Amiibo from Nintendo are always high quality. I've never opened one and thought it was lacking detail, or made poorly. They always look and feel great. While they may not have particularly impressive functionality or impact in the video games they're intended to be used alongside, essentially functioning as a physical key to unlock DLC or add-ons, they always make for excellent Nintendo collectibles, looking perfectly in place among any video gaming memorabilia display. I was definitely disappointed with the recent price hike on every figure, however. The initial amiibo pricing was more fitting.

I got these in recently and the first thing my girlfriend mentioned was how much better they looked than the old Splatoon Amiibo (original girl and boy). The paint job is a lot better quality work and the paint itself is a lot better looking. There is a lot more colors being used than the previous ones. I haven't used the Amiibo saving feature yet though (you can save your settings, like motion or no motion controls, sensitivity, etc to the Amiibo and quickly load it up on any system). However I don't particularly like the pose or hair color chosen. I may look into custom painting this one with some acrylic paint.

It's an amiibo figure. Looks good, quality build. They're usually all kinda the same that way.

Missed out on this during the splatoon 2 era and managed to score this during the Splatoon 3 restocks. Love the details, and the inkling’s hair glows under a black light for a cute touch! The gear is great too!

Good value and quality, I originally did not want this but seeing it online convinced me.

Always a good buy, great for game play, good construction

To any Splatoon fans and/or amiibo collectors, this is another great addition to the amiibo series. The figure is colorful, has a fun pose and I especially love how the paint comes out of the base and holds the figure up. On top of that, it does provide some useful in game functionality such as unique gear and saving loadouts.

Even greater amiibo! I love this version of the amiibo. The color pops and the figure is beautiful. I like the in game bonus. This is a tremendous addition to my collection.

High quality amiibo I wish the tank and gun had actual liquid in them for display purposes but aside from that looks very nice

A solidly built amiibo figure by Nintendo of the Splatoon 2 character Inkling Boy. It works well in-game and looks good on a shelf.

Preordered the Amiibo in preparation for Splatoon 2 and unlike Splatoon 1, there is no additional story mode to go through. You do get gear from the Amiibo over playing time, but wish there was enhanced story mode to go along.

This amiibo is a nice figure to get for amiibo and Splatoon fans.

Color really pops, worth it for any collector. Detail is better than original splatoon amiibo.

These just keep getting better and better! 10x better than the original Splatoon amiibo in design and color. Done in the same style as Callie and Marie. Some solid in-game prizes. Love it!

Nice amiibo from the Splatoon series. Good quality and detail

This amiibo is really neat and has a lot of detail! I especially liked the detail of the ink tank being an actual 3 dimensional object that looks like it has ink inside. The splatoon 3 amiibos don't have that feature sadly. The ninja outfit it comes with is very neat as well!

I have the original Splatoon amiibos and the details here and the solidness in this figure are on par if not better than the first wave. Glad I bought them for sure!
