this guy looks great! He's in an awesome pose and the detail on the figure is exceptional! It's good to see Nintendo stepping up their game in regards to appearance and inventory, they had plenty!

I collect amiibos so I had to get it, I was in line for 5 hours before store opened. The details on him are great, the color of the packaging lovely!

This amiibo looks fantastic and has crisp detail. Really love the wings and the blacks on him.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for a friend, and I should be thankful he's not one who collects these in the box, since it seems that ordering amiibo online from here is really hit or miss for collectors who prefer New in Box. The very first thing I noticed once this came in the mail was that the box looked like it sustained quite a bit of damage on all sides, making it look all crude. It had me worried about the condition of the box of the amiibo itself, since I at least wanted it to look presentable for once I do give it to him. While I was taking it inside, I could hear the amiibo moving inside the package, and most stores ship their products in a way so that they can't move much inside. When I opened the box, only two slim air bags were used, and the amiibo box itself was a bit dusty, and part of the cardboard was a little bent, but there was also a ding in the plastic; Both that would be deal breakers for collectors, but much to my relief, the figure itself wasn't damaged. I'm hoping that these would be packaged better for people who can't find these at their stores and want to add something to their collection. Overall, if you want this for a friend who just wants the figure itself, order this by all means. If you're a collector, just keep your fingers crossed about the packaging.

This is a great Amiibo figure. Very detailed. I was impressed with how the purchase of this specific item was handled. With Amiibo being so popular and hard to come by, Best Buy did a great job of handling these exclusive figures. I appreciated that they did not allow any kind of pre-ordering. I liked how a sales associate walked outside while we were waiting and started handing out papers that guaranteed we would be able to purchase one. It only took about 10 minutes to get in and out once the store opened. I also saved 20% because I'm a Gamers Club Unlocked member. Can't beat that! Great job Best Buy.

Smash bros. contains a wide variety of characters coming from a wide variety of art styles. So, seeing a figurine of Dark Pit next to Kirby ought to look weird, but it doesn't. The level of detail in the Dark Pit figure is high, from the feathers in his wings to the straps on his sandals, his outfit is complete and looks real good. This character also has a lot of depth for an amiibo, as he is holding out a staff. Be careful not to break it off.

Let me start by saying that I'm not really sold on the whole retailer exclusivity thing that Nintendo's going with, but I don't want to confuse that issue with the actual quality of Amiibo. This review will focus only on that. Now! That being said, I really do love this figure- it's the most detailed Amiibo I've gotten my hands on so far (right along side Samus). The figure itself is well crafted for Amiibo, very solid, and it looks good just about anywhere you feel like displaying it. The only issue I had with the figure portion was that the Monado (his sword) was slightly bent upon arrival (not uncommon among these figures), but with a bit of patience I've been able to bend it into a proper shape. It's a non-issue and easily fixed, so I wouldn't even consider it a problem. For the NFC portion- right now its uses are fairly limited, given that so few games are compatible with Amiibo. First, we'll talk about Smash Bros. Within that particular game, these are quite fun- it's essentially an NPC you can bring with you into Smash matches. You can change the costume, level it up through fights, and feed it items to boost its base stats. It learns and adapts to fight beside (or against) you, and it does this very, very well. However, you cannot "play as" your amiibo or use it in non-smash modes, likely since it would greatly unbalance the single player experience. While disappointing, it's understandable as this is supposed to be a game based on skill, not "how many items do I have to eat until I'm unbeatable?" This figure will also be compatible with the upcoming title Xenoblade 3DS, allowing you to unlock 3D models and music from the game itself.

First off I'd like to commend Best Buy for making sure there were ample quantities of Dark Pit available on release date. Everyone standing in line was able to get one and there were well over 40 of us. Second, the amiibo itself has a lot of nice detail to it and makes a nice addition to any amiibo collectors collection. Dark Pit is a quality character in my opinion in Super Smash Bros Wii U.

Great amiibo pretty good detailed, works great, and looks good on display

This figure is a well-built figure and works well with the Wii U and 3DS versions of Smash Bros. That's the main game it's used for, but it can also be used for Hyrule Warriors and will be usable in Super Mario Maker. If you can get a hold of one, you're one of the lucky ones as Amiibo are hard to come across, especially store-exclusive ones.

I wish more Dark Pits were available because it is a nice figure. It has a nice design that isn't just a re-color of the regular Pit. If you're able to find one you should pick it up, it is a nice companion for your amiibo set. Not as many uses for Dark Pit as other amiibo but still fun to use in Smash and Amiibo Tap.

Amiibos are not always easy to find especially if they are a store exclusive like Dark Pit is for Best Buy. Like others, I waited in line several hours before the doors opened. To make a long story short, it was worth it seeing the item in great shape and the figure nicely detailed. Definitely worth the effort to get.

I bought this figure because I had never seen it before. It's the dark version of Pit. Apparently it's hard to find. I love the detail in this amiibo figure and look forward to adding it to my collection and integrating it to my Super Smash Bros. Wii U game. Very happy with this purchase!

I picked up Dark Pit on the most recent Best Buy Amiibo restock, and I gotta say I love this one. As with most amiibo the build quality is pretty decent, and in my opinion Dark Pit's pose looks way better than regular Pit's (who I also have). Definitely grab him if you find him in store!

Pit is one of my favorite sculpts of all the amiibo, so when I saw that Best Buy had the exclusive Dark Pit, i knew I had to have it. It looks great and true to the game. Works with Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS.
