I have never purcahsed a pro controller for the switch but when i upgraded to a switch 2 i thought id give it a try. Boy was i impressed! This controller is game changing! It feels great in your hand, buttons are clicky and the analouge stick feels great! Also another huge plus is the battery lasts literally forever. Have only charged it once since ive purchased it and it still has been good to go without charging again. Highly recommend!!

A Worthy Upgrade for the Controller!

I’ve had so many controllers over the years and I enjoyed having a comfortable experience playing video games with them. This Switch 2 Pro Controller is a HUGE upgrade compared to the Switch Pro Controller. The texture is so smooth, buttons aren’t loud when being pressed, and the triggers are definitely responsive. This controller even has 2 back buttons for assigning different button commands for a more ergonomic experience. Made games like Mario Kart World and Breath of the Wild have a more streamlined experience that didn’t cramp my hands. The controller even includes a headphone jack which means I can listen to the game by myself without disturbing others around me. Would highly recommend this controller if you want to dedicate a comfortable and streamlined gaming experience!

Im lucky to be able of comparing between ps5, xbox and this controller… and man… this swtich pro 2 gets the best analog stickers motion/feeling in my opinion. Beyond that it just feels good. I have no complains. I just wish Nintendo added analog triggers as well but you know, I guess for that we would meed to play in another system. Oh and also i would like to see a special edition or something to make it look with more “personality”. You know that using this controller is this is the way to go whenever playing the switch docked. Battery life, 0 problems, i havent charged it since purchased (daylunch) today is like 25 days afterwards, but yeah I play maybe for an hour every 2 days average, so not a problem for me at all. One more thing, this is a food controller. But i dont think it could be reeeaaally considered a “Pro” version of a controller if compared with its similar named competitors on other systems. But from the price standpoint, its ok.. get it some discount and cant be mad at it.

Very well-built, perfect weight/feel. Love the addition of the extra mappable buttons. However this isn't a substantial upgrade over the previous generation, which cost less new, and can be had used for much less. Unless you absolutely need those mappable buttons, save your money and keep your old ones and find a gently used one on the resale market

Must-Have Controller for Switch 2 Owners

The newest model shows clear improvements, particularly with the grips and buttons. The feel is much better, making gameplay more comfortable and responsive. I’ve also noticed a decrease in stick drift issues, which were more common in past versions. Overall, the controller feels more sturdy and reliable. The comfort level reminds me a lot of the WaveBird controller for the GameCube, known for its ergonomic design. This comparison highlights the care Nintendo has taken in making long gaming sessions more pleasant and less tiring. That said, the main downside is the price. Nintendo’s asking cost for this controller is quite steep, which could be a barrier for many buyers. It might be wise for potential customers to wait for discounts or sales before purchasing. In summary, while the new controller scores high on quality and comfort, the price might hold some back. Notifying customers about any future deals could help boost sales.

The controller feels more premium than before, very smooth feel to it. The buttons and sticks are super quiet and feel great. The rumble and battery life are improvements over the original as well. Great controller.

Better than the original pro controller. seems to fit in your hands better. Yes, it can turn on the switch 2 (the original pro controllers won't turn on the switch2). I personally love how quite the buttons and analog sticks are. Makes it easier to game in bed when the wife goes to bed early. I don't like the price tag, but I it was on sale for $75, and had rewards points to make it a great deal. Glad I ended t up getting it. If you can afford it, get it. I don't even use the new buttons, I'm too old to try to figure those out, Too new to know about stick drift....I'm hoping they do better than the original pro controllers.

I thought it would be a waste to upgrade from the original switch pro controller. In my opinion it feels nicer in my hands and the battery lasts forever. Plus you get two new buttons on the back where hour hands go.

Feels great and it seems the thumbs ticks have had an update. And the controller seems lighter than the original model. The 3.5mm Jack is also finally available as well. The battery life is still great, definitely a nice upgrade.

Well this is the best controller out for the switch. It’s very light it fits perfectly in my hands the build in back buttons it’s what any gamer want out of a controller. Sony and Microsoft should take notes cause this controller is a must have if you have a switch.

    The Best Switch Controller Yet

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller has completely elevated my gaming experience. Right out of the box, the feel in hand is great and comfortable for long play sessions. The textured grips make a noticeable difference and the rumble is amazing. One of the biggest improvements I’ve noticed is the charging speed. Compared to the original Pro Controller, this one charges much faster, so I’m back in the game sooner and don’t have to worry about downtime. The battery life is also excellent, lasting through multiple sessions without needing a top-up. If you’re looking for a reliable, comfortable, and responsive controller for your Switch 2, I highly recommend this upgrade over playing with the Joy-Cons.

If you own a Nintendo Switch 2, do yourself a favor and get the Pro Controller. Seriously, it's a game-changer! From the moment you pick it up, you'll notice the premium build quality; it feels sturdy and perfectly weighted in your hands, unlike the smaller Joy-Cons for extended play. The ergonomics are fantastic, making long gaming sessions incredibly comfortable, whether you're battling in Smash Bros. or exploring Hyrule in Zelda. The buttons are clicky and responsive, the D-pad is precise, and the analog sticks are smooth and accurate, offering a level of control you just don't get with the Joy-Cons, especially for more demanding games. Battery life is also phenomenal, lasting for dozens of hours on a single charge. If you're serious about your Switch gaming, the Pro Controller is an absolute essential and worth every penny!

Controller with 2 extra Buttons… Not Pro

For a Pro controller the battery life is fantastic. The behind the grip buttons are nice. I like how you can change them by game and not globally. However, to change them is not very user friendly but once you get used to it…. The over all experience is better than the joy cons. My only complaints is the increase in price isn’t generally worth the price of admission. I would correlate this to a standard remote with two extra buttons.

The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is an interesting device. It only works with the Switch 2 for now. It wakes up the Switch 2, unlike the Switch 1 Pro Controller with the Switch 2. It's got back grip buttons, which are really useful for those times you don't want to take your thumbs off of the sticks to press a face button to jump, etc. I do find it interesting that it's actually slightly smaller then the Pro-Con 1, but the face buttons, ABXY and D-Pad are bigger too. Which is nice. I like it and even got another one for my wife now, since we got a second Switch 2 for her to also enjoy, without sharing the first one.

This controller was easy to set up, feels great in the hands and works great too! The additional buttons on the back are interesting and should come in handy. It is a bit pricy but it just came out.
