Like my review summary says "Got what I paid for". I picked up this amiibo the Day Super Smash Ultimate came out just so I would have a dedicated amiibo for smash. It looks great, the NFC on it was clean and now I get to "smash" away with Ridley on the game. I'm quite pleased with my purchase. Oh, and an added benifit, it's just a cool looking piece to add to my toy collection.

It's one of the best design and detail Amiibo. It can also use a pen holder.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate impliments amiibo compatibility like the previous game (Super Smash Bros for Wii U and 3DS) did and is releasing new amiibo for all new characters coming to the game, as well as rereleasing the previous amiibo for returning Super Smash Bros characters. Amiibo can be scanned into the game as a CPU character. They start at Level 1 and can be trained up to Level 50. As they level up through battle, they learn how to fight better and can become quite challenging to defeat by the time they reach Level 50. They can be played against or alongside as teammates so it adds a ton of extra possibilities to the game. This amiibo specifically is Ridley, from the Metroid franchise. The figure itself is incredible.Ridley is a massive character in-game and that translates well to the amiibo (though for obvious reasons he's not as large as he is in-game). The details and colors are great, perfectly representing the character from the game. A must-have for Metroid fans, Ridley mains, and amiibo collectors.

As far as details and size this amiibo is the best of the newer smash ones

This is probably one of my favorite Amiibos now, due to the nice quality of the design and all of the details that they were able to squeeze out on the tiny frame of the Amiibo. The extra features of the Amiibos in general are great too so it's more than just a little trophy/toy.

I bought this in store and it was the last one. I got there just in time to buy it. It looks nice though, and it looks high quality. This is a must have for Amiibo fans. I haven't opened it yet and I might leave it in the box for a while. I'm still deciding. Great Smash bros amiibo!

They're priced a little more than the rest of the Super Smash Bros. series of amiibo, but you'll see the extra detail in these immediately, especially when compared with the original set of figures that came out with Smash Wii U. Ridley is a great amiibo to have and goes nicely with the Samus and Metroid amiibo from the Samus Returns series of amiib.
