It's been a while since Donkey Kong Country 3

Slightly longer version: It is a 2d platformer for a franchise that has not had a 2d platformer in over 10 years. It is a solid experience, the only issue would be that only the motion controls is the only option for rolling (something important), and that the classic controller or classic controller pro cannot be used.

Enjoyable Game

I normally do not let him play during school days but since school just started and their load is not yet heavy I allowed him to enjoy his new game. So far, I haven't heard him complain about anything regarding the game. It is enjoyable to watch. Even his younger siblings take their turn to play and enjoys it very much.

Great Price for Nintendo Classics

Warning: This is almost the exact same game as Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D for the 3DS. With the exception that the 3DS version is enhanced in 3D and has some menu options to make the game easier.

Retro Studios not only proved that platformers can still be fun and creative, but also showed the world that Donkey Kong is still alive and kicking and deserves more games in his IP arsenal! DK 64 remastered anyone?

My purchase was very good. The clerk actually opened her own phone, and an app, to see if it was cheaper anywhere else. She saved me $5.
