What can be said about this item? Well, here goes. 1) It's an eShop card. 2) It has value. 3) The redemption code worked. 4) I paid less than face value for it due to a limited-time promotion. All of those things are true, and it easily met expectations. There's really no way for an item like this to exceed my expectations, because either it works or it doesn't. Although, I suppose it does exceed expectations because of the promotion. There. It exceeds expectations. A great deal when it comes around, otherwise, I'd probably just add money through my console.

The code on the back will give you $10 to spend on anything in the Nintendo eShop, obviously, but what's special about these is that they also come with "special" AR cards that let you play with select Mario characters with the Nintendo 3DS' cameras. It doesn't look like it, but the AR card is folded inside the main card, with a little diagram showing how to use it with the 3DS. It's a neat little bonus, and gives at least *some* kind of reason to buy these cards, but that's probably not what you're really interested in buying in the end.

I love to collect all Nintendo Items, and this card is great it has Luigi on it, even after redeem it I keep it for Luigi. This Card let you add a balance on your Nintendo eShop purchases without the need of a credit card, this is great if you are not confident on give away your CC number or maybe to control the amount of credit your kids have to purchase their games. My advice is to get this cards when they go on sale and combine it when there are good sales on the eShop, this way you can score amazing deals!

These cards help you get great games and control your budget, and I like having this option rather than storing or sending out credit card information online. I also like that I get rewards points with Nintendo _and_ Best Buy (I actually used Best Buy rewards points for this particular purchase)! If you do not have capacity on a good SD card, the physical cartridges are better. Also, it is very important that you use a hard, flat item to make the number appear in order to avoid having the actual numbers getting scratched off.

If you want to buy games off the e-Shop, chances are you know what this is. Pretty self explanatory. I will say this; these are a very useful way of avoiding credit theft on your device. If you have an account with Nintendo, and someway, some how, somebody stole your 3DS with a registered credit card on file, there is the possibility of a paper trail. Cards are one way to avoid this possibility. Get these when they have a 10-20% discount to bump your account, then wait for digital sales!

Fun addition to a regular eShop card

This is mainly a $10 eShop card, used to purchase games, themes, etc. on the Nintendo eShop for Wii U and 3DS. This version of the card also includes a Koopa Troopa AR card for the 3DS app "Photos with Mario." It's a fun app where you can use the 3DS cameras to take pictures of yourself or other people/things with Nintendo characters generated by the cards. So if you're going to buy a $10 eShop card, you may as well buy one with the free bonus AR card.

These cards make for great gifts. They are also nice to have in lieu of adding a credit card to your eShop account. I've found it helpful in managing my eshop purchases as it makes me think twice about wanting something if I have to go out and buy a card first! For years, these cards were pretty plain. It is nice to see not only a new character design but the bonus of an AR code for use with the 3ds console as well. Glad to see the nice little gift included.

Not much to say about the product, since it is just a $10 card for the Wii U/3DS eShop. For full price it is no different than paying directly on the eShop (although you do get the bonus of Best Buy points), but the deal is great when they go on sale for 10% off which Best Buy has every once in a while. The eShop selection itself is pretty decent, I've been using my eShop funds for SNES Virtual Console games on the Wii U mostly. Would definitely recommend.

No surprises here. $50 credit on the Nintendo eShop, compatible with Wii U and the entire 3DS family of systems. These seem to be on sale (10% off, sometimes 20% around Black Friday) pretty frequently, which is a great deal. I like how you can use the money on your 3DS or Wii U once it's been added, as long as you're using the same NNiD on both consoles. I download a lot of games on these systems so it's definitely worth it. Also makes a nice and easy gift.

The $10 eshop card is like any other - you can use it to purchase digital products on the Nintendo eshop. The eshop is great and there are many fun, cheap games as well as the same titles you can get on disc for the Wii U. The addition to this card is the use of Mario with the Photos with Mario app on the 3DS. The card creates a 3D Mario that you can take photos with and can also interact with the characters from the other photos with Mario cards.

Great gift option for 3DS/Wii U owners who want to load up credit on their children's systems and let them buy stuff without having their account tied to a credit card. Plus, with this card, you get a free Goomba card which is one of the rare products that provides a 3D character (visible through the 3DS lens) and with the free eShop download "Photos with Mario" - which you will need to download.

I have 3 children all under 7. We do not ever buy actual games anymore. Everything we purchase through the eshop and download to our WiiU and our 2DS. No more worrying about where that game is or if it got put away. Also, no more switching game discs to play something new, basically it gives your WiiU and DS systems a mobile gaming experience like on an iPod or phone, except it's Nintendo so the games are much better than any iPod game.

Simply put, these Nintendo eShop giftcards make great stocking stuffers for both nostalgic Nintendo fans and for young gamers alike. I buy these frequently to avoid using my credit card in the Nintendo eShop. I gift these to my 8 and 10-year old nephews who have no problem inputting the codes and depositing credit via their 3DS consoles. The cute characters on the cards are a plus, if you're into that. Overall, a useful product.

If you have a couple of birthdays for friends coming up, and they have a Wii U and/or 3DS, this item is a no-brainer if you want to go the gift-card route. Unlike other eShop cards, the three $10 cards have a smaller profile, being the size of a credit card. For those who aren't into Nintendo, and know others that are, keep in mind that these cards are only for digital purchases, they can't be redeemed for things like Amiibos.

    Better than a $10, but I'd prefer a $25 option

Getting right to it, $20 can get you 3 NES games, 2 SNES games, and any number of indie games or other downloads under 17.99 before tax (don't forget, you'll get taxed for your downloads in most US states). If you want 2 $9.99 downloads, like DS titles on WiiU or something from the frequent Atlus sales, you'll need to have just under $22 available, in most cases. With a $25 option, you can cleanly afford 4 NES games, 2 DS games, 2 SNES games + 1 NES game, or even a $14.99 + $7.99 downloads if your local tax rate is under 8.25%. Unfortunately, that option doesn't exist. The 3 $10 gift pack is the next best option. That $35 card is really out there. I mean, I don't even see the logic in $35 unless you're getting 4 SNES games, or use it with other card(s) to digitally purchase a $50-$60 game. Clearly, I think about this too much. Only giving a marginal recommendation because it's still eShop money. Congrats for reading this far!

My five-year-old grandson loves playing his Nintendo gameboy 3-D and this is the perfect way to let him get additional games for it. I've bought actual game cartridges, and he's fine with those, but they are tiny and easy to lose or misplace. With the game gift card, he can pick what he wants, buy his game online, and always have access to it if he accidentally deletes something from his gameboy. Perfect in every respect!

This is a great alternative to using a credit card for Nintendo's eShop. You also get 2 AR cards to use with the 3DS (Goomba and a "?" card). The AR cards work with the Photos with Mario app that is available free on the eShop. Additionally, the AR cards can interact with other cards from the same series. I would say this is a better alternative than getting the other eShop cards that don't come with AR cards.
