mario Kart 8. Cute, but certainly not worth $15 or whatever. They can also be used in Smash Bros but are by no means an essential part of the game. (Unlike Skylanders/Disney Infinity). Maybe if they play a bigger role in upcoming games they would be worth it, but so far, I would say don't bother.

I got this not for my Wii U, but as a nice geek decor item. it looks good and is a nice conversation pice. I have found some people put LEDs in them to light them up. Very cool looking

This is a must have for any Nintendo fan and especially an Amiibo collector. Game functionality is fun and the figurine is well crafted.

Kind of like a Skylander but does not have to stay on the NFC reader like the skylanders do.

This is a great way to get new content to use in games that you already own, just wish there was a more diverse selection in store.

This is such an iconic character. Nintendo has definitely stepped up on the gaming front by incorporating some new technologies.
