Customer Ratings & Reviews

Its alot better than I thought! Its designed better than I gave it credit for. You definitely gotta try the switch 2, its the only way to know.

Excellent gift for my daughter on her birthday. It comes with several games. It's phenomenal. It's a game that can be played as a family.

Joycon for the switch 2. The magnets will become a fidget toy for you. Iykyk.

good controllers. have another pair as well , would recommend

These Joy-Cons are awesome—bright, fun colors and responsive controls. I picked them up to replace a drifting set, and they’ve worked perfectly so far. Syncing was easy, and they feel just like the original ones. Plus, the new colors make my Switch setup look fresh again. No complaints.

Is amazing... Original i don't see difference to original

Great addition for the Nintendo switch 2, love the magnetic feature

Design and comfort The pastel Light Blue/Light Red color combo looks clean and modern, and it matches the standard Switch 2 colorway, so your setup looks cohesive whether docked or handheld. The controllers are slightly larger than the first‑gen Joy‑Cons, which makes them easier to hold for adults and reduces hand cramps when you’re playing with a single Joy‑Con sideways. A matte finish gives them a more premium, less “slippery” feel compared with older, glossy models. Features and performance You get the full feature set: motion controls, HD rumble, wireless play, and the new “mouse” style pointer mode that works in compatible games and menus. Nintendo added the new C Button for quick GameChat access, which is handy if you’re using voice features in supported titles. Battery life is strong, letting you play long sessions before you need to reattach them to the console for charging. Connectivity and ease of use The updated magnetic attachment system makes it easy to line up each Joy-Con and snap it onto the console, with a satisfying click so you know it’s locked in. Pairing is straightforward, and once connected they behave just like the originals, so there’s no learning curve if you’re coming from a Switch 1. A lightning icon appears when charging on the console, so it’s simple to confirm they’re powered and ready for your next session. Build quality and stick drift Many owners say the sticks and overall build feel sturdier and “less cheap” than the original Joy‑Cons, which inspires more confidence for heavy use. Reviewers highlight more responsive sticks and better gyro performance, making precise inputs in games like Mario Kart or shooters feel more accurate. That said, independent reviewers still note that stick drift can eventually happen, since Nintendo hasn’t moved to hall‑effect sticks, so it’s improved but not completely solved. Things to know before you buy This set includes the left and right Joy-Con 2 and straps, so you’re ready for two‑player local multiplayer right out of the box, but it does not include a separate grip to combine them into a traditional controller. If you mainly play docked and want a “pro” feel, you may still want a dedicated controller, but as a second pair for couch multiplayer these shine thanks to their comfort and easy sharing. Overall, if you like the Switch 2’s pastel look and want more comfortable, feature‑rich Joy‑Cons that feel like a clear step up from the originals, this Light Blue/Light Red set is an excellent choice.

I bought these controllers in-store and they work perfectly. They connect easily, respond very well, and feel comfortable to use. The quality is great and they work just like the original ones. Battery life is good and they are perfect for playing with family or friends. I’m very satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend them.

1. Matte finish feels a lot better than the switch 1 version. 2. A little bit bigger and easier to hold for adults 3. MORE responsive than the switch 1 version 4. The Click sound when attaching to the switch is so satisfying to hear and feel 5. Mouse-ish functionality feels quite responsive to movement. 6. Ive been using since release, no drift so far. 7. battery life is quite long to play for extended time without needing to re-attach to switch to charge. 8. Color is perfect 9. The release button to remove from the console is perfect. 10.

Nintendo Joy-Con 2 (L)/(R) is a substantial upgrade over its predecessor, offering refined ergonomics and innovative new features that make it a must-have for the Nintendo Switch 2. The fragile rail system is gone, replaced by powerful magnetic connectors. They snap onto the console with a satisfying click and detach easily using a dedicated release button. Whether you're looking for a replacement or a second set for 4-player Mario Kart World, the Joy-Con 2 is well worth the purchase

A Huge Upgrade With One Small Wish The Joy‑Con 2 controllers are exactly what I hoped Nintendo would deliver for the Switch 2. They feel tighter, smoother, and way more responsive than the originals. Every button press has a cleaner snap, the sticks feel sturdier, and the improved motion tracking makes games feel more accurate and fun. You can tell Nintendo really listened to years of feedback and rebuilt these with quality in mind. The new features are honestly my favorite part — better battery life, improved vibration, and a more comfortable grip that makes long sessions way easier on the hands. It’s the kind of upgrade you don’t fully appreciate until you go back and realize how much better these feel in every game. If I had to point out one thing missing, it’s custom colors or personalization options. The Joy‑Con 2 performs amazingly, but I’d love to see more ways to make my Switch setup feel unique. A few bold colorways or themed editions would take it from great to perfect. Even with that small wish, the Joy‑Con 2 is an outstanding product. It’s reliable, comfortable, and a massive improvement over the original design. If you’re upgrading to the Switch 2, these are absolutely worth it.

The Nintendo Switch 2 joy-cons are upgraded and snap on the console with ease. They respond perfectly when clipped to the console. Time will tell if these are more resilient than the Switch 1 controllers. I just wish Nintendo would knock the price down back to pre-tariff prices.

I purchased the Nintendo Joy-Con 2 (L/R) as a replacement set and as an extra pair for multiplayer games, and they’ve been a great addition to our setup. The biggest plus is how versatile they are. Whether you use them attached to the Switch, in the grip, or sideways for multiplayer, they respond well and feel comfortable in every mode. For family game nights, having another pair makes it easy for more people to jump in without any hassle. The responsiveness is excellent. The motion controls, buttons, and analog sticks all feel accurate and smooth. Games that rely on motion or precise movement—like Mario Kart, Smash Bros, or party games—run exactly how they should. Pairing and setup are extremely simple. You just slide them onto the Switch or connect wirelessly, and they sync immediately. No complicated steps, which I appreciate. If there’s one concern, it’s that Joy-Cons are small, so adults with bigger hands might need a few minutes to get used to the size—especially when using a single Joy-Con for multiplayer. And like most Joy-Cons, they’re not cheap, so adding multiple sets can get expensive. Overall, the Nintendo Joy-Con 2 pack has been reliable, comfortable, and perfect for expanding our multiplayer options. They work exactly the way they should and have held up well during regular family use.

These are a nice upgrade over the joy-con's for the original Switch. The build quality feels much stronger compared to the originals, though time will tell if this holds up or not. The joy-con sticks have a nice feel to them as does the body of the controller. The bigger size means you won't get hand cramps as quickly when playing with a single joy-con in horizontal mode. If you have a Switch 2, pick up an extra pair for some 4 player MKW.

I bought a second pair of joycons right away with the switch 2 thinking they might have the same faults, but so far we haven’t really needed them. But we have used them and they are great. They are definitely an upgrade from the switch 1 version.

They feel great in the hand, are comfortable to use, and hold a charge well.

Ok, these look and work great (obviously). My one problem is that they do NOT come with the hand-held dock thing that allows you to use two joy-cons as a single large controller. The Switch 1 joy-cons came with that. That's a problem for me since I have small kids that don't quite have the coordination to use these standalone in two hands. If not for that, I would give this 5 stars. For the amount that these cost - I expected that to be included.
