If you don't have a Switch yet and you're wondering whether this is the best time to own one... GO FOR IT. I was on the fence but after spending about 10 hours with Mario Odyssey I'm in love with the game and console. The screen on the console itself leaves a bit to be desired, its not very high resolution. Its colorful and gets the job done, though. Mario Odyssey is outstanding in every way. Take it from a jaded gamer in his 30s, Im unable to play this game without giggling and being delighted every couple of minutes. Did I mention the graphics and music are also incredible? Runs really smooth too, whether docked or in portable mode.

My grandson loves his new Super Mario Odyssey Edition Bundle - Red Joy-Con. He was extremely happy on Christmas day.

The product was picked up on Tuesday, but I decided to open it right now, when I got the splatoon 2, then I decided to open the console and when I review it I'm surprised that the back is scratched and on the side in the part of down has something sticky.

+ hybrid system + good selection of Nintendo made games and ports. along side of lots of indie games + OS is fast and responsive with a clean look and simple to understand icons. Asks what profile to use per game launch. + joy cons bat life is supper long like 40hrs + joy con grip dose its job and holds the controller in place and has status lights. + Mario is a great 8/10 game + joy cons are same color makes it better looking then mix color or boring gray. + no more tiny 320p screen like the 3DS, this has a 720p screen and a decent size. + case it nice, has mesh to store joy con caps. and room for game carts - mario is DL code, but dosn't use much space - 32G mem is very low, should have been 128Gmin - dock is kind of cheap and only really there to hide cables, also its missing a Ethernet port. - msrp of the bundle dosn't offer any discount compared to buying items alone -Mario game doesn't allow you to reconfigure buttons, or change motion control moves to a button. Haven't played any other games, or tried out any other addons like pro controller yet I'm just waiting for the xenoblade one.

I'm not an extreme gamer but, I do enjoy xbox and first person shooters. I read about the switch when it was first announced and I kinda figured it was just another 3DS. The release of mario made me look a little closer. I watched a kid playing mariokart at a best buy and was blown away by the game play on the big screen. Then I really looked into the system and was very impressed with how Nintendo designed it. All in all it was enough for me to pull the trigger on getting one. Needless to say its the freshest feeling of a game system since the original Xbox was released. Its well thoughtout and complete. The gaming content is incredible. Mario Odessy is in my top 5 best ever games. The whole system is a joy to use and nieces and nephews go crazy over it. If your on the fence, GET IT!

The Switch is deceptively light for its size. The joycons take some getting used to - and the button to release them is a little stiffer than I would expect. I'm hoping this will ease with time and use. The transition from dock to handheld is easy, meaning I don't have to find a good stopping point if someone wants to use the TV while I'm in a game - I can just pick up the console and finish up. The battery life varies depending on what you're doing, but I got a solid 3 to 3.5 hours playing Super Mario Odyssey before getting a low battery warning.

Bought the bundle for my nephew for Christmas. The game is digital. Some people don’t like that but I’m ok with it, especially since you don’t need to switch out cartridges. The red joy con are great and I’m a little jealous of them since I have the boring grey ones on mine. Comes with a nice carrying case too. Wish I came with a screen protector but I ultimately purchased one separately.

I held off on buying the Switch until an actual Mario game released, and the combo is perfect! Not only does it come with the console, and a high quality game, but it also includes a very sturdy carrying case for those that love to travel. I highly suggest this for a birthday or Christmas gift!

This thing is awesome for the entire family. It controller takes some getting used to but nonetheless you enjoy it. The game selection is awesome And the ability to have it on the big screen or pack it up and go with a differently a plus.

This bundle came with a great game and is an easy set up. My kids have already been playing and enjoying the system thoroughly. Worth the money if you’re going to buy the components (case and game and such) anyway.

I purchased this for my kids and its great. great fun for the whole family. It has a lot of great titles and great for parties as well. Well worth the money.

This game is amazing! Couldn't stop playing it and love how it has assist mode for first time players to get in to the groove of the game. Sadly it didn't come with the screen protector as it was mentioned in the descriptions but is a very awesome game! If you're a Mario fan this game will blow you away and you'll become very addicted to it.

MARIO Odyssey is great the console bundle comes with some cool gear. Been some time since we have enjoyed family game night is back with 123 switch and arms.

I love the red Mario switch its a different shade of red than the neon red. I highly recommend the bundle with the game if you don't own a switch yet

I got this for my boyfriend as a gift and he absolutely loves it. The red color is very nice and the case is very sturdy.

I purchased the Nintendo Switch on release day, but ended up selling it as I just could not get into Zelda. So the other day I went to pick up a game for my PS4, and I see the special edition Super Mario Odyssey bundle and I just couldn’t let it pass. This game is fantastic, I can’t hardly put it down, and the console has received enough updates and downloadable content to keep playing for long hours. Highly recommend it for the holidays!!

PROs: Great graphics and battery power. Easy to use and set-up. Library of games is growing. Sports games, like NBA 2K, are impressive. CONs: can’t help but be dissappointing that it’s not a smart device in anyway shape or form in its current state.
