This is the classic version of Solid Snake from the original Metal Gear Solid. The last time that I can remember that this series was on a Nintendo console was Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes for the Nintendo Gamecube. That being said, good luck finding another title that this will be compatible with besides Super Smash Brothers. This is a worth purchase though just for the amount for detail that was included in the sculpture.

The quality is great. Though it has a weird tendency to get misplaced and winding up under boxes.

Strange things have happened since i bought this item. One day there was a tiny box covering my snake amiibo and he had somehow moved to a different spot among my other amiibo. I didn't think much of it but the following day, the snake amiibo went missing and the tiny box was found across the hall. "weird" I thought and went about my day looking for the amiibo. Funny thing...that night a different amiibo (link) went missing also...but the tiny cardboard box that was across the hall was now where link had been before. Later that day, another amiibo went missing (charizard this time) and the tiny box had moved to where it had been. This same thing keeps happening every day....an amiibo goes missing and the tiny box is moved to where they are. This has been going on for some time. My last Amiibo went MIA this morning.....only as of an about an hour ago, snake suddenly popped up again right where I had put him before he disappeared. And I could swear I heard someone say "kept you waiting huh?" right before I noticed it was back. Should I be worried? (Jokes aside...love the product!)

Amiibo sculpts rarely disappoint. Solid Snake is rendered in fine detail that remains true to Nintendo’s commitment to quality. As with all Amiibos you can use this figure to unlock special digits goods on certain games (in this case Super Smash Bros Ultimate). Great for displaying too.

Snake was a great addition to the Smash series in general when he first appeared in Super Smash Bros Brawl on Wii, and then more recently on the Switch. His amiibo figure looks amazing even as just a figurine on the shelf with a lot of attention to detail.

I'm a big Metal Gear and Nintendo fan, so not only was I happy to see Snake return in Smash Bros, but also that he'd be getting his own amiibo figure! They've up-ed the quality of the molds with the latest releases, and Snake's definitely in that crowd- he looks great!

This Snake figurine looks great and is compatible with Super Smash Bros and other various games with amiibo rewards. Definitely worth the 15$ if you're a metal gear fan. Been waiting for years to have this man come home and he finally did with his big meaty thighs.

saw the previews and it was announced for the next wave of amiibos this year, love the details, i would had prefer another figurine collectible, but they are too expensive. This one will do for now, snake looks awesome, this bring back memores of mgs 3. Great add!

So this guy, he smoke cigarettes right? Yet he slithers all around this base without getting winded. Talk about unrealistic. He could at least say something about “I’m getting too old for this” or “my doctor told me to cut back.” Then he goes and kills some dude who is a cat but really good at shooting guns? Oh and a shaman guy with mini guns. What does it mean to be shaman? Then he kills his brother that’s really a clone of himself.. really makes you ponder your life’s decisions Anyways. This is a toy commemorating Kurt Russell’s mission to New York and it doesn’t disappoint. Except my wife... every time she walks into my office and sees a shelf full of toys. Talk about pondering life’s decisions.

I too was among the bunch who were sad to hear Snake got nerfed in one of the worst ways possible for Super Smash Brothers Ultimate. I am happy to report though that Sakurai and his team learned from fan outcry and gave back what Snake needed in this amiibo.

If you love the Metal Gear series and Snake, then this little Amiibo is for you. Highly detailed and looking solid, you can't go wrong. There isn't much Metal Gear merch that's generally available so pick it up before it's gone forever!

Solid Snake is back in Smash Bros and this time, he's bringing his own amiibo. Nintendo did a great job detailing Snake, and he's simply one of the best looking amiibos to date. Smash fans will be excited to get their hands on this guy.

I have to admit never thought we get Snake but here it is. The details are very well made and but no Box to use. If anyone played Solid Snake should give it a try. But for collectors get them before you can't find them at MSRP.

The functionality on these Smash Bros Amiibo hasn’t changed since Smash For WiiU, but the figures themselves are getting better and better in quality and detail. This new wave is just fantastic if you’re a collector.
