I love this amiibo and I got it mostly because I enjoyed Windwaker a ton when I was growing up on my Gamecube. The shield and body are the most sturdy parts of the mini trophy replica. The shield's design itself is really detailed too. The shipping was fast, the payment was easy, and the condition was flawless. I wish I could get all the amiibos through Best Buy.

This is probably one of my favorite looking Amiibos. The Toon Link style looks great and this figure came out looking perfect. Great detail and the quality is top notch. A must buy for Zelda fans and worth a try if you're barely getting into the Zelda series. Pick one up!

So far, all of the Wave 3 amiibo seem to look better compared to anyone from Wave 1 or 2. Toon Link has a solid design and look. His Tunic has a textured look and feel, his shield and sword have great detail, and everything on him seems spot on. He works with any game that the regular link works with, including Mario Kart 8 and Hyrule Warriors outside of Super Smash Bros for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS. Pick this one up.

OK, that statement's clearly preferential, but of the two SSB amiibo options for Link, Toon Link is my fave. As far as the figure itself goes, it is a great rendition of Link as he appeared in The Legend of Zelda, Wind Waker (which is also a great game). With either Link amiibo, you can unlock additional content in other Wii U and 3DS titles. In fact, the Link amiibos are currently (as of this review) one of the top three figures as far as number of compatible games. So whether you're a Legend of Zelda series fan, or just a fan of the Hyrulian hero, I recommend picking up either of his amiibo guises -- you can't go wrong no matter which you choose!

I Was hesitant of geting this figure since i do not have my Nintendo yet but I wanted it because I love this version of Link. When I got it I was really satisfied because it looks really nice and detailed. It's a good figure just to have if you like collecting stuff.

Very cute and well done toon link. Was difficult to find, but luckily they restocked and I was able to get one. In Smash he is faster at down attack then Link, but his up smash isn't as good.

If you are a true Legend of Zelda Fan You must purchase this figure even if you don't own a WiiU. This figure is very well made and looks great with other video game related memorabilia.

Starting off, I have to say I love the more cartoony characters as amiibos rather than the more detailed and human-like characters. There's something about the simplicity of the cartoon character amiibos that makes them more vibrant and less detail allows it to look better through sheer simplicity. As for Toon Link, if you own Smash Bros. or Hyrule Warriors or Mario Kart 8, he is usable in all three. That being said, if you already own a regular Link amiibo, don't buy Toon Link for functionality as he does the same thing regular Link does in both HW and MK8. As a display piece or as a Smash Bros. helper, I think he's amazing!

The details of this figure are bold and nicely done, and the game connectivity is nice and quick and provides a fun addition to Smash Bros.

Similarly to the other Smash Bros series Amiibo, this figure is hight quality and looks great. A must have for any Wind Waker fan.

Made well, I like collecting Nintendo stuff. I haven't been able to get my hands on most amiibos just like everyone else.

This Toon Link Amiibo is awesome! It has great detail, and it works for Super Smash Bros.!

I find the original Link Amiibo quite ugly. It is hoisted by a garish, large yellow plastic brick. The pose has him looking downward for no apparent reason. The quality of production amounts to a mushy, sloppy face. The sword is made of flimsy plastic that is more likely to bend than to stand straight. But that's the original Link. This is Toon Link, and Toon Link looks awesome! The simpler style of this character lends itself well to the Amiibo manufacturing process, with less invasive plastic, a cute face, good paint (those cat eyes rock!), and a shorter sword less inclined to bend. I'm very happy with this one. It's too bad that Wind Waker HD doesn't give me any cheats for using it.

Toon link is the perfect character to be made into a figure as he isn't extremely detailed and doesn't lose much in the transition from screen to reality. While he does have supports, they are clear and not obtrusive to his design. A must buy for any owners of Hyrule Warriors as, just like the regular Link amiibo, it unlocks a new weapon class for Link in that game.

As with the majority of the amiibo figures, I'm very impressed with Nintendo's translation of game character -- especially one as stylized as Toon Link -- to 3D collectible. Luckily found one of these one my local Best Buy shelves back when they were recently released and love having him on display with the classic Link and their parallel poses.

Another great Amiibo. Not only a nice trophy, but also a companion to play Smash Brothers with. I don't have the heart to battle Toon Link and to destroy his hopes and dreams, instead we battle together, us against the world in 2 vs 6 8-Player Smash. Bros was lonely and empty before I met Toon Link. Look out world, here comes Toon Link and I!

Link at his best! There are so many iterations of Link but only a few have had the privilege of being a figure. Toon Link has appeared in many games and deserves some recognition as well! And this amibo is nothing short of that. Like the others in this wave he looks amazing boasting excellent detail all over. A must for Zelda fans!

I don't quite get how this works with the games but it sure does look great. As a huge Zelda fan this looks great in my collection of memorabilia. Hopefully when the new Zelda game comes out it will have some level of interactivity with it.

This is great for people who love Link. He's a good desk mascot for those who are into that sort of thing. Amiibo has cool functionality, so if you're a fan of the character and also main him in smash you should definitely pick him up.
