This Famicom variation of R.O.B. looks better than the original grey release Amiibo. This Amiibo is very detailed too.

The Famicon ROB Amiibo is the same as the ROB Amiibo, just a different color.

I have no nostalgia associated with R.O.B. but I always loved the Japanese Famicom colors over the Nintendo NES color scheme in NA which is the reason I chose to go with version of R.O.B. As a collectible figurine I love it but I haven't used it for any of my Wii U games. It looks great but you know if you want an Amiibo or not.

Such awesome fan service with this Amiibo. Thought I had to import one, but they brought it to us! Thanks Nintendo!

Most excellent attention to detail. Looks too cool. A must have addition for any collector. A sense of enjoyment from just looking at it.

It's just a R.O.B. Amiibo painted to look like his Japanese counterpart, which is enough for me to buy him, since he's one of my mains in Smash Bros. and I dig this color scheme for having a little more pop than his U.S. grey, grey, and grey color scheme. He's got a solid, detailed sculpt and some awesome details like his tiny "Family Computer Robot" logo and his jeweled eyes. Sadly he functions exactly like the other R.O.B. Amiibo and does not unlock any alternate costumes in games like Mario Maker or Yoshi's Wooly World. But since the other R.O.B. was only available in a 3-pack at GameStop it's nice to find this one at regular price.

Great little amiibo that's accurate to how rob really looks..

The color scheme is nice on this one, but the paint job doesn't seem as well done as on NES R.O.B.

If you already have the version of the R.O.B amiibo that was released last year, there really isn't a need to buy this version, unless you are an amiibo collector. I am, so I bought it to add to the collection :)

ROB wasn't great back in the NES days. Slow, clunky and didn't have a lot of support... but he looked cool. This is a great homage to the original. Glad to have it in my collection.

This amiibo looks great. The kids love it, even though they have no idea who it is. Who am I kidding, I don't even know who it is outside of being a SSB character.

Our Robotic Operating Buddy makes for a great amiibo. I would gladly recommend this to anyone looking to add a stable of Nintendo to their amiibo collection.

I was convinced the only way to obtain R.O.B. in his Japanese colors was to import one from Japan, but luckily Nintendo proved me wrong! This is a great amiibo.

It's noticeable how much detail they put into this amiibo and how much of a legacy it has with Nintendo for them to officially create two different variants.

The R.O.B. Amiibo is wonderfully detailed. I wish Nintendo would make the North American version in a separate box like this release. A definite purchase!

Of course, this is a well sculpted Amiibo, looks just like the robot. I'm not super fond of the pose, but it doesn't seem to bother my kids much.

For those of you who remember ROB from playing Gyromite, this is a cool little piece to have though it is in the colors of Japans Nintendo.
