So unless you've been hiding in a cave the last 19 years, I think it's safe to say we all know who Pikachu is! Simple and cute design, just like his video game/cartoon counterpart. He is compatible with both the Wii U and 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. If you're not a fan of using him in that particular game, keep in mind that Pikachu's amiibo may become compatible with future games for the Wii U and 3DS (Pokemon games, etc.) so I got him mainly for that reason and I highly recommend him to any Pokemon fan.

We purchased the available Amiibo's at Best Buy for my son for Christmas. He loves having them all lined up when he plays his Wii. We all use them for Super Smash Brothers which is our favorite game to play as a family. The more you use them, the stronger the get! We really hope these catch on and they don't stop making them. Once we start collecting something, we don't stop until we have them all! It would be a shame if they get discontinued!

I bought the Pikachu Amiibo for my roommate for Christmas. I thought he could customize it for his own play style. I didn't do enough research at first. Allow me to tell you about what I didn't know before I bought it. THE AMIIBOS ARE COMPANIONS! YOU CANNOT FIGHT AS THE AMIIBO! (This is not necessarily a bad thing though) While I misunderstood the purpose of this product at first, we still opened it up and played around with it. We found ourselves playing for hours to teach it different tricks, level it up, and give it as many power ups as we could. Unfortunately, after a certain point, it learned our play styles and became too powerful. My roommates and I ended up having to team up against it 4vs1 in order to get close to beating it. They learn based on the fighting style of those that fight against it and the power ups they are fed. My suggestion is to find a strategy guide on how to train these little guys and go have fun with them.

I've got this amiibo so this will be a general review of the figure quality and it's in game use. Quality: These are great looking figures. I was very happy with the quality of all the figures. They feel solid, probably won't break with an accidental drop. Really nice to look at. You could display these and never use them in a game and it would be a nice looking collection. In game use: First thing you need to understand is that you don't need to buy any amiibos for any games. There are several Games like Smas Bros Wii U, Hyrule Warrios, Mario Kart 8, etc.

Another easy to find Amiibo that still works on the App. Hopefully Nintendo will realize people are hoarding these and selling them 4 times what they are worth and start making more! I showed up first thing in the morning last batch and the had one copy of Robin and Lucina? Come on,I want Nintendo to make them useable not just some fad that people are overpaying for on the Internet. If you are a game club member at Best Buy these run about 10 bucks a piece. Now if Nintendo developes more uses that's a great deal! A track suit? No thanks.

Pretty cool. Figure looks good. But it's what you'd expect from an Amiibo. It works in SSB on the 3DS, but that's all I've tested it with.

It isn't a rare amiibo by any means, but it's a solid design. Definitely worth it for collectors or kids looking to use it in Smash Bros.

This amiibo does exactly what it is supposed to do and works perfectly with my Wii U. Looks even better in person than in the pictures.

This amiibo is great for the Pokemon fans. The quality of the figure is very good and it is also fun to use it on Super Smash Brothers.

If you are new to the toys to life genre or are anxiously awaiting the next wave of amiibos you just can't go wrong here. Who doesn't love pikachu, I mean he's a cute yellow electric rat! Not to mention amiibos are usable on at least 3 games now and are already slated to interact with a number of games in the future making them the clear cut champ of the toys to life arms race. Do yourself and everyone one you've ever known a favor and go buy this right now! In fact buy them all!!! PAID FOR BY NINTENDO OF AMERICA

Another great Amiibo figure with great attention to detail and quality. It's a great addition to my collection!

This guy works for the new Switch games even though it doesn't say it on the back of the package. When the New Pokémon open world RPG comes out next year I am sure that this guy will have a special add on as they re-released him for the Switch like some others (Link, Mask of Majora, Wolf Link, and more). Any of these that says Super Smash Bros. or any even though they don't specifically say Switch will work.

Cool little figure. If you main him in smash, he's definately worth picking up.

My son had been asking me for figures for some time, and I finally got him some. He enjoys them a lot, and actually uses them for his games as well as collects them. The fact that they work with a number of games is great, so that we don't have to buy the same figures over and over for different games.

The Pikachu we see in the media and on all Pokemon designs has actually slimmed out over the years since its introduction back in the 1990s. I guess you could say this design is very fitting because it's actually more like the original design than the 'evolved' design (Raichu excluding!).

I'm a pretty big fan of some of the Toys to Life products. I have every Disney Infinity figure. Since that's been discontinued, I've shifted my efforts to collecting Amiibos. They are very well constructed and highly detailed, much like the Disney Infinity figures. If you're a big fan of certain games and or characters, collecting their Amiibos are fun, whether you're actually using them for a game, or just for display.
