It adds $5 to your eShop wallet. If you have the same Nintendo Account connected to multiple systems. The balance of your wallet will carry over to each so you can use it there as well. Personally, only buy this card if you are just short of purchasing that one game or DLC you really wanted.

I love that Best Buy offers the lower value eShop cards, unlike Amazon or other online retailers. I prefer to get digital codes rather than keeping my bank information stored on my Switch, and it's also great for when my younger siblings want eShop cards for their birthdays and Christmas. Digital delivery is always super fast and there's even a link in the email to add the funds directly to your Nintendo account so you don't even need to enter the code itself.
