I tend to buy the prepaid cards for the eshop rather than use my credit card number online. Just because its an option. I think its safer (sure, why not?)

Nintendo is king. They have the best games especially in the past with the nes and snes. Now I can play earthbound on my HDTV without breaking out the SNES.

This points card is exactly what you think it is. Adds currency to your Nintendo 3DS or Wii U account (thankfully, they're shared). Does the job at regular price, but Best Buy will run a sale on these cards 2 to 3 times a year, which is great to stock up on for eShop sales. I'd definitely recommend grabbing a few when they go on sale. They make the eShop sales that much sweeter!

A player has so much flexibility with this card. One can buy extras in a game, DLC content, a game and much more. It can be used with the Wii U or DS.

There wasn't a huge amount of content in the Nintendo store that interested me, but it wasn't that hard to spend the money without feeling like I wasted it.

There are so many great games only available on the eShop. These cards are absolutely worth it to find affordable games that have a ton of replay value.

Points cards make great gifts, and it's nothing new. That being said, you can never go wrong with an eShop card when deciding on a gift for a gamer.

Money only for Nintendo. Not many ways to save money on this product but it lets you buy nintendo dlc which so far is all high quality and priced fairly.

At my Best Buy they never charge me tax! It's always $20 or $10 even... that is really great I can transfer money to Nintendo easily... tax free! :D

Nintendo is doing great with DLC, Making it worth your money. I recommend using it for games like Mario Kart and Smash, you will have a lot of fun.

Much better to earn rewards points with Best Buy rather than spend the money directly on Nintendo's E-Shop. Pre-purchase the cards and earn the points!

As the title of the review suggests, you know what you are getting when you get this. I typically find these useful when purchasing Smash Bros. DLC.

If you don't trust using your credit card to make on-line purchases with all the server hacking going on, this is a good way to get around that problem.

Useful for the eshop if you don't want to use your credit card info. Also comes with a card that lets you play around with a Goomba using the 3DS camera.
