My kids finally stopped caring about Skylanders, and now Amiibo is here. The little figure is nice enough- I'm an 80's kid so I have a pretty good appreciation of Sonic, and it's a nice detailed statute. You really don't buy these fir kids to pay with though- they're collectibles and ostensibly are supposed to be useful in games, in that each Amiibo basically adds a very small amount of content to a variety of games. Sonic here adds an outfit in MarioKart 8 and a computer player in Smash Brothers that starts out as not being very good and eventually gets very hard to beat. If you're thinking of buying it to help somebody in a game, think again- there are immensely better ways to spend $13. This is only worthwhile if you want to collect the figures, and even then $13 for a figure is high, especially when there are something like 50 figures so far and more on the way. I'm pretty far down the rabbit hole with these things so I'll probably buy more, but I'm nit confident my kids won't realize these are pointless in a month abs then I'll be seeking then to Gamestop for pennies on the dollar.

Its an amiibo. Its a fantastic amiibo. It fuctions perfectly and its sonic so thats even better. 10/10 wont buy again unless it somehow breaks but definitely recommend.

Being in my mid 20's and an Amiibo collector this is one I wanted. Having played Sonic as a kid I looked forward to getting this one and the design and quality is great.

As an amiibo collector I will always give a 5 for the smash collection. IMO they have the best in game effects!

Sonic was my childhood, so it’s great to have a small, high quality model on my desk. Plus, if you have Mario Kart 8, it unlocks a new suit!

I'm not an avid amiibo collector, but I do like getting a few that mean something to me. This amiibo is well designed and good quality

I missed getting him when he first came out years ago. But I'm so glad they released them again cause he's going on my wall now!

I only bought this Amiibo because Sonic has always had a special place in my heart ever since he first appeared on the Genesis. I was one of those kids who grew up with the NES but when Sega came out with the Genesis with all of its arcade style games I jumped ship very quickly even though I eventually ended up purchasing a SNES. Unfortunately the last good Sonic game was Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast. With all of that being said I must say that Sonic is a must buy for every Sega fan both old and young.

As everyone knows, Amiibo have been a mess since Nintendo announced the rarity of certain ones, It seems like Wave 3 is no different especially with the Port Strikes on the West Coast, so when you find them grab them. Now as far as Sonic goes, he is one of my favorite characters of all time, they did a great job on him, and these are made well for being a glorified happy meal toy. Good paint job, and detailed for what he is. Should be a common one along with megaman.

High quality amiibo. Sometimes the paint can be off or not the best quality but the sonic one is top tier.

This Amiibo can be used in Smash Bros. or in Mario Kart 8. One of the better looking Amiibos

So Amiibos are probably one of the best toy/Gaming inventions released in the past decade. They are incredibly awesome collectables, and sonic in particular is a really nice one to compliment a collection. For Super Smash Bros, it is awesome to train him how to fight and watch him become a very powerful Smash Bros fighter. I hope they integrate his amiibo more in to the world of Nintendo games and give us more uses!

nice figurine details are very good with nice paint nice collectible
