Basically compared to the old 3DS this one is lighter smaller body yet still retains the same screen size ratio as the previous generation or actually the previous 3DS XL there’s a cover over the cartridge now which was a huge flaw and not heavy one in the other previous systems and with almost the same battery life as the regular 3DS XL this is hard to pass up May negative thing I would say about this is the placement of the stylus which is on the bottom but aside from that there’s nothing that I can say about this and even a little button in the middle of the poke ball clicks

This model of Nintendo's latest line of 3DS products is quite beautiful. The button on the pokeball can be pressed, (although it serves no function) which is a neat feature. It is nice that the slot to put in games is now covered, ensuring protection of all your 3DS games. This is not a five-star review because overall the system feels very delicate. The hinge in particular seems loose, which may pose a problem to be fixed in the future. It is still a very well-made 2DS that does not feel cheap at all. Great care was spent in the design, but I would not recommend this particular model as a gift to small children.

This DS has a great design. It matches the Pokemon theme and the fidget button is a good feature but maybe it should do something that is a surprise. Having the start and select button on the side rather than on the screen is great as it allows for a bigger screen view. The power button on the outside is very nice so you don't have to open the DS to turn it on/off. The C stick could use an upgrade to be bigger like the Joypad.

If you like Pokemon and want a replacement for your 3DS this is perfect for you and comes at a good price. The colors on it are beautiful. It's smaller than a regular 3DS XL but still bigger than a regular 3DS and not too heavy. The button doesn't do anything but is still fun to press. It comes with a 4gb micro sd card and will only accept micro sd cards. It also comes with an ac adapter (charger). My small complaint is that the top screen looks like it scratches easy but it's durable. Definitely worth it.

This variant of the 2DS is very well designed and the fact that the SD card slot and the game slot are right next to each other makes this system much better than the New 3DSXL counterpart in my opinion. This is an excellent system for anyone because of the amount of classics on the system, with Animal Crossing New Leaf, Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, Pokemon Ultra Moon, and Dragon Quest VIII are some of my personal favorites and very solid games for just about anyone.

This game console is portable and the screen is big so you can enjoy playing your favorite games

Sound well the speakers are behind the screen not like the other 3ds 2ds have holes so the sound better. This one sounds muffled and loading you have the worst sound quality. Second issuse is playing new Pokémon ultra games. There made for 3ds and look blurry or unclean due to it being set as 3D is on. Which a arch comes out for those games so it will know it’s 2ds and turn off 3D functionality. I don’t why it does not. Enough about Pokémon ultra games on this 2ds xl. I only recommend this device if you like Pokémon and the case. But don’t expect good sound used your headset/headphones.

Really good picture quality and the outside design is super nice along with being very durable.

I love this pokemon console.its design is so cool.. It feels solid..nice red color..its a collectors dream..im glad i got it.

Works great, lightweight, plays all 3DS games. Not the highest quality material for a gadget, the hinge is not snug so the top screen wobbles slightly. Built-in speakers have a bad placement. Screen protectors may not fit well due to the tight dimensions of the device. 4/5 Stars.

Great for 6 year old! He was so excited to get a DS that looked like a pokeball and it was only $10 more than the regular 2ds xl. Would recommend

I love Pokémon and this is so adorable. Get it if your a Pokémon fan and don’t need 3D. The 3D hurts my eyes so this is a great buy.

My child was so excited for this item. As a lover all things Pokemon he can’t put this down and takes it with him everywhere he can.

My son loves it! The design is nice and since its a 2DS there's plenty of games for him to play on it.

Bought this for a present for a 7 yr. old along with Sun and Moon. He has been wanting this.
