Do some research on your own on the cost for a USB-C to power/hdmi/USB-A splitter. This is actually a bargain from Nintendo. That out of the way, being able to move the Switch to the MBR at the end of the night when the kids go to bed is worth it. Sometimes you just want to play against the wifekabd Kay in bed, and not be stuck in the living room. Sold.

Some people have complained about the price. When you consider the fact that you can play the Switch on any TV with only have to plug in 2 wires it is a pretty awesome setup. Have you ever tried taking your PS4 somewhere or felt like moving to the living room while playing? It like having multiple consoles without the $400 price tag.

This is a different example of how Nintendo is trying to encourage the switch, nd if it's on sale this is completely worth it.

This is awesome and a cool and different concept. Love that you can have one for the home and one for travel.

Despite the price, it is worth every penny. I did not want to risk bricking my system with a 3rd party hookup.

The Nintendo Switch dock is a great addition if you take your Switch to different TV's, but it's way too expensive. Get a cheaper alternative if you can.

Going from game room to bedroom just carrying the switch makes the system even better! If you play on multiple tvs this is a must have. Just carry the tablet with you no need to unplug the dock too

These are all the same charging and docking components that came with the original Nintendo Switch Console. Third party docks have become somewhat of a liability so first party gear is always better to have. The pricepoint though is quite high for this product as MSRP. Really the only choice though if you want an official dock, short of buying another console.

The Nintendo switch unit already contained a docking station this was confirmed by Best Buy so I didn’t need the separate docking station and so I returned it. Appreciate Best Buy honesty

This is an extra dock, power cable, and HDMI cable just like the ones included with the switch. Good for an additional tv or to keep in your travel bag so you don't have to unhook your primary setup. Can't get your hands on a switch? Pretend you have one by hooking this up to your tv.

official dock set from Nintendo. These are harder to find now a days. DO NOT use a third party dock as there is the chance to brick your system. This one comes with the extra AC adapter and HDMI cord.

Although a bit steep at $89, having an additional dock in another room is great for those with a Switch. I can play it in my room, or the family area, all by just simply popping it into dock. It comes with an additional power supply, and HDMI cable, which is perfect.

I got an extra dock for my bedroom. I was tired of going back and forth from living room to bedroom and sometimes I like to play at home on the big screen. I read lots of reviews and heard from some people that other cheaper knock off docks do not work or even brick the switch. I don't like taking that chance. It works as expected. I did knock off one star for price. 80 dollars for a dock seems steep to me.
