Finally! Nintendo released their online service after a year and a half. Was it worth the wait? Overall, I have been happy with the service, especially for the price. Even so, I think Nintendo could still add more content to this package. The main features I'll discuss a little further are online access and the NES games. Online Access This membership allows you to play games online with others. Up to this point, doing so has been free. Understandably, Nintendo charges for such a service, as long as it works well. So far, playing games online with the service has worked great! I've spent some time playing Rocket League with others, and I have no complaints about how online games work. NES Games The membership also includes 20 old Nintendo (NES) games. Many of these games are games that I grew up playing, so it has been a lot of fun to play. My wife and I enjoy playing the puzzle game Dr. Mario together, and I've introduced her to the old Mario games. Other feature games are The Legend of Zelda, Tecmo Bowl, and Excite Bike. Paying $20 for a year membership, I believe that this is a great deal to get to play these games again. However, with Nintendo's HUGE library of games, I think they've missed an opportunity to add a ton more games and maybe charge a little bit more. I would be happy to pay maybe $35 for 100+ games from NES, SNES, and N64. Hopefully, they will add more games in the future. Overall, I'm happy with this great service. However, I believe Nintendo could do even more with this. If you played the NES back in the day and/or you like to play with friends online, this $20 membership is definitely worth the money!

By bringing the Switch online through a paid subscription you can finally play Smash and other games online. This is the cheapest online gaming subscription at only $20 year. Nintendo's subscription also gives you access to free games monthly. Where they fall a tab bit short is that the free games are from the NES era which most of us have played time and time again. Outside of that for the price, this gives you everything you need to play your favorite games online.

So, if you have never played old NES games then this is the perfect time to try them. This pass, much cheaper than competitors but offering a bit less than them, gets you the ability to play multiplayer games online, in addition to giving you a fair amount of NES games to try out or replay. There are drawbacks, but overall it is a solid offering and a great way to play games like Splatoon and Monster Hunter online with friends.

Absolutely necessary for maximized entertainment. This memberships grants access to older Nintendo 64 games and more. This online pass allows for cross play connections and be able to play with players across the globe.

Card works great. Like playing the older games and connecting with friends.

For what one could do with this members ship it really is amazing that Nintendo had our backs with this one. $20 gets you access for a whole year of online fun with friends or strangers that have the same multiplayer games as you. Not to mention the adequate selection of virtual console games that come with the pass downloadable from the Switch's e-shop.

The Nintendo switch online service is only $20 for one year! Not only does it give you the ability to place multiplayer games online, but it also gives you access to 15-20 classic NES games each month! Nintendo adds 2-4 new games a month and it's rumored that they will eventually add Snes and N64 games at some point in the future! If you own a switch its a must have for the games alone!

I love my new Nintendo Switch! It gives me something to do and is very entertaining. I have the add-on subscription which lets you play some games off of older platforms such as the original Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo and others it keeps me entertained!

I would recommend this product for their Nintendo Switch. It helps my son save games. You can pick your game up where you left off.

I needed to add a certain amount to my basket for free shipping. I love my Nintendo Switch and have forgotten to update my subscription so this was a no brainer. It adds a lot to make sure I can play my games online and the free games every month is a bonus.
